Lick me like a lolipop
Honestly speaking I adopted bitcoin because I wanted to get rich with bitcoin. When I read stories about how bitcoin price shot to 3 figures over a time, I thought if I could earn some coins I too would be rich. But when I start using bitcoin,it gave me freedom and convenience that I started loving it

I started to use bitcoin because I wanted to earn some extra money and wanted to multiply my earnings and getting into bitcoin was always a good feeling.

I'm fairly new to bitcoins, though I've heard about it a couple of years ago. Didn't even realize that one could make some earnings through faucets and signature campaigns. After my first three or four days of being active in the forums, I tried faucets and earned about .008 btc. Not bad for my first earnings. But the captchas are making my eyes sore. Now I'm trying to rank up so that I'd be able to join signature campaigns, and somehow augment what I'm earning from my day job.

Yes, the captchas on those faucets really make the task not worth the effort. If you want to skip by the slow process of ranking up, there are people who sell accounts. I'm not exactly sure where to look, though, since I haven't tried it and am never parting with my beloved account. It probably can be found by checking out the marketplace board. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=5.0
Also, you can find a great signature campaign here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/yobitnet-signature-campaign-realtime-payouts-daily-1036113
Just know that if you join a signature campaign, your post quality may be scrutinized. Always strive to post quality and not quantity.

Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated. I've been reading a lot about different topics the past few days. I'll try to take in as much as I can, so that I could pay it forward to those who might need help or guidance. That is when I've ranked higher already. Also, I only try to post on forums where I think I have a bit of knowledge about or those forums which arouse my interest and curiosity.

My first experience with bitcoin is through faucets. I was hoping for that to earn 1 BTC through faucets only until I calculated that I need 1 million faucets to join with 100 satoshis each to earn the desired amount. Until I found this site that I can possibly earn it just a few months.

While my guitar gently weeps!!!
My first experience with bitcoin is getting it from faucets...I was so excited that time thinking that 1 bitcoin would be easily be filled up when I do it on daily basis...then little by little disappointment came til I almost make my own html rotator just to make everything easy and in time, but still, I only got few satoshis each day...I was so frustrated that time and keep on searching for faucets in google but the first website that always appear is bitcointalk, at first I never have a chance to look at it, til one time I was so curious on what's really happening in this site as it is always on top of my search..then here I am now, learning a lot each day...

truly a very beautiful experience and will probably be relived of all time. I am a person new to Bitcoin, first I know Bitcoin because I know that this one payment instrument has the advantage of better than any other means of payment that is the cost for delivery and the speed of delivery. The thing that makes me happy to use the Bitcoin, for now my focus in terms of trading Bitcoin, because I see the market has potential that Bitcoin is quite good and can get a much higher profits than investing in scam sites that can at any time.

First I know bitcoin, I started it from faucets. I could earn 50k-100k satoshi a day back then.
But, after some time, it was difficult to earn that much a day because many faucets that gave a lot of bitcoin went down.
So, I stopped do faucets and looked for other ways to earn bitcoin.

I first became familiar with Bitcoin back in the fall of 2012, I believe. I was into using my computer to crunch for BOINC projects. (SETI is an example of this.) There was a project where people could utilize their CPU & GPU to crowdmine. The procedes went to help pay for college grad students. Unfortunately, the advent of FPGAs and Asics killed this project since they were not hitting any blocks any longer.
I then had my interest renewed when another BOINC project figured out how to incorporate ASICS in the summer of 2014. I bought a USB bitflury and latter a small Rockminer to crunch for charity. This eventually led me to start mining for myself a little. I just retired my Rockminer 100 GHS, since I can't even make a profit by leasing the hash on MRR.
I have never accumulated a large amount of BTC, but I find it entertaining to trade altcoins ATM. I also have some cloudmining hash on Hashnest, but that small investment looks like it is a loss. I also have a few million sats on Poloniex, and make a few more satoshis by loaning it out.

I basically started Bitcoin with a lot of research, and I was consuming all the media I could find related to how it worked and what people were doing to earn it. This lead to me doing faucets for a month or two, then I came to this forum and made this account.

I'm very glad I started doing this, it's fun, with or without the money.

luckily i had a friend who introduced me to bitcoin and taught me how everything works so my first experience with bitcoin was a very good experience. i had received some free bitcoin from my friend and send some around to learn how things work and everything went fast and smooth, much easier than regular bank or paypal transfer.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy
When i started i thought its really hard to earned it but when i get a few bucks i've tried gambling and it pop up as a beginners luck and now i have enough funds i've entered trading so far so good then a few bucks still using on gambling still doubling my profit  Grin

My first time was that I didnt trust Bitcoin because I heard some stories that I can be hacked or something and that you can lose a lot of money if you are doing wrong.
But that is not true, I recommend now everyone that they have to use Bitcoin because it works very well.
Yeah to be honest I too didn't believe bitcoin at first thinking that how we can earn here, but only after joining the forum I came to understand everything and start loving it. Now I insist all my friends to use bitcoin.
