I need to let someone here know this not only for newbies.
Yes we know it's not only for newbies, not only newbies get scammed, but from the people have seen that have been scammed, most of them are newbies so I believe newbies are vulnerable to be been scammed. newbies are new to cryptocurrency so most of them have not read about all this scam format before so they can easily fall for it.
In telegram group, when different account chat you and asking to help you then you know they are seeing a new catch or prey to eat up, run away. Admin is the only account to respond to with care because you don't have to believe everything you hear.
On Telegram when you post in a group, maybe you needed a help, lot's of people will change their Telegram name to admin or customer service and they will private chat you, don't believe anybody that message you on Telegram, if you post in a group seeking for help then the admin will reply you on the group chat and won't private chat you, so anybody that private chat you, just report and block the user, all of them are scammers trying to scam you.
Another way you can avoid being scammed is to delay your "intending scammer" on the information they require you to give. Scammers don't like for you to delay them , they want you to be easy and fast in giving in so take your time and delay them you must find out something to tell you run away or to know if it is genuine.
Scammers are always desperate, so they always want you to do what they want instantly maybe they don't want you to do more research so that you won't discover that they are scammer, they don't want any delay, they always want to get things done instantly, that's why whenever you see someone disturbing you to do a particular thing, then you have to be careful.

I appreciate your concern, but there's nothing that you've said here that is new, the only difference is that you said it in a different way.

Don't be in the party and try to pull the MC down. Every MC has ways to deliver what he has and surely not to the satisfaction of all people watching or audience.

You can consider yourselves as a better MC but also not to the satisfaction of everyone, not every one will dig your style. Don't go criticizing to make up post count, you didn't cover scam scope yourselves. You don't know if I hear someone being scammed around me and feel to remind us on scam. It is not new and not old yet it continues without a particular scope or style.

The point of all that has been discussed above is to always be vigilant against scammers regardless of how they act. They (scammers) are always looking for ways to find their victims, we must always realize they are not too stupid to be scammers. Need some prevention methods so as not to get stuck with what they offer.
Never give an opportunity to a scammer to reap something valuable that we have, a careful attitude is an obligation for anyone to protect their assets. No matter how many assets are owned, it is not a measure because the security of the data or assets owned is a top priority that must be protected.

There are so many ways to avoid scam because there are also a hundred ways to scam. But if we are talking about scam attempts through communication, may it be through your mobile number, email, Telegram, Twitter, and others, you just need to ignore any message or call from people you don't know or those you aren't expecting to hear from. That's just basically it.

The bigger problem that you really need to worry about and probably seek direct help is when you privately raise a ticket or ask for assistance and then somebody sneaky suddenly came out of nowhere offering you a suspicious deal. When this point comes, consider abandoning the platform right away.

you should first learn that nothing is for free in internet, you may get a lot of offers and promises of winning reward doing nothing and at the end they ask you to pay some fees to get those reward or free money, once you pay you are scammed and they disappear. scammer now days are very smart and talented to trip you they always manipulate and find gaps where they make you believe their story. to avoid them you need to always edit your privacy so no stranger can reach your profile and social media account. like in twitter or telegram now its like the land of scammers. using unknown exchanges to trade or transfer your money also may get you scammed especially dex exchangers. my advice is to never trust anyone on the internet. and use also an escrow for your transactions and trades

This is not new to us as we all know that scammers do their best to convince you and fall Into their trap, also Scammers nowadays evolve a lot, even in personal scammers are formal or let's say based on the way how they speak it looks like they are more knowledgeable so other thinking that they are legit. And Additional online nowadays is very risky because scammers focus online so what we must do is be vigilant and not give our trust easily.

Once a man, twice a child!
If there is anything difference/discrepancy from what they told you from what the information is then push further, you may find something and what you will find will help you not to be scammed.
This is a very salient point but sadly a whole lot of people tend to over look it. Overlook it in the sense that they come up with an excuse that it was a slip. Once I sight a discrepancy in what is said and that which I see on the site or on the social media handle of that same business, that will be to scamper to safety for me.

Yes, this day most admins on telegram have that caveat – admin will never pm you first – to their tags. Yet there are people who still over look it and respond to random pms. Wisdom isn't for everyone, honestly.

True. Delay tactics breaks scammers easily because they're always fixated on the prize money from their inglorious and scam acts and would quickly want to redeem it.

Scammers are not supposed to be very successful if not for the ignorant newbies. Scammers has similar methods and approach and we have known them all. Whenever they device a new method, it will also not be difficult to understand. Someone who is trying to scam you is seriously in the jot seat and should be the one to fave pressure. You can only and easily fall prey if you are a newbie and also if you are greedy.
Nobody is willing to help anybody make money, they are all scammers. The earlier we understand this, the better for all of us.
Not only they are innocent and not only for newbies but this is also possible for greedy people who just always thinking about increasing their money fast. In fact, the Ponzi scheme is not new in the market but guess what, there are still a lot of people who become a victim of this belief in something unrealistic promises. Because if you are really in your mind and not greedy, you will certainly not fall into that known scam trick.
I'd say, it is our own decision, we can't influence others as most of the time it will just be twisted.

To avoid those kinds scammer reach your account, you must learn about privacy concern, this will make scammer has no way to know you and contact you.

Even if there's a random strangers have reach your account, you just need to block it when they're offering free money, giveaway, etc. The key is don't attracted with any free money or giveaway since it mostly need to sacrifice your privacy.

Right now I never join any giveaway, airdrop and such thing.
Avoid all those too good to be true offers, that way your account will be safe and your money will always be secured. And never disclose about your achievements in crypto online or offline so you won’t be a target for scammers that are only waiting for their perfect timing to attack. Keep private and stay low key, so you can live with your investments peacefully and happily.

Scammers have flooded Telegram groups because they find it easy to scam victims there. They change their usernames to Admin and PM anyone who goes to any project or exchange group seeking support from the team just to get their details and get away with whatever they have in their wallets. Reputable and good projects always have ways to get rid of such scammers, and some of them always advise making sure no Admin PM them for any support.
Always avoid Telegram because it has the most scammers more than any social media platform.

They always put deadline for you making you to rush and meet up with it. They are mostly trap that is set for you, be careful and don't rush in if you will later rush out. Do a good researching and take your time to delay at times it help.
Most scammers appear to be very eager to get things done on time, which is why they are always aggressive; once you notice such an act, you can be certain that it is a scam because good team support will not be very eager to get things done; instead, they will follow due process and steps to make the process as simple as possible.

first thing to point out is that you cannot even trust the admin, Do not be fooled by titles . "Admin" is just a word, a title like CEO that can be answered by anyone, so you should not easily fall prey to titles or positions claimed to be occupied by individuals who want to help you.

Another way you can avoid being scammed is to delay your "intending scammer" on the information they require you to give.
Not being too much in a hurry to make a decision can also save you from scammers, apart from the fact that slow decision-making can be irritating to scammers... it can also give you time to rethink and evaluate your decisions and options so a better decision can be made.

Telegram groups are full of scammers. They try to impersonate real admins and scam newbies.

Rules are don't talk to members who DM you first. Don't send them private key, wallet seeds, password. And definitely don't send them money.

It's fairly easy to just block people on telegram and also to not know whether someone you're talking to exists or not in my experience.

There's a lot of additional scams not mentioned here but I think op mentioned some relating to them as well as not doing any sort of trading with people you haven't met on a forum too might be a useful one to consider (unless you use an intermediary/escrow that you've found and can trust).
OP only tell about the most common scams we found in the crypto market, so this thread is still good enough. But if newbies want to gain full information about the different scams happening today not only in the crypto market but also in all types of investments, then just DYOR online, I’m sure everything is listed free in the internet.

I can remember scam baiters trying to stall scammers all over the phone and it never fails to make me laugh just how genuine annoyed they are when they cannot get through their scripts. They're so annoyed just because they wanted to move forward with another victim after they looted their first one.

It is funny to keep stalling them regardless even if there was deadline, lol.

Well Op I personally appreciate your post, and I always like it when the attention of Scammers are brought to light. But OP never underrate, under estimate or think you know the characteristics of all scammers. I know of someone who has encounter a very patient scammers that scammed her after almost seven months of her not being too responsive to his chats.

When it comes to scams I take no chances and up my sensitivity and so should every newbies, don't give it a chance, when you feel the possibility of it being a scam and you has asked from your more experience help, do what's necessary for your own protection and that's cut it off.

You have not revealed a lot of things about scam that newbies should know, crypto scam specifically.

Scam type and the way it happen is many, different experience because of different ways that scammers follow. The patterns is too much to cover and I can't exhaust it just like you didn't exhaust it in your post also.

I made out my post so it will be discussed and more awareness will be created, maybe some one is about getting to scam or fall to it and this discussion here currently can help. It is to help someone when more people talk about it in the forum. Scam is wide to cover, even bounty can be scam, not only about your money or coin but your effort to waste in many weeks and months is scam.
I know what your goal with this thread but to be honest, there are existing threads about scam situation where the victim or the one who started the thread is only sharing it. Each of those topic shared also have different ways/schemes or similar scheme used to scam people that's why there's no full cover of it which is understandable. The common scheme used to scam is to own a domain with designs that look professional or similar to existing reputation gambling site which is you must deposit first before you can withdraw.

If there is anything difference/discrepancy from what they told you from what the information is then push further, you may find something and what you will find will help you not to be scammed

Make some findings by yourselves, go extra miles on research about what you have received from different sources, examine them and learn to be information independent, most people fall a victim all because they too rely on others for what they build on, you can't leave above the esteem you've created for yourself, therefore we must struggle to learn on how to do things all by ourselves, it pays alot.

Another way you can avoid being scammed is to delay your "intending scammer" on the information they require you to give

Just as scammers are now developing new strategies and attack, some can be patient for a good number of days or months by being patient enough just to get your convinctions, while some can rush you with information and quickly take advantage before someone close to you serves as an eye opener that they were scammers, so they can only decieve,  manipulate or lie to you on aspects you don't have an idea about and that's why information is very important together with learning.
