I think that these predictions will come true.

Anything can happen nothing can be told about Bitcoin the way it is moving no one can tell when it will start to correction or how much up it will go. I dont hold much as i am earning bitcoin freely i just keep some part and balance i just convert them to fiat currency and use it.

Well, no body can tell what exactly will happen to bitcoin in 2020. This because the market value of bitcoin might go lower from what it is currently or go higher above the current value but not to the turn of your $100,000 in just less than four years to come.

It's over ambitiousness to think bitcoin can reach that far within the next 3 years. Even if we get to 10k$ i don't think it will easily grow past it that much within 3 years span if the whole world were to adopt and invest in bitcoin.

it's definitely impossibile that btc will hit 100k in 2020.

It's simple. Price can't rise on this rate for so much time...it's simply too much. I will be surprised if it will hit 20k.

Unfortunately, we are not able to predict Bitcoin price. We even don't know what will happen after upcoming SegWit2x hard fork. I would be satisfied if Bitcoin was worth $10k by the end of the year and it is possible. $100k is indeed possible but 2020 isn't too soon? We have to have some time to buy more BTC. I doubt that many people will be able to buy 1 Bitcoin in the next year.

At $100,000 BTC marketcap would be 2,000,000,000,000 (if we assume 20 million coins). The world economy in 2014 was estimated to be 107 trillion in purchasing power, so that would equal roughly 1.89% of the world-economy - not taking into account the growth rate of the world economy. Do we think that is feasible is the question?

Op it is highly unlikely for Bitcoin market value to reach $100,000 by 2020. Although everybody is entitled to his or her opinion, but I see it as just mere speculation that the probability is very close to zero. And if it eventually happen by 2020 it then means that 1 shatoshi will be almost equivalent to $1, if Bitcoin market value Will reach $100,000.

We must not forget that if the rise of bitcoin is exponential today, there is bound to be a moment when it will become asymptotic, once all the potentially interested capital will have entered into it... Money is not infinite. Especially since it would mean that the alt market also represents several thousand billions of dollars... Anyway, that's way too much money in this system. On the other hand, a bitcoin at 30.000$ why not, but its dominance will probably be less in the future and fortunately!

The currency should be stable while BTC is unstable.
For example overnight BTC prices can up / down to 9 jt / more .. With the up and down period can last long.
If it fits nicely but if it fits down?
For example, early morning 1 BTC the price of Rp 36 million so X satoshi can be used to pay for meatballs at Rp 20 rb. Apesnya, afternoon-2 weeks later 1 BTC price down to 26 million. The seller of automatic meatballs the next day is overwhelmed because his satoshi can not be enough for sales the next day.
Therefore there are those who think BTC can not be a currency.

Honestly, if bitcoin goes that big that quickly (yes, that quickly) no one will want to touch it. not really fond of this insane rally we have been experiencing this past year, this is not sustainable and I can only hope that we would check this growth by this point. despite how ridiculous a value increase this is (this is extremely improbable, but I would have said the same about the price a few years ago), the main thing is that folks just wont let that much profit go untaken. say I purchased coins at 1000. There is no way in hell I am still on this train at 100K. I probably liquidated at 10K-20k Grin

do you understand how much innovation would have to happen in the next few years to even remotely justify this price prediction Huh

100 000$ by 2020 seems very optimistic, I would rather wait until 2030 to see that kind of price. 2020 is just in two years. And while we grew from 500$ to 7500$ in the past two years, the road to 100 000$ is way too long for me.

The price of Bitcoin has increased tremendously over the past few months. So maybe what you say is not impossible, because no one will know what happened in 2020. nobody can predict exactly, but we all know that there will be improvements that occur for some time to come. the majority is a positive increase so at least we will benefit. so I conclude that when we dare to take the risk to buy Bitcoin at this time then we will get the benefits and profits in the future when selling Bitcoin that we store in the wallet.

Yes, me too, and hopefully we are not far from that point. I think Bitcoin has all the chances to hit $10k in the first half of 2018 if the rising with the current pace continues.

$100,000 per coin in 2020 is highly unlikely, but I wouldn't be surprised much if the price hit $20,000 that year.
