It is not going to happen but I think that is what many of the new investors want to happen and it is what they are trying to force with the futures market of bitcoin, they are trying to crash the price so then they can buy for cheap and then make the price of bitcoin skyrocket again, but they are finding that suppressing the price of bitcoin is a lot harder than what they thought.

Yes depending on the cause of the crashed. The rise and fall in bitcoin prices is highly dependent on some of the news that comes on cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Because if it is only caused by some companies that do not use bitcoin as a transaction tool or some country prohibits bitcoin as a means of transaction it trusts some investors that bitcoin will not be worth anymore. Even in situations like this is very wanted by some investors to buy bitcoin because the price is cheap. But if the cause is caused by the system of bitcoin itself it is likely that users will sell and make bitcoin no longer valuable. While today the cause of the decline in bitcoin prices is only caused by some companies and countries, I am still convinced that bitcoin prices will recover again.

I think it will not drops to 1k but if the situation worsens, this time bitcoin may touch even to 3.5k. IMO and it's not good for community and newbies. This time much more people may be punished and maybe they will not ever come back into bitcoin market. Very dramatic situation is now. But I hope that the market will be recovered before the disaster happen.

yes bitcoin always recover after the dip and actually it always happened , and indeed that price is so cheap and it is a big opportunity to buy . And for sure there's lot of investor and holders will buy back to hold and will wait until the price rocketed again, so there's a possibility to soar again because of the demand from the holders and investors which is the main reason Also why the price always pumping back after the dump.

That'll be a very tough test for a HODLer if bitcoin's market value will plummet down to 1K USD. If it is possible, then i will HODL still and wait for the last dip it can get and I am quite sure that I will buy the dip too.

I'm not sure about the short term but certainly on the longterm BTC will go up to at least 100k, $500k is possible too. Sometimes i hope it goes down more so I can buy more, don't have much fiat left though.

I have faith in bitcoin but just up to a certain level. I do not think it will drop to that level anymore, but if it does, I think many will lose faith on it. That is why I am preparing for the worst. I have investments on some promising coins out there. It is better to be prepared than sorry when it does happen.

I don't think that bitcoin could possible drop to $1K levels because we have someone to back us up, that is Japan.

Plus, there are a lot of investors, big and small, financial institutions that has so much at stake and I don't think that they will simply allow the price to drop to that kind of levels.

But in any cases, it goes down to even below $1K, I think it can still survived, it might take that long though, but I don't think it will simply die a natural death.

What are you even talking about? For the drop to 1000 all the development that happened in the last 2 years would have to be nullified. Japan and Korea would have to ban Bitcoin, there would have to be no further adoption, millionaires who are heavily invested would have to sell. I just don't see it happening at any point. This is a growing economy with a huge potential that we're talking about here.

That would surely dealt a devastating blow to the psychology of most traders and a good number might want to embark on terminal leave. However, I don't see any of that having half a chance because this is 2018 and the cryptocurrency world have actually moved on since the last time Bitcoin passed that road, These days, there' re obviously a lot more stake holders in Bitcoin than couple of years back, when Bitcoin was still trying to gain acceptance.

No one exactly would know what will happen with bitcoin, well in my opinion before it will hit $1k, I think I already sold my bitcoin because the last time bitcoin drops for about $7k, I already sold it and did not wait for the price to go down more. Grin

Maybe I don't have that strong personality so that I sold it immediately just like that.

Did you mean that bitcoin prices fell to under $ 1000?
But I think it will all continue to recover with time. Basically the bitcoin stock is limited to only about 21 million.
The fewer bitcoins and the more people who need them the more they will increase. Even many people predict it will be worth $ 100,000.

I don't really think that bitcoin price will drop below $1,000. But if that will happen, then it could be the end of bitcoin and it will continuously dropping until it's price goes to zero. Because it's really a big and serious problem of bitcoin if that scenario will actually happen, and i don't think that it can still recover to its deep. But there's no need to worry about mate, it's impossible to happen, because the population over the bitcoin community continuously growing and more countries are already legalized bitcoin.

There are simply too many scenarios, if bitcoin crashed because a flaw was found in the technology then it is very likely it is never going to recover and will eventually reach zero, but if it is a manufactured crash created by the whales or some other entity then the price will recover, we do not know when that could happen but I will take the opportunity to buy bitcoin and wait for that day.
