I totally agree with what you said. Losing all my money happened to me last year. I had this thought of chasing back my losses when I already knew that I lost all my money so the mistake I also did was I borrowed a big amount of money from my friends in gambled it all, just trying to get back my losses but what happened was I also lost the money I borrowed so I ended up getting depressed by that time, did not eat for days, until someone approached me and asked me to forget what happened and move on. It felt like someone woke me up from a nightmare. I continue working to start a new life and that is what I did. I changed my thoughts to be a positive thinker. I saved my money, I also save all the Bitcoin I earned here and stopped myself from gambling a lot of money, I seldom gamble now, and when I play, I just spend small amount of money so when I lost it, it is easy for me to save that amount again through proper earning instead of earning for a glance or for an instance.
Just like you, the mistake of not cashing out after winning big. I think almost every gambler have made this mistake at one stage or the another at a point in gambling. Then I won, instead of me to cash out my winnings , I decided to have a bigger fish and toss all the winnings, but alas, I lost all my coins. That incident thought me one thing, to never to be greedy in gambling. When you have a fair play, and won, do not make the mistaking of tossing all coins immediately. Cash out, be thankful for the one you have, then play again later.
Exactly, sometimes being greedy or too ambitious may lead to our losses. Base to my experienced was the time I fully bet all my winning streak having a huge amount which I feel that time I'm confident to gamble all my money because of all my winning streak but unfortunately it was not. I feel so down on that time which I didn't expect to be happened. Well, after on that I must be conscious enough all my moves and must control my emotions and I already learned my worst mistakes in gambling.
I made my worst mistake few hours ago, i deposited 0.0035btc and within almost a week i turned it to 0.14btc (Almost $1600) and i decided to increase the base bet when i lost all within some few seconds.
This is the problem with gambling because of greediness gamblers always lose money and gambling house always makes money. We are not happy with the amount we make in gambling and always go for more and more profits until we lose our money so it is always good to set some limits for both winnings and losses in gambling. Consider it as a good learning and try to avoid doing same mistake again in gambling.

Op, that is I call greed in human and it happen to so many people particularly people who play gambling including my humble self. When you try to win back what you have lost in that process you tend to loose more because at that point good decision are not usually taking when playing gambling.

This happens to everyone as no one is contented with what they et. this happens every where and thus causing a huge losses to people in gambling. Had you being happy with making the money you would have walked away and invested in altcoin or played the other day or enjoyed yourself with that money, but sadly you lost it.
I think when I was a beginner in gambling I am hot headed gambler, I dont like to lose and will keep on doubling the bet until I win, unfortunately gambling and anger is not a good combination, lost a lot of amount and become more stressful with gambling, that is the worst moment of my life because of gambling

I think one of my greatest mistake when it comes to gambling is that whenever I lose every two or three consecutive rounds I didn't stop and continue playing believing I can recover from that lose didn't realize that I should stop for my luck is not presence on that day and because of that I loss so much. I think this is everyones mistake that as much as they want to win but their luck was not there it only end up loaibg everything. I think gambling is somewhat a proper timing to your luck
I know that feeling. You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "come on, double again and we recover!". I started thinking of safety measures during gambling like Setting a Predetermined goal, Depositing only half of Bankroll, etc. because I started in gambling with a pretty good lucky streak, and that set me in a "i'm invincible" mentality from which it was hard to recover and become more careful.I have this experience too in the past and in that time, I only feel that if I continue to play, maybe I can get my luck so I can win the money but unfortunately it didn't. I hear that voice too in my head and it attracted me to still play and even I lose more money. but that was my bad experience and I don't want to do the same mistake again especially now I don't play gamble too much and only play if I really want to play.

I agree with you that you should never try to make up for your loss by gambling as it will make you lose even more, but it is pretty hard to control. So I just quitted gambling after that. I decided if I cant control, just quit it.
I've gambled and won a lot of money in a day. Maybe for you it is not too much, but for me time was very much. I did not have any capital at the time, so I gambled on the money I got from an online job. I figured I got the money I got for free, so it might not matter if I gamble. That Is instead of me betting that USD/GBP Is going to go up at were it is now in the next one hour but now click that is going to go down and I lose out in that betting. The worst mistake in gambling is placing bets on games that you aren't experienced enough with or you just haven't a decent overall knowledge about that sport , team , card game or whatever game that needs a bit of knowledge to interact with ( we're not talking here about luck based games such as slots machines , dice , roulette or anything similar ) .

The worst mistake is nothing but something that we are doing repeatedly. We are going back to the gambling site every single day in hopes that we are going to win back what we have lost in the past when we know for a fact that we are just going to lose money just like how we did in the past. It's like we are reading the same book again and again but we are still hoping that we are going to finally get to see a different ending.
