I saw somewhere picture, about how people from early 1900's thought world would look like in 2000. Well they were not quite accurate. They were thinking we will have flying cars by now, and many other crazy things such is learning in school with some machines attached directly to head. But I think that their prediction is going to be true in 100 years from now. Or atleast close to that.
Who knows what the world will be, if there will be one, but I dare say there still would be in only 100 years, but one thing I hope there is, and that is jetpacks!! Though I won't be around for it. When I was growing up, jetpacks were on sci fi shows etc and everyone used to say, in the future, you know around the year 2000 (which to a 15 year old in 1985 seemed like forever away), we will all be flying around with one of those. That was how we would get around, go to work, to the shops, etc. Sooo disappointed that I am not flying around in a jetpack hey!!

I'm perfectly sure that there will be no planet called earth 100 years later. Humankind is completely ruining out beautiful spectecular beloved planet. We are consuming natural resources for the sake of our desires but This behaviours will bring end to humankind for sure.

I'm even scared to imagine what can happen in 100 after the development of technology. Perhaps people will look like some kind of bullet-proof warriors and will go through intergalactic wars.
I do not know this world will be what 100 years later but my opinion there will be a world war that will happen 100 years later that will result in this world will be destroyed.
I think after 100 years, this world will destroy. Nowadays there is a news about the world war III between the north Korea and America. So imagine after 100 years, the technology will improve into powerful weapons that can destroy a country. And pollution can already kill many people because of the people who are using chemicals that can harm the earth.
I do not know this world will be what 100 years later but my opinion there will be a world war that will happen 100 years later that will result in this world will be destroyed.

The world will become a world full of technologies that have so many advantage and disadvantages. Those new creations of humans will sure affect our mother nature. And the result will be a world for humans only and not for the other living things and creature that makes the world wonderful will be gone.
The technological advance has made the human life more easier. And this will continue in the future as well. Even for nature, the advance of technology has been mostly positive. For example, we no longer need to cut down trees to producer paper, as the books are mostly in ebook and kindle format now.
Ten years from now, the earth have changed in a way we can't even imagine. Probably robots are all around. People thinks and talk differently. The world is in famine full of cries and hunger all around. I can see a dark future on earth. Climate change has affected the world as well significantly. Ice in the Arctic are melted and polar bears are dead. Water is not that clean and fresh. Everything revolves in technology. The world in the next few years.
The world will become a world full of technologies that have so many advantage and disadvantages. Those new creations of humans will sure affect our mother nature. And the result will be a world for humans only and not for the other living things and creature that makes the world wonderful will be gone.
I would like to think that the climate change will be more felt. Many disasters will come. People will be more greedy. People will be lazier than ever. Robots will be enhanced stealing jobs from humans. Life can be extended by money with limit. Humans will be foolish than ever will be pull further to what they are looking for. World will get tired of everything.
It could either be good or bad...
With a lot of conflicts at present time it might not be far from impossible that a world war may happen within the 100 years period...

But if countries somehow managed to prevent any war from arising between nation then we could have a more modern and polluted world...

We can not exactly tell what will happen after 100 years, we are all probably not in this planet anymore. Maybe, the theory that Mars is livable will be true when that time comes.
Hard to say, but in 100 years, I image we will finally get those flying cars...

100 years from now, we don't even know if people are still living and if earth is still existing during that time. Earth is little by little destroyed because of human activities, war around the world, pollution, nuclear plantation, population growth, animal extinction, deforestation, etc. So, it's quite hard to imagine earth 100 years from now.
I think in 100 years the earth will be in a migrating phase. Many folks (by the millions) will be leaving the planet each year and those that stay will be considered 2nd class citizens compared to those who can afford to leave.
We're pumping too much into the world in terms of simply -> change. We changed with cars, engines for boats, planes, space craft, war has become so much more violent, food so much more mass produced, even people alone went from most of the humanity is less than 1,000,000,000 people on earth while today we have almost 8,000,000,000 people chilling on this rock. That alone is a huge increase. What goes up, must come down.

I think 100 years from now, people would advance in terms of technology and inventions, however, at that time I think earth will be ruined. There's no fresh water, natural resources would be too scarce to provide earth's population with what they need, space for people to dwell will not be enough and earth will be polluted.
I think we wont reach civilisation type 1 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kardashev_scale )...with the Internet we have sth created... a sort of communication for the next houndred years...but we are not able to use the energy recources of our own planet ...to many powerful people following their own interests...starting war for making more money on the small mans back...pumping billions into war machinery...i red that we use 16% green ernergy on our planet...thats ridicoulous! we are on the edge of makin or breakin!
But people starting to recognise about corrupt systems and stand up but i guess that is already too late...i hope that we will make it! But not with people like trump, assad, putin or erdohan...that will be our downfall!

I completely agree with you, And if we do not destroy ourselves, then the Planet will wipe us off the face of the earth. If you look at what is happening in the world today, all the cataclysms and a lot of epidemic, then it seems to me that humanity is not so much.But people starting to recognise about corrupt systems and stand up but i guess that is already too late...i hope that we will make it! yeah...the only thing we can do is start at ourselves trying to make a amall change....while we are all chasin paper to make a better living while we are here on earth...we have amazing technology but WTF is it worth??
we dont need to search for new planets...than we are just like a desease...destroying life space after life space...if we put all the money they invest in weapons and those stupid controlled media shit into science and new green energys...that would be a deal! but i dont see that happen...
we are here on earth...such a beautiful space! but capitalism destroyed it all....i guess since the mid 18xx it went wrong....powerful families control in the background and we follow like ants....facebook here, big brother there, stupid television....damit its over for us!!!
