Good afternoon,

I've been involved in Bitcoin for a few years, in 2014 while mining Bitcoin with ASIC I put for a while the graphs to mine Dogecoin, then as they worth hardly anything I forgot about them until a few days ago I got to thinking that maybe I had not changed them to Bitcoin (as I did with the rest of what I had mined).

The thing is that I started looking for the keys and I found 46,000 Dogecoins, I have changed 6000 to Shiba and I was thinking about changing another 20,000 to other Altcoins.

In principle it has occurred to me to put a part in Ether, another in Loopring and another in Solana and / or Cardano, also put a tiny part in DOGGGO in case the people who are following it make it go up to the moon.

Any opinion will be welcome.

I can also keep the Doges, I do not consider putting it in Bitcoin because I'm up to my eyebrows.

Thanks in advance for your wise advice.

Putting a part in ETH and Solana is the wisest decision you can make right now. These coins are among the top ranks in market cap with potential to go higher in price as "De-Fi" becomes more popular in the mainstream world. You were lucky to mine a decent number of Dogecoins back in the day when it was worth nothing, as now the craze has made it harder to profit from it. 20k DOGE is quite some money these days, so putting that into the right coins will help secure your financial future. Staking both ETH (when it goes live as ETH 2.0) and Solana would give you huge profits in the long term.

As a word of advice, never invest based on someone else's opinion or by following the hype. Otherwise, you'll be facing a huge risk of loss. Play your cards right, and you'll be on a road towards non-stop financial success. Just my thoughts Grin

You have some good money for making an investment. Although Doge is also a good one, but it's risky to hold DOGE. I suggest you If you like meme coins. Then hold 30% doge, and rest of them convert into some legit project that are very legit and potential. I suggest you to buy Polygon, Ada, SXP, Tomochain, CRV etc.

Also don't forget the trend, Right now NFT and metaverse are very trending.
You can buy some of them. Dont forget to do your own reserch.

The same what you are doing if I have that amount of dogecoin in my wallet I will exchange it in other altcoin to make it higher profit I will exchange it in Solana, Cardano and BNB this coins have good potential base on my analysis.
Not only based on your analysis but based on everyone's analysis in general that all the coins you mentioned are indeed have greater potential than Dogecoin although basically Dogecoin is also not so bad to own at this time.

my suggestion you can buy solana or BNB coins for long term with your doge.
because the current price of doge has reached its highest price and it is very difficult to expect it to be even higher in price. but if you are looking to a solana or BNB coin there may still be hope in the long term having a higher value.
but it all comes back to you who decide to get better in the long term

Hi, I'm back.

Doge is probably having a chance to pump about january, shiba is falling but can reach a new ATH (never make a 100X).

I'm making some research before taking a decision.

Almost sure I will buy some ETH, maybe some BNB and some of other projects that may have a chance to be really interesting in the near future.

For now I'll wait at least for one or two months.

When I finish my research I could share my decision.

Unfortunately doge continues to fall and it is difficult to reach ATH again, initially I thought DOGE will continue to skyrocket and can reach $ 1 in May, unfortunately when a lot of negative news made investors sell and made the price drop more than 2/3 from now, look at the position and opportunities future i will hold DOGE at least until december.

Cryptocurrency at the moment is very strongly embedded in our lives. And for that you need to be aware of all the events that occur in the cryptoindustry. If I had that amount of 20,000 DogeCoin. I would forget about her for another ten years or so. And upon the expiration of this period, my DogeCoins would bring me a very large income.

It is your choice, but I would suggest investing in Defi projects. Several ones have already seen success in this particular crypto space. Check Avalanche, Dot, Amp, and some new projects like CatenaX including gaming ones. Just diversify and always afford what you can lose.

You have several options now i would say. If you look at the current value of your Dogecoin then we are at around 4.400 $ which is a really nice amount of money. So you could put that money into a new and promising project and if you are lucky and you pick the right one then you can make a x10 with it or even more, but of course if you do that there is also a pretty big risk that you are choosing the wrong project and your money will be completely lost. You could also sell that Dogecoin and coins with it that generate some nice income through staking like Polkadot, Cosmos or Radix to get around 10% per year to your holdings on top is always nice.

If I was in your position then I would not trade Doge coin for SHIB because Shiba inu is a clone coin of Doge coin which was launched when the popularity of Doge coin increased just to gain momentum for SHIB coin, I think for now it is better to change all doge coin with Altcoins that are popular right now, because Altcoins are proven to be able to give us greater profits than meme coins.

Re: What would you do with 20,000 Dogecoins?
I will prefer to divide those Doge coins.
Although the price of Doge is decreased and still doesn't reach the ATH again like previously, maybe I will separate about 60% to convert to Bitcoin or Ethereum or BNB. I will sell some of my Dogecoins when in altcoins season coming.
And still keep some for long term investment.
I know that still keeping in Doge maybe too risky, but if the price can back to its ATH, it is very worthy.
what i will do is like you. Although there is a possibility that I will use 10 or 15% of the assets that I have for personal use, I will also exchange most of these assets into popular coins such as bitcoin or ethereum.
I understand why the OP invests in Shiba even though it's risky. well, chances are the OP still has hope that Shiba will actually make the same move as Doge. Yeah, I also think about that sometimes. however, what is certain is, the most likely I will invest in investments that are not so risky.

what i am not confident with OP's decision is he allotted a good amount to SHIB, which has very uncertain future as it is a meme token. anyway, it is his funds and he is free what he wants to do with his coin. lucky that he recover those dogecoins, i guess a lot of us ignored this old coin when it was still cheap.
i am with investing with btc, eth or bnb though. those are like rock solid to invest with. it is like you can never go wrong with those top currencies.
He might be a high risk taker.
He thinks of how meme coin pump so far very significantly and he considers probably about the profits to gain after pumping.
But yes, this is like gambling.
Investing in meme coin is very risky, although Shiba and Doge have been in the top coins in CMC, I personally will prefer to invest in coins that really have string fundamentals and also use cases.

Personally, I would continue to hold them for now. Elon Musk tweeted a short while back that improvements for DOGE are in the works, as the creators have confirmed they are working on upgrades. Along with that, I think I previously read that Elon's DOGE-1 will be launching next year. Don't know if that will have any impact on Dogecoin itself, but it could. Doesn't hurt to move it, but I personally think we could see DOGE go up some over the next year just based on some of the things Elon Musk has been talking about.

Don't forget to put it also on BNB, BNB is highly recommended to invest at this time, the price is also experiencing a correction today. Putting some of your dogecoin in BNB is a good investment for the future.

You sound as if you only invested in BNB. Investing in one cryptocurrency is a mistake. It is best to choose at least five. Of course, BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA or SOL are very good coins for investment, but I would also look for something in list of new projects related to, for example, VR.

I'll put that into bitcoin but as you don't like that option, you better keep that into its form. The peak of Dogecoin was quite high and it's not even there again.

If you believe that another ATH might come back to Dogecoin then you shall hold it again. But if not, just follow what you think is good without regret like trading it on Ethereum.
the best option is actually if you store in bitcoin or the best ranked altcoin, because it is true that the peak of doge will not necessarily be repeated in the future even though it is still holding up well at this time.

but in the end it all goes back to those who have, because everyone will only provide solutions, of course it is not certain that the options given will be well received because it returns to the choices that will be made.
It should always be bitcoin as the top choice.

And those that are hoping that dogecoin might go back to its former ATH. We don't know but just to be sure is that don't expect for the best for it.

You should've made a back up plan when you saw things didn't do accordingly.
I think the best option is, of course, to stick to bitcoin, but it doesn't close that there are quite a lot of good altcoins that can also be used as other options if bitcoin is already too high in price.

sometimes there is always another option, I totally agree with what you say, especially when we are dealing with a coin whose stability is very doubtful in the future.
It's okay to expect too much with coin doge by wanting to be able to get renewable ATH, but you must also be realistic in responding to this because we know everywhere that with coin memes there will always be a very high risk that can happen which should also be considered.

I totally agree with you, you will always make a backup plan if it really has to be done when things don't go as expected so you don't get disappointed and create losses that should have been avoided from the start.

The main thing is not to change too much for new tokens that are made by developers with one goal, namely to earn as much as possible and only for yourself. As far as I understand, you are well acquainted with this industry, so do not be fooled by beautiful slogans, but choose only what can bring profit in the future.
