When altcoin prices are dumped, the best thing to do is to hold the coins you have, do not rush to make a decision. Do your analysis and research first about the coin, if possible to recover then holding it is the right one if it is not possible then you can sell it to cut the greater losses.

There are a lot of behavioral factors to this fact, but before I even do it, I do all the analysis before buying and speculate with possible and real scenarios, so I usually know what to do when the market goes up or when the market goes down and even when it 'walks' aside... But answering your question, if I believe that this altcoin has value, there is no reason for me to worry.
Market always show up and down so when altcoin price going to dumped on the time I just hold my all cryptocurrency because I know, in a couple of days or months later market will be growing I just wait until market show Green Signal even if I need some money and I sold some token for my requirement. I am never blame with this cryptocurrency market because I know the market situation is unstable.
Its already happen in several weeks ago. Most altcoin price drop the bottom level. Ethereum price untill below $200 and others altcoin cut the price more than 90%. I am keep buying on some good altcoin and right now many of that altcoin already increasing the price
If you are sure that the token that dropped in price is reliable and think that it was a temporary fall, invest in these altcoins. Then wait for several months until the alts you have can start gaining again.

the main thing is not to buy falling knives, and wait for confirmation of the market reversal and then buy. it is very difficult to restrain the desire to buy on the cheap, but we must remember that the price can be even lower and then will be a losing position.

no one can know for sure the developments and prices in the future because it has become a risk in investing with cryptocurrencies, news about lost cryptocurrencies we often hear and see, but in reality we can still use cryptocurrencies to invest so what we think is our confidence or patience in investing Lately, we know the market price of altcoin weakened. I will continue to hold and wait for the market to recover. I will not sell my coin cheap. 
If the price dumps and your losses is becoming greater then I would advice that you hodl some more. Wait for the come back of your coin if you know it has the potential. Remember patience is a virtue. Therefore, patience determines how much successful you will be.
And what will be happening if the price of coin goes even lower than before? can you say that again? I meant that person must try to search another promising investment that can give you a lot of profit again dude. in fact that so many people are still saying about that anytime.
