Perhaps, I could say to myself that I am one of the crypto enthusiasts because I knew to myself that I am not a professional trader.
But I cannot say that I am not earnings in crypto, because I've been doing it for a couple of years now since I decide to file my resignation
to my work job before.

Let me answer this question: There is always another dip point of dip that you think is the last destination coin price ever can visit unless the price is zero. Indeed, catching the bottom is like playing with fire, no one ever can guarantee the bottom is here or there. There can be many events that can change everything we think about the project or altcoins, being careful, and investing wisely is the only safety measurement.
investing wisely is the best choice. be careful in choosing assets. sometimes when assessing projects and overconfidence it can make us forget something that can bury our hopes. falling conditions sometimes tempt us to immediately fill our bags with very cheap assets. but sometimes, they will not rise according to our hopes and predictions.

Yes, I am a HODLER too,
pick one of the top 100 based market caps then wait until the price rising, usually, I buy on a bearish situation

And how do you determine whether the current situation is bearish for the coin or not? After all, you may think that the price is at the bottom, but in fact it will be a plateau before the next price drop.

until now I have invested in crypto using the capital I got from bounty Even then didn't invest a lot only in small amounts and coins that have good potential, I prefer to buy new coins because it is more likely to increase them many times

The challenge about new coin is that it is not easy to predict if it is going to come back after the bear. Most new coins don't get back to ICO price. It is really a good way to invest if on a good project. Dia and cartesi have been good after listing. So a lucky buyer will have a good story on them.

Of course, being a holder has a big enough risk if the alt coins that we hold so far have experienced a drastic drop in price and of course the big risk also gives hope for big profits as well because buying alt coins at a cheap price and holding them for sale when the price increases which is quite high, but as you say of course we also have to be good at reading charts and the price situation that is happening in the market so that we can decide the right time when to buy or sell and there are times when alt coins that are not included in the top 100 can provide we benefit if we are good at exploiting the price situation.

I am a holder but I somewhat started early 2012 but I was a fresh grad and had no money to invest in crypto at that time. Since then I started earning crypto and started putting my savings on crypto whenever the price is favorable. I have seen the bull run last 2017 and way before that I believed that crypto has a huge potential. I watched the market grow and had been part of some of good projects since I had joined in this forum.
I'm also a hodler too because i am used to buy potential coins at its low price and sell them at a higher price. I may be an early adopter too because i was here already quite a long time and i have seen how the market turns into bullish and then bearish and keeps on repeating its cycle knowing the fact that the crypto price keeps on fluctuating.

I think investing in cryptocurrencies would really depend on how a person is willing to spend his money, his time, his energies, to the procurement of coins and tokens that he will be saving for future trade. If a person has the know how and the street smarts to the ins and outs of the trading and has a network of acquaintances that shares cryptocurrency information that they can use, then it would be advantageous on their end to be able to make good investing decisions based on the information they get. But I am a day trader, and I want to trade daily and earn daily. We face risks everyday and that is something that every cryptocurrency investor should have, willingness to face risks.

I would love to be an early adopter , where you get to the seed or private tokens and you just watch them grow slowly , but unfortunately I'm not still a whale to swim with them and they don't like small fishes swim in their pool, Im just a trader and a holder now .

I am a Hodler and a day trader as well. Whenever I see any profit opportunity for a day trading I will take it, and the same when I see a holding opportunity.
Though am not that good in day trading because (Buy low, sell high) my day trading based on P2P and arbitrage.

Trading has many methods, they are profitable but they required knowledge and capital.

It is difficult to say which group I belong to, I have a passion for cryptocurrencies and hold cryptocurrencies that I think are worth holding and taking profits when I feel the need to do so.
After years of trading and researching the crypto market, it's time to embrace the market and surpass it.

Being hodler not bad at all as a newbie i never know that  coin i have will moon as soon as possible
If it going to moon what a suprise right? No one know when we get the jackpot

Maybe now I am the holder, because I can fully control the chart at any time, so it is better to hold it than to do day trading.
maybe you will try to become a professional trader if it's time, yes, start with doing analysis in a short time then do it gradually to get used to it and be comfortable doing it.

3. Hodler

I never thought I had hodl many tokens from the bounties that I joined, some made money, some didn't. But it's a fun thing when we can hodl tokens for free without having to buy them. But I have reduced that and did more useful things.

I think in crypto value investing has worked for me. Having patience to wait it out in a project with good fundamentals surely works.

I can't put myself in any of the categories. I have been in the crypto market for a long time. I managed to earn a lot of money, and then lose some of it on investing in high-risk tokens. Now I am seeing a new dawn of various projects similar to those that were at the time of my money losses. And I would like to warn especially experienced investors against investing in the wave of hype.

I think I can fit on #3.

Since I hold a lot of coins, (many dead sh!tcoins) I can say I am a hodler since 2016. I still have (Nani) XRB from the initial airdrop.

I don't spend any of my coins since I have a good paid sallary (for my country) and I made from crypto a retirement fund, I take and hold anything I can get from mining, bounties, services etc.

I'm a holder and at the same time an early adopter of some new altcoins. I'm also a swing trader. I accumulate my gains when I knew I'm already profit and buy back at the dip. So I can consider myself as a crypto enthusiast.
