Simple question. Between BTC and ETH what would you want to load up on right now if you could only choose one?

Personally I'd go with ETH, but that's because I already have a lot more Bitcoin than ETH.
I want to pick one but for me I rather have both cause we dont know which one will be dominant on the future and Im sure either of these two is a good pick especially eth which has been used a lot lately due to the nft hype. Minting nft on eyh network is something most traders are being hyped now.

I love both coin and Im gonna accumulate slowly these two monster cryptocurrency project.

I'd probably stick with both if I can. If I was forced to pick between the two though I'd probably go for BTC. ETH seems like a nice investment to go on to but I'd prefer Bitcoin all the way since I've had my fair share of experience with it. I've used ether for my transactions here and there but it hasn't really stuck with me whether I should split my currently low monthly investment into both portfolios, doens't seem worth it so I'm sticking to one till I can manage to increase my monthly investment or till I get a pretty satisfactory amount in BTC (which would take a long time I think).

BTC

I don't buy Ethereum because of ideology. It's a centralized shitcoin, huge premine, Vitalik's ethics are questionable, much of it runs on Infura, so when it goes down Ethereum doesn't work. Unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum's blockchain can be reversed, as it happened in 2016.

Also Ethereum Developer Vitalik Buterin Sold 25% Of His Coins

Compare that to Satoshi.

Ethereum is a shitcoin with quite a bit of strength that looks like it can deliver good returns just like some other shitcoins will but I prefer to focus on supporting a decentralized, autonomous, irreversible system that is limited in nature (deflationary).

Bitcoin is my choice, but I would consider buying ETH if the price is below $2,000 or $1,500 because that will be a good price to buy as many ETH as I can. But bitcoin is the main coin that I am willing to buy as I believe that the price will rise more than ETH.

The other reason why I choose bitcoin is that bitcoin still leads the crypto market. It would be a good time to buy more bitcoin because ETH still holds the price not to go down for deep.

Bitcoin prices can be either considered as underpriced, or at the right valuation. But with a market cap of >$300 billion, the same can't be said about Ethereum. ETH is facing a lot of competition from other chains, and users are not happy with the delays, security issues and very high transaction fees. The long term outlook definitely looks bleak for Ethereum, no matter what it's developers want us to believe. ETH 2.0 rollout was also a gigantic flop. Ethereum's time is up and it's no.2 position is under serious threat.

You are answering your own question with a different basis than I thought. I was thinking you would choose based on their features, potentials, future adoption, etc. But of course it also matters that you want to diversify a bit your crypto portfolio.

If I were to choose between the two, I would choose Bitcoin. But just like you, I don't want to simply choose one between Bitcoin and Ethereum. I believe these two projects have a long way to go and I don't want to miss the day when BTC and ETH become more precious than they are today.

Welcome back 🙏
Surely bitcoin would be my first choise without any doubt. I cannot put any other altcoin infront of bitcoin because it the root of all the other cryptos and no other coin is going to overtake it ever. Yes ethereum is the second best coin but bitcoin will always be on top .

Interesting question, I don't use Ether at all, however, in saying that I've found myself buying a few Tokens recently and have found myself in need of ETH, so I've bought a few hundred dollars worth to fund transfers (and the purchase) via online sites.

Ooverall as an investment, I'm leaning towards bitcoin simply because that's the bulk of my holdings.

It's just going to really depend on your risk appetite. ETH has higher potential price increase due to the albeit low-key "dangerous" development, whereas BTC simply has the best risk:reward ratio as an investment.

Personally, why not both? You really don't need to stick to one asset. But if you'd put a gun to my head and make me choose one, I'd go with BTC.

For me i would choose Bitcoin rather than Ethereum, because any other crypto even Ethereum is relying on Bitcoin stands on the market, if Bitcoin will fall any other crypto will fall also, that's why i must prefer Bitcoin rather than Ethereum.

All I have eth for at the moment is to pay gas for things like usdt. I have a feeling the eth price will drop when the staked eth are released and eth will likely drop anyway over the next few months if bitcoin strengthens - as I'm thinking it will.
