Looks like your already credited in your wallet. as my experience before it takes a long time before i receive and credited in my wallet because i am paying 100 satoshi for testing but it takes a long time before it confirm i think 3 days.. so i think if your transaction getting long time to confirm it will still arrive to your wallet. but i heard before someone sending 10k satoshi without paying a fee he didn't receive and never credited in his wallet..

I am really scared to see one of my transaction not getting confirm within 2 hour now, i have paid around 0.12+BTC which is 55$ for deposit via bitpay. But this transaction is not yet confirmed and i have also payed 20000 satoshi as fee.

I am so worried, but i remember if it can't get confirmation after 24 hour it get returned. IS this true? please reply i am so scared. Cry Undecided

EDIT: transaction get confirmed after 261 minute but that make problem with deposit as neteller said Transaction request expired. Bitpay says neteller accepted it. Waiting for neteller reply now. Feeling scared to use bitpay accepting service again. Huh

EDIT: I just get my neteller account credited today. Thanks neteller and bitpay for their extremely super support. I got my money today feeling happy  Cheesy Cheesy

This happened to me earlier. My deposit took 6 hours before it arrives on my deposit address. Don't be bother if this happens to you again, You just need to give it a time to be confirmed by blockchain.

I have an unconfirmed transaction sitting in limbo since 5/9/2016. Nothing has returned to my wallet / account.

The transaction ID has dropped off the radar everywhere I've checked:

Transaction ID: 1be2fdb7716ec211ab8aaf65f3433285d80f204c65f029ae4a082be83bb34082-000

I was emptying out the last of an old account and sending it to another account of mine using Bitcoin Core, an older version, and had not looked to see what the transaction fee was set to, and apparently it's too low. Transaction was for 0.10011500 BTC, with a fee of 0.0000146 BTC. The account was seldom used and had worked fine apx three months ago, so I had no reason to adjust anything.

It appears I'm just out the money with no recourse.

I only dabble here and there, and once the little usb mining nodes became outdated, I stopped mining.

Is there anything I can do to recover this money? It not the end of the world, but $68 bucks still buys a couple of tanks of gas....

A simple answer is that: if a transaction is not confirmed within few days the amount of bitcoin will be send back to the sender.

miners are getting greedy when a 9cent fee only gets you medium priority (within 6 blocks)

MoFo's

i think at some point the low fee, which right now is a great selling point, will soon not be its selling point anymore when pools are getting very picky.

yep
when bitcoin hit the $100 value miners should have dropped the fee from 0.0001 to 0.00001.. but no.. they kept it. then as the price rose to $450 a fee was 4.5cents..
did miners drop it.. nope. now they want fees of 0.0005 (22 cents)

I have sended it thourgh blockchain.info so it it get back after being unconfirmed do it try to resend it back to same address ? Than i think bitpay will reject my payment. Opps feeling like i just lost 55$ hard earned.  Cry

you havent lost it.. it either goes through or gets returned.. bitcoin never magically vanishes into thin air

What's the longest a TX could sit in the mempool before it's returned. Is there a certain number of blocks?

This will either take a good amount of time and might get confirmed, or else the funds will get back to your address...
This is what happened when I too did such transactions with low fees once...

I never have these issues... I bump the fees and my transactions goes through very fast. I can understand your frustration and would not want this to happen with people who

might be new to Bitcoin. They might lose faith in the technology, if they had to wait 3 to 5 days for a transaction to "cancel" their purchase.

I play around with faucets linked to Xapo in my free time and when I have enough accumulated funds, I transfer it via the blockchain to my main accounts to cover my miners

fee's { So these faucets pay for my miners fee's } Just do not send it directly... that will just create "dust" and your transactions might even cost you more.  Roll Eyes

It's your fault you paid such a low fee. Take a look at
At the size of your transaction, and use cointape.com to estimate. If your poor, use the amounts in the orange section. If you want it to go through super fast, you then can use the ones in the green slots.

Although I believe Netteler shouldn't have any expiry times.

don't pay so high fee, they are not always worth it, it's all about chain priority and how much fee are payed before you etc...

i usually pay the very minimum in each transactions, 1k is sufficient most of the time

Transaction gone through after 261minute but like i have scared of neteller declined it saying Transaction request expired.
Now when i contacted bitpay they say neteller has accpeted that payment so they will credit it within one day but waiting for neteller reply now.

Still my money is in lost between neteller and bitpay. Embarrassed Roll Eyes

So potentially you could be scammed if somebody sent you a payment with 0 fees, the transaction would end up coming back, i suppose thats why its best to always wait for confirmations before being sure that you have actually received the payment. Wonder how this will work once fees go up when user adoption is higher.

Don't worry. Your transaction will eventually be processed. It may take up to 3 to 4 days but it will end up where you want it!

Well if you want it to send faster you can try to use higher fees Tongue
Anyway, your Bitcoin should arrive in a few hours depending on your fee Wink
But if it become unconfirmed it will be send back to you again so you will lose nothing Smiley
