Now I'm not engaged in trading, I returned to bounty campaigns and also continue to invest in various projects. And besides, some altcoins have been in my portfolio for several years now. I think that this my strategy is close to many.

i will advice you not to carry all your eggs in one basket as it is not a wise investment strategy. I will advice you diversify your investment into different projects and ensure they you do adequate research before investing but ake sure you do not have all your investments in one basket.

This depends on market conditions, because at the moment the market situation has recovered and is improving again. The price of BTC as well as some of the top altcoins have experienced significant price changes, I personally started making real profits with BTC trading and the occasional profit I made from trading, I reused them to buy some bags of my chosen altcoins, for the long term.

I do not have a specific or well defined strategy, i usually buy coins at low price and also keep good coins and tokens from bounties for longterm especially if i have confidence in them and them wait for price to surge well over 100 to 200 percent from ico prices and then i take profit but this strategy can take long times so patience is key.

I hold on to top bitcoins and altcoins to get them, because I still can't do it for day trading. For new project investments, I usually prefer to take part in bounty campaigns, AMA or other events they open.

Are you using a long-term strategy to make a percentage profit?

or you'd rather jump from project to project..?

sharing your experience in the crypto industry will be highly appreciated here
It depends on the projects to be honest, most of the time investors are jumping from project to project to make short time profits when the market is not in good bullish trend while rarely few projects got more support and gain long term holders as well.So why not both just decide according to the situation, if you are not making profits then move to another and keep doing it to make more profits because at the end of the day you are looking for profits only.

I would agree on this one because for me, what I believe is that there is really no fool proof plan that one can create when it comes to trading and investing in the cryptocurrency market, also on other markets as well. Though there is no fool proof plan, creating a basic and simple plan can be a good start for one to be able to have a concrete action plan on what to do and what to invest with. Of course, I go long term with the known cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and ethereum, and other projects that have a potential to be successful. But of course, do not put all your eggs in one basket as they say right.

Well, there are not strategies to make profits; instead there is a way and pattern. To make profits trading or investing in crypto currencies you need to do it the right way. Find a worthy token; do your own research; pick your entry point, and also determine the profits you are expecting. There is no other short cut.

I think im better with the long term strategy because no need to monitor the project everyday.
And i guess cryptocurrency project will need some time to develop and become success in my opinion.
But of course, we must doing research about the project before pick them into our portfolio.

I learn a lot by reading this thread about strategies to make profits. Mine is just a short term holder, jump from a new altcoin project to the other that has a bounty on going to catch a good price when bounty hunter dumping after the distribution. Very risky since some new altcoin very over hype but never come back after that price dump so I have to be careful.

Most of the time long term investors are probably not ones that prioritise expects in trading, anybody can be an investor as long as s(he) buys coins creating portfolios. There is no strategy in that, but to a daily traders, it simply on kind of volatility some projects has and somewhat the circulating supply, mere watch on these gives traders a good sense of humor about some certain coin for easy trading earning profits. Some coin rises and fall within 24hrs of trades on a daily basis, take time to study such coin and hit on buy button when it falls.

I use both long-term holding strategic and short-term trades. It totally depends on the type of coin in am pouring my capital into. If it’s a well-established coin with a little less volatility, I would prefer holding it for long term to see some exponential growth in my portfolio and if it’s a new project or a highly volatile coin, I prefer trading in short term as it provides quick and significant profits.

Although short trading in such coins is often risky and there is a possibility that you can lose your complete or most of the initial capital. Most of the times, I don’t jump from project to project. I just continue buying low and selling high in order to increase the number of same coins and my overall portfolio.

I tried lots of things, but it seems the best strategy just hold bitcoin. Yes sometimes some alts are rallying and bringing good profits but most of them dropping a lot and causes more loses than profits.

Strategies would depend and vary to different individual, depending on how you utilize it. Some prefer to cause fud, to provide them an avenue to force the weak hands and buy low; while some would rather, monitor market charts with TA/FA inclusive while waiting for a low value to come on in. The best way to make profits or grow your portfolio is to continously and always do your own researcgh.

Categorically speaking as a trader; i believe the best strategy to make profits from the crypto currency market is for you to see what the market hodls in the nearest day ahead, could be 1 day or 10 days or 30 days. The skill to see where a market movement will end ($) will bring you to an idea of when to get in trade, or get out of trade to pick up massive profits.

First, you need to choose good projects to invest, if you choose small or shady projects, I believe your plan will go bankrupt. I often use a short-term investment strategy to invest, and often sell when 5-10% of the profits from it

If you are active all day online then you can definitely make good money from day trading and also flipping one project ro another but a person like me who is not much active and is just here as part timer simply prefers to hodl to profit.
Right now due to the global pandemic most of the people have shifted towards the daily trading and use this quarantine period doing trading. That's might be not a bad way to earn some good profits.

Depending on the coins we are going to buy, there are several coins like Ethereum, Litecoin and Binance Coin which
are very good hold for long-term. But new projects that are newly listed on popular exchanges, we can use the short-term
strategy, because new projects often occur hype. We can use this to make a profit, most importantly for short-term strategies,
don't be greedy for big profits. Can later buy at the price of the shoot or lose the moment to take profit.

I am the long term investor who pitches upon upcoming developments of projects and buy into  them whiles they are cheap. I sell for my profits once i see the price increase at least x50 but if i see that the coin is worth much holding for a while then i hold on some portion of it and sell part of it as well.

for the long term I have never tried it at all, usually I fill the bag by utilizing certain moments. this year I only rely on news from the project that will make an upgrade event or move to their own mainnet and results that i obtained are pretty good it's just that it seems this way only applies to projects that have a volume and rank <500 because I think if ones holding mainnet are bad projects this won't give any hype.
