If Bitcoin officially becomes a legal currency, I believe that most countries will switch to this crypto currency, as their national one. Bitcoin will favorably affect the economy. Even being "illegal", it helps to reduce the level of unemployment. I am sure that Bitcoin will be able to bring the world to a qualitatively new level.

If Bitcoin becomes a legal currency, then the other fiat currencies such as the Japanese Yen, United States Dollar, Russian Ruble.etc will die as slow death. This is due to the fact that Bitcoin is protected from inflation (due to the principle of controlled supply), while the fiat currencies are prone to inflation. So why should anyone use a currency which is not protected against inflation, when he has the choice of using BTC?

It would be interesting to read if some of the people from Japan would share their experiences on the ground reality as they have made it legalized and how things are shaping up before and after making it legal in their country. In basics it would be if it become legal people will be more confident that they would not get duped easily, more business will come and start accepting the btc, demand will certainly rise ,more and more people even start investing in it.

Here is my point of view:
It would be great if we could use bitcoin as a legal currency because it would unify nations financially by using only one currency for online transaction, however, since bitcoin has no exact value it would be difficult to use. Even if we consider satoshi as the form of payment, it will still be questionable because of price computation. Also, there is a limited supply of bitcoin so I don't think everyone can have the chance of acquiring one.

There are advantages and disadvantages when bitcoin became a legal currency.
Of course the price of bitcoin will be more expensive, more people who will use the bitcoin even that dubious about bitcoin will use it.
But the disandvantages the government will make part of it and they will take taxes from bitcoin usage.

One of the reasons Bitcoin was made was so we don't pay taxes to a third party (government) that then uses them to buy guns, war machines and surveillance equipment and puts a % of your taxes in private pockets due to inability of traditional accounting to 'account' for cash flow. Crypto-government run on smart contracts, full-transparency, I can see using crypto as main token of value but I imagine the future as small(er) communities using local crypto (e.g. BerlinCoin, UKCoin...) and connecting to the worldwide market via a standard, but I doubt BTC, more probably Ether as it is a platform on which local values can be made (so it is of value to the local community).

If all goverments accept this i think the value of bitcoin will increase rapidly because theres a lot of people will going to invest here in bitcoin because they know that bitcoin investment is the best way to earn more money in the future.

We can benefit a lot if ever bitcoin will become legalized worldwide. We are all experiencing these benefits but still we should consider the fact that it is not as easy as we think it is. There are a lot of innovations needed to be made first before applying the legalization to avoid unnecessary events. The capability of bitcoin to handle large number of people is not yet much improved so it is better to wait first on what may happen in the future and avoid rushing things.
