Being greed is the worst mistake in gambling. If you can keep your greediness safely, then it wouldn't be a mistake and you can take a profit a k a withdraw or if you lose a certain amount of money, you will choose to stop, not to all in your bet. It is good to not being greed in gambling.

Their question was not what do you think is the worst mistake in gambling, but what is your worst mistake?

Now, I am assuming you got greedy before and you are right that people who get greedy usually end up losing, but don't forget being greedy gambling implies you are already up, and it is worse to get desperate because not only are you down but you are trying to come back, and of course the odds are always against you. At least if you get greedy you might only lose some of what you gained and still walk away with a net profit.

Never chase your loses, Once you make profit cashout. Gambling is like a circle, if you don't know when to stop you'll end up at the starting point Smiley

The worst mistake I did when I was gambling was when I was trying to win back the loss I had when I gambled all my bitcoin and hit the "all in" button and to my surprise I lost all my bet.
So I tried to win it back again and deposited twice the amount I bet the first time around and to my surprise again I lost it all.

It was even the first gambling site I ever tried to play and I was so eager to win back the losses but could never have it back. I never went back to that gambling site ever again.

The worst thing that I have done so far when gambling is that, I always believe that I can win my losses back and always end up using my savings gambling. Gambling makes you addicted, the more you play the harder it is to avoid it. Gambling addiction is difficult to stop, so I guess the best advice that I can give to those who are not addicted in gambling yet is to stop before it gets you.

This question have been beaten to death already which you can eventually see some similar threads regarding to this but answering on the thing you are saying here which it is actually a common mistake on where most gamblers do experience because we wont really able to stop if we do see we are on positive instead of doing such thing we do decide to proceed even more which would result to lose it up again and worst case you would deposit again to chase those loss.
I am sorry I didn't see this question on the subforum, If it is against the rules to post duplicate threads, I'll close it.
Also, As I said, Gambling is like a circle, You win, then you feel like you can do better and better and eventually you land up where you started from.

Gambling involves skills as well as luck, but most importantly needs patience and self-control. You should know when to stop.
At times, its just not your day, so don't rage and give up, Take a break and give it another shot some other time. Good rest can help you perform better Smiley

My worst mistake in the world of gambling was actually in one of champions league games, Real Madrid VS Tottenham ... I betted 1&NG&2+, I gambled for Real to win and not to consider any goal but Tottenham scored the first.
It was my one and only mistake that day and I lost around 1000 US dollars.

Being greedy is the worst mistake every newbie or older gambler make on gambling. Gambling is only good untill you will take it as way to get entertained rather than to make some quick bucks.

Most of the newbie gamblers including me when I had first tried gambling try to win back their lost amount and at end they will lost all they have.

were on the same boat, this is also my worst mistake whenever i try to play gambling with bitcoins. im still addicted to deposit again and play even if i already  loose a couple of times and im only doing that to think that i can still recover my previous losses but im just unfortunate and too unlucky to commit the same mistakes over and over again. though i know that im not alone facing this kind of problem and i think all of us had been already experience it.

I think the worst mistake in gambling I did was when I played all in and never learned, did it like more than twice until such time that I didn't have enough funds for the whole week because I was so greedy and think I could win back the losses I've made. And mind you, I was always confident when I go all in and regretted it afterwards when all of my money is gone.

Easy... Depositing again to chase the loses of my first martingale...

I mean it made sense to me at that time. Martingale seemed a logical mathematical solution to gambling at the condition of having enough money. But this condition can never be fulfilled and I learned it the hard way.
Gambling should stay a pleasure. Deposit, know that you lose everything you deposited and stay away from chasing, it doesn't bring anything good xD

Once I was so confident in the outcome of the match that I bet all the money I had because the predictions and the winning percentage were too high and next day I lost my bet, that's so unfair... I think it shows that even in gambling sometimes you shouldn't follow the vast majority and always be ready to take a risk.

I'm not sure but i think i have seen thread like this before, and most of people's mistakes were either betting all in by "mistake" or trying to win back what they lost...  And of course they ended up by losing even more money, so i think its safe to say that this is the worst gambling mistake, as it happens to most of gamblers

Everyone would've been there as a gambler so yeah, it was pushing for more profit even after reaching a set goal in mind and eventually losing all of my balance in the process. It gets hard to quit once the money starts rolling in, and every bet victory urges me to push for higher profit. Ultimately, the house always wins unless I cashout which is almost never the case.
