When I first started, similar to you, I wasn't aware of how Bitcoin wallets, private keys and addresses were generated. I was also astonished by the various terminologies like Blockchain, blocks and how Bitcoin transactions were not irreversible. I used to be very confused with how transactions were confirmed, and was always confused between miners and those who ran nodes. Over time I started learning most of it from Bitcoin wiki's and on reddit.

Back when I just discovered bitcoin. I Often use my time on faucets and my earning average is really low. So ya, Faucets are a waste of time unless you have some referals.

My experience when first using bitcoin, when prices are in the $1000 range. I am interested in bitcoin and try to get it, it was very difficult. I tried to get just from faucet. I even difficult to get 0.001 within a week. until at last there was a giveaway of stellar. I get a result that is high enough. then I grow it on the advice of my friends, and I am trying to invest on HYIP sites(I really do not know about hyip investment sites). after investment, I lost in one day. I feel sad and upset, I even almost desperate to earn bitcoin again. but until finally I came back looking for bitcoin and my friend gave capital, and I use it to trade, to this day I still do the trade.

My experience with bitcoin when i first started is that, it went smooth to rough experience. First when i first come in bitcoin scene,, the price of BTC is somewhere around 800-900 USD, Since i started collecting bitcoin on giveaways and bounties, converting a small amount gives me enough USD. Then the forum forbid giveaway the same time bitcoin start to fall to sub 300 USD, So one of my source of BTC is cut then, I need to do twice the work to get what I am earning.

At first, all i know is i need btc wallet for the investment program that i want to join in, then later on my friend teach me how bitcoin works and how to use it. that first investment is also my first time to be scammed. but because of that i learned not to trust easily.

I knew bitcoin from the darknet with Tor (if you know what I mean). Wondering whether it has any actual use legally, in the real world.
From most what I see, everyone in this forum use bitcoin to enforce non-reversible and secure transaction, unlike paypal. Moreover, it is not too much of a hassle.
The same experience knowing bitcoins exist and use on Darknet to buy on things ,hire and all of the illegals that has been banned are found . This forum helps a lot especially to the beginers . Yes,bitcoins is fast ,secure and have less fees shen sending money something a good thing for the peoples like us knowingly that its not only use to the darknets money or mode of payment there.

I would like to suggest you that spend maximum time on this forum and go through different threads and you will find different ways to earn bitcoins and in future you will be holding descent amount of coins in your wallet.

Same here. I do not have any knowledge with bitcoin. I also thought just what like others thinking about it that it is illegal and there is a bad people, a syndicate, behind it. 
And when my friend show me some of his earnings, then I believe it. It took me sometime to digest and understand what bitcoin is all about. How it started and what are the opportunities that it could give. I first earned by typing captchas and it did not give me a good profit. It gives me like $1.50 for a 3 days typing.

When my friend first told me about bitcoin, I was not simply interested but when he showed me his earning from signature campaign and how he converts that to fiat really attracted me towards it.

i don't know about bitcoin in about 1 year ago, until my friend come to me and introduce bitcoin to me. he tells me that he got something to do with his projects, and later he tell me that we all can make money with "this" then he send me his bitcoin to me to make a proof that we can make money from bitcoin.
after that, i realize that what he show to me is real and it can be done by we involve inside bitcoin. he teach me simple trading methods and play faucet, bitcoin and altcoin, cloud mining and hardware mining, and then i learn by myself until now.

Just like you and anyone else here, I do not know what bitcoin is. My friend introduced it to me saying that I could earn through it and make money. I asked how but I was dismayed to learn that you should turn on your computer 24 hours and have a good connection. That was how to get free bitcoin he said. It is called mining. So since I do not have internet connection and it would be wasting much electricity, I said no, I am not interested. Then year have passed and someone told me ways how to earn bitcoin, since then I am glued to it.

Rich? How so? There are no get rich times with Bitcoin anymore unless you have a massive balance to play with. Every average person is just earning a bonus through trading, and that's it. Nothing close to getting rich.

I started totally as a newbie, i start my earning from faucets, i started with only 1 or 2 faucets, because i had experienced being scammed by PTC site, so my trust level for earning from internet is low, but my trust finally regain after i successfully withdraw my satoshi, eventhough is not too much i feel excited, that was my first excited journey with bitcoin

When I finishing my project at college, I'm finding myself stuck so I need refresh my mind. Then I'm searching on google about my project reference and it lead into bitcoin. Afterward I keep searching until I find local thread that explaining about bitcoin and lead me into this forum !

When I started using bitcoin, It was not as much as difficult for me because I was looking for a fresh topic to introduce it on my technology blog. I didn’t started at that time but few months later when I had some bitcoin related domains then I joined this community and I got payment in bitcoin, till then I was using paypal and to be honest I found bitcoin is far user friendly then paypal or any other payment services. Whenever I had difficulties, bitcointalk community was always there to guide me so there were no major issues that I came across.
