Even me, I was urge to collect coin at my first time on having transaction with strangers around, I feel so cool at that time and make some studies on how to collect more of it. It was good Experience.

Bitcoin- in bullish time
My friend introduced me to the world of Bitcoin, so when I knew about it I was so excited earn much. She bragged about earning 1BTC in a month and 1 week, so I was like saying to myself if she could do it then so could I. So I claimed on faucets she referred me but weeks had gone; then a month had passed I was still not close to that 1BTC so she earned. So I decided to do a research on bitcoin and registered here at bitcointalk and read a lot about bitcoins and altcoins. Then decided to do trading and profited rather than those claim faucets which took so long.

Actually if you are just a newbie it is best for you to start in faucets I think she introduce to you faucets because it is easy to earn a little amount of bitcoin there, and I think that is natural for us seniors to do that, but you can not earn much with faucets these days, It is good that you have research here in the forum for more information and have encountered trading, but my opinion is for you to join on signature campaigns first if there are still available position for you because campaigns have much higher payment than faucets was, I think you need to save up as much bitcoin when doing trading!
Faucets are worthless because they just have a small rates in payments and they can't help you to earn at least a money to buy a food for everyday. Faucet sites are just part of the history of bitcoin and if you do faucets then you already wasting your time.
Based on his rank, a newbie will not get enough rate too just like in faucet, i think it is better to rank his account first or deposit his real money and buy bitcoin and use it as a capital in doing trades or investment to grow his money fast rather than waiting and wasting his time in faucets or low rate signature campaigns.

Need some spare btc for a new PC
Did anyone else came here to this forum, feeling like you've discovered a new continent or a new animal species? and then when you first find out about faucets and whatnot, thinking "I'm gotta get rich so fast with this" like bitcoin is some kind of a magic, only to discover that you were dead wrong and then defeated, you create an account here and discover even more possibilities on the ways of earning and getting into cryptography and programming even tho you were not interested at all before.

I'm here for months and I feel like I`m still on the very beginning. Experience, unexplainable cause I never dreamed about some internet currency and about all this world of other currencies. I have problem to explain others what bitcoin is, movements, some economy revolution against bank regime, is it some secrete organization big plan, so much mysteries about all this, and people are making real cash and live from profit they made here. Who love internet and computers, who spend a lot of time on internet, love to play games online and visit social networks, he sure must to love all bitcoin idea.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy
I really do agreed that when you joined the bitcoin talk forum you will really learn a lot of things here, which is I also experienced that too, and I was a victim by the cloud mining, it because I'm poor knowledge yet in bitcoin by that. But when I found out there other way to make profit of bitcoin I studied well about it especially in this forum.

Overall it was an good experience about bitcoins as it started to give me some extra income which I was always looking to earn apart from my full day job income and it will always give you a good feeling when your wealth is increasing.

Yeah. Most of us when we started got into Bitcoin, because we were looking for ways to expand our income. In my case, when I saw Bitcoin's price valued at $300, I've immediately started to seek for ways to make an income out of it. At first it was faucet earnings, but then I've realized that it was not worth it being hours in front of the computer for just a few pennies.

Later, I got into cloud mining, but I was scammed many times. I can't forget how much BTC I've lost with GAW Miners and cloudminr.io. I've even invested heavily in Paycoin, as it was promised to stay at $20 per coin. By the time XPY failed, I've lost nearly all my money, and was about to quit Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

However, I did not give up, and thus decided to explore the forums more thoroughly, where I found an opportunity to join a signature campaign, which has helped learn more about Bitcoin, as well as make me a nice side income.

Nevertheless, when we first start into Bitcoin, we gain experience to help avoid making any bad decision into any kind of investment in the long term.  Smiley

Similar to you, when I started earning bitcoin, I didn’t have any idea about crypto currencies. I just read an article in my local newspaper where a bitcoin enthusiast had written about it  and how it has changed the internet economy. So I started researching about bitcoin.

After quite a bit research, I understood that bitcoin price has a huge upside potential and I was right. When I started earning bitcoin, the price was around 450 USD. The current price of bitcoin proved me that I was not wrong. I started earning through faucets and signature campaigns and slowly moved to trading. Again I took a right decision.

I earn a decent amount of money through trading nowadays. I developed my own style in arbitraging and active member of many exchanges now.

When i first got into bitcoin it was a great little community but within a year that had all changed,  Silk Road went down, Gox and a number of other exchanges went down.

It started to make the news all for the bad things and everyone who i had been trying to tell that bitcoin was great and not a scam couldn't wait to tell me how wrong i was, but things got better - who's laughing now  Grin

I had a pretty bad experience with bitcoin. When I learnt about it,I tried to get as much as I could but didn't know where to get it.
I earned few from faucets and invested in one cloud mining.
No need to say they were scammers and ran away with my btc.
Luckily it wasn't a big amount but it taught me a big lesson.

When I first started in bitcoin I am feeling that I want to quit because the system of wallet is hard and I can say bitcoin is not user friendly but I try I think 1 week to get to know how it works how to send and receive the money that was when I am starting and I am getting profit in faucet only and that day the value of bitcoin is just only 200$ and something. That year is 2015 and now I discover this forum.

Just like you anybody else would start to be rookies I myself was one I just take the grab on the knowledge available with it and when I had a question regarding something with bitcoin I just ask other users in this forum for help until I don't need any teaching and just researching my question with google has do me good, then saving up as much bitcoin was the very fun I have.
Self learning is effective and same as yours i dont need any teaching since lots of informations about bitcoin is on the internet already which you could already learn yourself regarding to bitcoin specially on this forum. We do really start as newbies but it depends on an individual on how he gonna learn new things.

Yup! the world wide web really helps a lot and when it comes with bitcoin many newbies are encountering it with the internet, but be cautious in learning everything in the internet because there are some information out there that are not really helping in progressing with your learning some times it is still a lot better in asking certain people in the forum and sometimes your friends that are highly knowledgeable about it, and if you don't have any friends that are pretty in with bitcoin try making friends with one!
