No doubt that the price of bitcoin is raising , as more people are getting knowledge about bitcoin more are they taking interest , the more are they investing , the more is price boasting. And it will keep on going because it is providing ease and the people are favoring it . So there are possibilities that bitcoin will hit the mentioned price in 2020.

Well it's hard to believe or to hope for that amount in 3years. Even though i'm.hoping for that to come true, 100k perhaps is a bit too high already. Let's keep it modest. Even if bitcoin sustains it's rate, it will still be hardpressed to reach 6 digits in 3 years

As we see the trend of the price of bitcoin, the price is increasing fast. That would be possible. As you notice, that the price of Bitcoin now is $6,000 plus and still keep on increasing, because of the demand by the million of investors around the world. So for now, you better to place now, before they exceed again their record. Don't wait to get back to it's lowest price because that might be possible due to demand of Bitcoin. You just be patient when trading Bitcoin.

depends on market's demand but I think it's not possible. Bitcoin has a lot of potential but its not to that degree. I don't think in a mere 3 years it will rise to a incredibly large amount. In my opinion, i think bitcoin will only rise up to $20,000/30,000.

If it's going as like this up to 2020 there is a chance to get it up to $ 100,000 dollars per bitcoin .But I'm afraid that within this duration of years there is a chance to appear another digital currency as an opponent.On that time' if bitcoin can't survive then the result must be in vise versa .Fix bitcoin bugs and keep transparency and loyalty over bitcoin holders is the only way to survive this situation.

no one can "predict" the future and by the way most of the "speculators" say price will be either 1 million dollar or $500,000 by 2020.

and specially since we will have another block halving, which means the supply rate of bitcoin will be half of what it is now and with the demand increasing every day we can expect a big rise by then and a bigger follow up afterwards. and with the current rate that bitcoin is being adopted and the price of rising as the result, we can see how $500K is possible.

indeed some of us predicting that bitcoin will reach 100,000 dollars some in 2020, 2025 so on and so forth but bitcoin can never get 100,000 in short time indeed bitcoin price soared from 1000 this january 2017 to 6000 all time high this month but the market is so unpredictable we don't know that bitcoin can rise even high or it will crash or it will stay as it is and also bitcoin will never reach 100,000 per coin because it will be expensive for us small holders to buy it. i know we can buy half or 1/10000 of the coin but the transaction fees of course it will be high in terms of dollars

It has been discussed several times through the forum and the media, but masterluc the "legendary Bitcoin trader", who predicted the bear market in 2014/2015 and also stated that the bullish trend will start again in 2017, posted, that it is very possible that BTC will reach a price $40k to $110k at the end of this run in 2019. This is due to the fact that BTC is currently growing "healthily", as it did not go vertical, which is a common sign of a total bubble or pump'n'dump. However, not sure, what happens, if such a price is achieved, it is very likely, that the price has to correct first.

I think its not possible. Bitcoin has a lot of potential but i think its not to that degree. I dont think in a mere 3 years it will rise to a incredibly large amount. In my opinion, i think bitcoin will only rise up to 30,000 - 50,000 dollars in 3 years and that was already pretty huge amount. No one could accurately predict what will be the amount in 2020 because we don't know what will happen but also it is not bad to have hope, but not totally huge that you will cling to it because it could produce a huge impact to you mentally.

Yup there is a high possibility for bitcoin going over there at those levels. Atfirst I am expecting the bitcoin crossing $8000 by this year ends and then if i bought bitcoins then i will hold for that target for $10,000 in coming years. Right now the Bitcoin chart analysis says that the demand is having strong possibility of rising than supply with expansion in volatility and increase in momentum, which will be good for the bitcoin traders and that will bring our target of 100k soon in coming years.

Each and everyone is having very high hopes of seeing the price of bitcoin reaching astronomical figures,the problem we will be the facing will be the high transaction fees when the prices goes high,just imagine spending a couple of hundred dollars per transaction Tongue

so let there be a situation when the transaction fees goes down and i would like to see the price reaching five figures.

As bitcoin user it's naturally to expect value bitcoin to rise, from day to day or year to year. We know what happened bitcoin value in 2009, and compare to this year bitcoin value. I think that is hope to will happen.

This is my first post on this forum, let me tell you that bitcoin has chances to go $100,000 levels but i can't tell you whether it will hit by 2020 or by 2030 because the price it needs to cover is really a long distance but in short period of time, so i think it will take some more time atleast by 2025 to go to 100k price levels. but for now i am sure to some extent that it will cross the 10k price levels by the year 2017 ends, lets see where does it goes and how much time does it takes to reach that level.

Bitcoin can sure go beyond that amount even millions of dollar if we can give prior years waiting for it to go there that is not impossible with bitcoin we can see that it is still going up and had reach the $6300 value what more in the future seeing a sudden increase in the price, many had sure astonish with the increase but I think this is just normal when it comes to Bitcoin and as amazing as it is we can sure see that kind of increase in the future.

There is a chance. However, with the value you mentioned. I don't think it would reach that high, its prevailing value now of $6,000 took years, considering that you only have two years lefts until 2020 that much of an increase would be impossible. Unless, there are factors that would affect the market trends like more and more countries recognizing it and using it in their market systems.

I hope it will raise to an higher level, but this is pure speculation. No one knows if it is stable the next years as it was this year.
It is also a possibility that it will decrease and a lot of money is lost. So there will also be a risk, but i think it will reach higher as it is now until 2020.

I doubt it if bitcoin makes 100,000$ in the year of 2020 yes i know that the bitcoin is really expensive and really fast in rising up. But if that some not good happen like big drop again and sometimea bad news about bitcoin i dont think if it really make. Cause we know the bitcoin is fluctuating. But if that happens, yeah ! I really recommend you to see how the graph of bitcoin price show that the increase of bitcoin price just so significant.
$100,000 dollars is not a miracle for bitcoin, all I see is that bitcoin always increase based on its percentage to the current price,if its increase for about 200% in just 2 years, then we just make it to $15,000.

As of now the price of bitcoin is 6200 dollars and Im ver happy for that and I hope it will increase more so those people have bitcoin in their wallet can earn a lot of profit. But 100k dollars in the year of 2020 is very impossible to happen because that price is very big. And I think if that happen it takes few years or 5 years before they reach that and the percentage to happen is very low.
