There are different types of investors with varying priorities goals, habits, and tolerance of risk. Read this thread to know the type of crypto investor you are.

1. Newbie: In any industry you must first be a newbie before you become a pro. To get started with crypto you need a little capital to start. This group include those with a little or no knowledge about the crypto industry but eager to seek to diversify their investments into new high risk assets that offer a good return

2. Crypto Enthusiast: Like a newbie, the crypto enthusiast joined the market not long ago and still doesnt have enough knowledge about the crypto industry although he has built a diversified portfolio which he checks their performance everyday.

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.

5. Professional Trader: These guys have seen crypto trading as a part time or full time job. They dont have concern with holding cryptos for a long time. Their main and only goal is short term profits.

What type of investor are you? Im definitely an HODLER
I think I can consider myself as an hodler too. Even though I do not hold that huge amount of crypto at the moment, I have enough to hold on to and no matter how troubled the situation is, I make sure to keep on holding into it. Before, I usually gain most of my profits from joining in signature campaigns when such campaigns are still reliable and profitable cause now most of it are scam and there are not much of it anymore. I am hoping to learn how to trade soon so that I can earn more money in the future and make my holdings larger.

Many people have their own strategies, for myself, Crypto Enthusiasts, Holders and traders are the types that I do,
because long-term hold does not always have a positive impact on the portfolio, even it has enormous risks,
the most important thing is strategy or the type you use will work.

I can say I belong to two groups here and one that is not mentioned. I'm an enthusiast and also a trader. Just that I don't trade just anyhow. I'm an arbitrage trader. I look for where to buy for a low price and sell almost immediately on another exchange for higher price to make a profit.
The crypto market is always volatile and the temptation is calculated. Ironically, in my personality there is a generosity of artistry or adventure. I have, though, preformed the plans and drew a cut line for sale. but can't put / throw it.
I often lose profit x5 or more because of that adventure. Keeping strong is the right thing to do in order not to lose sleep on ambition.

Im a hodler and early adopter of altcoins. I remember when the time i have been buying some major coins at ico price and im still holding my coin right now.

Im sure that there are so many people that the same like me too.

there may be certain reasons if we hold for a long time after the ICO is finished, we usually wait for the price to match the ICO price or see an opportunity that the price will be more and try to continue to hold it.
there are many ways that each person does and can be different but I usually when it is close to the ICO price will release, and I am sure there are also things like you do

Yes i also have a same experience on trading .I try to buy on low price on ICO then hold it for long time to reach my level .I always research the project before putting my capital into the invest and choose the best project and i made many profit on this way .However we all can try this .

yes, what you do is in accordance with your personal circumstances and feel it is time to let go.
Of course all will not invest in projects that we do not believe in and try to see and observe the project. if you not never get fooled and get a price below the ICO, of course you are a very lucky person. because many are not as beautiful as your story and experience many losses with various problems.

I was a holder but now I'm a miner and also a short time trader, honestly things changed better for me since I started trading and also mining, comparing to holding it's a night and day difference as majority of coins I hold turned dead after few years
Yes, doing a few different jobs on crypto would really help us a lot, but for tokens that you once held and died after a few years, it was only because you chose the wrong token to hold, because if you were holding the right coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, then they will never die.

I am the same as you (HODLER), because I always invest in one coin and HOLD until the price increases according to the target I want, because after the price increases according to the target I want, then I will sell it and started looking for other cryptocurrency to invest and HOLD again until I get a profit according to the target I want.

I've always been a hodler, because I rarely trade on big bucks or values, so I can't categorize myself as a trader. I also have some experience as an investor, not very profitable but also not losing. I hope that I have enough free time to learn mining and also become a day trader who is able to maintain daily profit, so that it is enough to reinvest into a growing business

I'm an investor and by investing I would love to get a huge profit at all. In that case, I was bought some BTC last year when it was low value and it has held till now by me. I think its value will be increased to 35000$. So, according to your speech, I'm a holder and also an Early Adopter investor. If I more clarify about myself, then I have to say, blockchain technology trading is my main earning source in the current situation. I decided, Blockchain trading will be my professional trade. So, Finally, you can identify me as a professional crypto lover with a professional trader.

honestly i don't know what my profile is, because i just buy low and sell high, i don't worry about making hodl and i don't invest in altcoins constantly. the last altcoin that i remember investing was DIA that later had the hacker case and altcoin suffered a big dump luckily i bought it for a very low price that allowed me to sell at a profit. Being a long-term investor has great risks, for example now nobody knows what the direction of bitcoin is. Can you imagine buying for $ 34000 and then dropping to $ 30,000 or less and not going up? so far there is some indecision if buying at that price and making hodl is good or not. in the case of altcoin it is also dangerous

Hodler and short-term trader Cheesy I hold certain assets (including Bitcoin) for a long time. I still have Bitcoin from 2014, of which I occasionally sell smaller amounts, but generally hold it. Then there are projects that I think do not have a great future but are hyped in the short and medium term. I only keep this for a short time and take profits in Bitcoin with which I then invest for a long time. This strategy works very well.

Till now, i don't think i can claim myself as a professional trader, so  i believe hodler & Early Adopter both of those suit me more. I always try to keep my eyes on & looking for new projects, make analysis about those and then invest on those project, sometimes hold those for long untill they reach the terget that i aim to achieve.besides i did dare to buy bitcoin and others altcoin when those were go below because as you already said, i believe in their future demand

I usually term myself as the reserved trader; i do not target short gains at all due to numerous volatilities and vulnerabilities around. My focus is solely on the long goal in a reserved manner; i don't just buy this, or buy that. I take time to evaluate and any token i invest on i am always certain of a profit gap. This is why i am a resserved trader, my tactics for me.
