Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling. Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
There are only
TWO WISE THINGS to do when the prices of crpytocurrencies are falling. The first thing to do is
TO HOLD. Imagine that you've bought a coin at $10, then after some time, its price dropped to $5. There's no point of selling it. As long as that coin has the history of being on the top at some point, then there's nothing to worry about holding it. Cryptocurrencies with high market value and with good history usually has the ability to recover for not more than a month.
The second thing to do when the prices of cryptocurrencies are falling is
TO BUY MORE. Again, if you bought a coin at $10 and the price dropped to $5, then you should keep the coins you have already bought and buy more coins of that kind.
