By 2030, bitcoin will have completed 2 decade of time since its genesis block which means bitcoin might have grown as an adult from being kid till now. Adolescence phase is always known for its "too activeness" which can be expected from bitcoin as well by the times of 2030 Cheesy

No one would expect, that Elon Musk would start Bitcoin price growth last year, and you want to know what will be in 2030. I'll tell you what will be in 2030 - you will be 9 year older and Bitcoin will have a different value, than it has today.

That's what I was thinking too, 2030 is almost a decade away from now and I don't think that it's not right that we will be thinking about what's going to happen to bitcoin at that time because our expectations will not be happening and we would probably be sad about it anyways.

Even though we do have some nations that banned many aspects of the crypto world, I would say that there are also tons of places that support it by giving it some legality. For example miners may not be in China anymore because of the legal status but those machines are still somewhere right? Eventually miners will start popping up everywhere around the world and one place will be better than the rest and all miners will go there.

I still think Iceland is a major place because both renewable energy is a big deal there and you can have cheap electricity by having your own renewable energy system in place plus it is very cold (lol ICEland for a reason) so it would be a better idea. Long story short all those bans and so forth are faced with other nations that actually support crypto and help people using it, look at Germany they made it so legal that even banks use it.

I think the speculation in 2030 is too far for us to predict right now, I personally might prefer to calculate the estimated price of bitcoin every 4 years which coincides with the halving day, maybe later in 2024 the price of bitcoin will increase by around 1500% and most likely the price will break through $150K in my opinion, this cannot be separated from the adoption of bitcoin that is currently happening by several countries and also large companies and of course we realize that in today modern era the speed of financial transactions and investment assets is needed by everyone so that this makes bitcoin or other crypto the right choice.

We should never rely on thoughts, perspective, predictions of the others to make our decisions because the final result will depend on input parameters of specific person. Even 100 people use the same model, join at the same price but they will have different limit of period to keep their positions before they must close it.

Different position closing times decide gains or loses. Therefore, totally depend of influencers' opinion is bad.

Dunno, I don't think that it would be underachievement if bitcoin price is let's say 300k in 2030. I do think that most likely it will be higher than that (based on how price went up so far) but I wouldn't be disappointed or anything that if price is not at least 500k. Then again, I wouldn't be disappointed if by the end of the year BTC doesn't reach new all time high. I guess I am modest and more focused on the long term, ad I see these periods as a chance to acquire more BTC Cheesy

No one knows about what will be the price of bitcoin on the near future, all speculation is being done basing on the present market, so most of the speculation is in favor with the bitcoin and its price in the near future, most of the speculator believe that bitcoin will rise in the near future but i think it is all depend on the crypto community and maybe in government in the near future every actions of the government and investors may affect bitcoin price in the future.

That's 9 years from now at this current year and every 4 years there's a Bitcoin halving come, so there's supposedly a two Bitcoin halving come. The halving 4th was expected in 2024 and the fifth one is in 2028 and every Bitcoin halving comes there will be a new ATH come as the most anticipated event.

We've got less than 9 years until 2030 and that year will hit 2 halving. $1M is really possible and that's a high speculation and we're all hoping that it's going to be reached.
That's one of the dreams that the community have. But they're all right that 1 btc will remain as 1 btc regardless of the value it has in fiat. I guess by that time it's also interesting to know that fiat might be in high inflation by that time.

I would say that 1 million is quite possible and doing options for 1 million is not that crazy, as long as people do not put all their life savings into something like that I would totally understand the situation, nobody can say it will not happen. We can assume, we can say it may not happen, or we can say it may happen, but we can never speak like it is a guaranteed thing that it will or won't happen.

However 500k in next 5 years is a lot riskier nobody can say it won't happen neither but between 100k and 400k we are talking about 4 times bigger amount at the highest we have ever seen so I would assume that would be different.

Yeah, 10 years from here must be too far away and speculating something for such longer period may not produce appropriate contents as lots of future things we must need to consider and include for getting at least 50% accurate speculations. Still, I agree for anything above one million dollars by 2030.

Anyone is free to make their predictions and assessment of the value of BTC in 2030 but I feel it does not make sense to discuss pricing so far away right now. I even feel that predicting the price for the next year is quite a task and predicting price after the next 9 years right now is like throwing arrows in thin air.

I would be glad if we could maybe discuss what adoption and what places we would be able to use and pay with bitcoins in the far future. I am sure most of the online services will allow crypto payments, it is surely possible that most of them allow stable coins only because of the fluctuating nature of the BTC. There is a slight possibility that by 2030, crypto is considered a legal tender by all countries.

Although cryptocurrency is a speculated market but it hard to tell what the price of the Bitcoin market will be when it year 2030, by calculating the Bitcoin halving year, I believe the Bitcoin market will be in market correction season and it except it to be around $15K-$20K price range.

If ever things will get settled with regards to bitcoin, like the banning in China and the legalization in El Salvador, bitcoin's value will probably above $1M or $2M. If progress on showcasing bitcoin to the world will go well and proper specially on El Salvador's territory, the influence will grow rapidly and the demand will significantly increase. Nevertheless, we should first analyze how will bitcoin surpass the crisis it is currently facing right now, and once we completely break it down, we can start making assumptions on possible price prediction for bitcoin the next decade.
