When the price falls, that's the right time to buy and make it an asset for future. No need to panic sell because it's value increases so high when prices do go up again. so it's better to store more when the value if less or down.
I think that this question itself is a provoker of stress situation. When the process are falling, obviously you have to do nothing as it is not in your hands .selling your bitcoins at this time could be considered as the biggest mistake one could ever make . For me the best thing to do when the prices are falling is dont panic, because when we panic immediatley we will surely comes on our mind to sell it with the very low price so in that way we are the loosers, so another best thing to do is to hold it until the price of it will rise again and always trust and believe that when the prices are falling is it will not take too long.
staying calm and dont take the panic are the good thing to do as a trader and having some trouble like the price are falling and we know on that situation it is hard to stay calm but always think some possibility and negativity that can happen if you are take the panic on you.
usually as i have noticed when bitcoin price are falling then that is the time that altcoin price are rising. so, all you need to do is to balance your holdings. buy coins that is in lowest price and trade or sell the coins that has the highest price at the moment.

I suggest, "Don’t chase bitcoin prices." Decide on a entry access and stick with it. With bitcoin, you’re almost always right in terms of foreseeable price action. Be patient, and let the Bitcoin price come to you.

Hold and invest, that is only my option. Hold when i need to hold and invest when i have my money to invest. That is my 2 options when price are down.
Thats so risky, have good reason to hold coin is a must. Don't hold coin which didn't has good fundamentals. I mean is factors like market cap, liquidity, fluctuation, developers and enthusiasm is important. Sometime cut loss when the price fall is needed to avoid bankruptcy.

Instead of panicing like what most people could do , weneed to take this as an opportunity to buy ourselves some cheap coins which could easy return a good profit within holding for a short period of time.
What you can do is that, you just need to wait for the price to go high and be patient if you really want to gain profit.
This is true, weak hands always lose money. Just be patient and definitely price will recover. I know not being emotional is tough when you see your investment going down but you just need to trust Bitcoin.
My strategy when prices are falling is to invest in them. When I find a coin with a low price I immediately but it. But if I have invested in it when it was with high price I wait until it becomes the same price again.

I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling. Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
Usually it's buying time when price is down. Especially the bitcoin savers.They used to buy coins to save more to have their profit in the future.Not just a profit but a big profit. Some are holding their bitcoin and wait for price increase because their coins is too wasteful to sell.But some bitcoiner have no choice the have to sell it wether in a low price because they need it.
When the prices are falling, take tactical decisions buy more coins and preserve them,once the prices increases then sell the coins that gives profit.
