We can't stop the fud that will be flowing through the market, but we can think without jumping on every bit of news that we read nowadays. I honestly believe that Satoshi's ancient coins are no threat to Bitcoin in any way. I strongly believe that the coins people are afraid of, are burned due to the ethical fact that Satoshi wouldn't want to abuse his economical advantage over the rest of the market, and the fact that no one will ever be able to identify himself as Satoshi. No private keys = no possible way to prove anything = best outcome for everyone here.
Imagine, it happened years and years ago, all with the knowledge to let Bitcoin grow to what it is today. And it did. Without Satoshi we wouldn't be here and we would still be subject to governments and banks terrorizing our lives. This is also the first ever time that a normal person can generate a tremendous amount of wealth which else wouldn't be possible.

1. a lot of FUD about how Satoshi would dump so a big price fall due to panic
2. some oldwounds discussions would start up again including the block size debate and all the drama with SegWit/BCash
3. more FUD thanks to #2 and more drop due to the panic induced by it.
4. eventually people would realize that bitcoin is not someshitaltcoin that is controlled by one person who snaps his finger and the coin changes, it is a proper decentralized network which is working based on consensus of the whole network not just one person.

But if we think deeply satoshi is only a generic that used by a group of people who originally created by a cryprocurrency business, and I don't think that name satoshi is only a one person, and I personally speculates that name satoshi are group of people who created cryptocurrency business. And until now no one knows where that name satoshi living because it is only a name used by the group of cryptocurrency creator.
But let's not forget: Satoshi wasn't infallible, he made many early mistakes which early Bitcoin devs discovered. His opinions are to be respected, but that doesn't mean he won't get things wrong.

He isn't perfect, and any flaw will be pinpointed by the media, and undoubtedly used for malicious purposes. For example, if we ever found out the identity of Satoshi, and he was linked to crime we would likely never hear the end of it in the news, and there would be extra leverage for countries to ban/regulate it.
Exactly. Satoshi's anonymity protects both the person/s and the Bitcoin concept: any personal details about who was behind Bitcoin will be amplified or exaggerated to be used by Bitcoin's competition. So it's best for everyone that Satoshi left, and never returns

I think that this simply can not be. Satoshi Nakmoto is unlikely to return, if he has not shown himself before, this he will not do in the future. And it was clear that during the activity on the crypto currency he had already taken certain measures to remain unidentified.
