More than the exponential growth of Bitcoin Price, I think one of the biggest thing that's gonna happen within five years is a major move by government in regards to Bitcoin price. The government wouldn't just stay silent as Bitcoin reaches a million dollar. They might banned bitcoin conversion to any fiat currency. The current news circulating in regards with bitcoin control by the government is just a minor punch to the industry. This is just a speculation. But i do believe the government wont just silent and let other be a millionaire without doing nothing.
For the next five years I'm sure bitcoin will be a very valuable asset, do not sell bitcoin for trivial things, better save as you can.
In next 5 years, Bitcoin will become a big asset of people. And maybe it is accepted in around the world.
The believers of Bitcoin is increasing but some people are still not convinced to its benefits. I think in like 5 years, Bitcoin will be the topic around the world and will be trusted by many people. I also think that its price will become stable unlike now.

It now appears that the value of bitcoin is likely to rise dozens of times. Five years is not long, but predictably, there will be more and more encrypted currencies. I also think that the 5 years is enough for the bitcoin to survive and become one of the most effective investment in the world and the price of bitcoin can go up to 100,000 USD after 5 years because just imagine how huge is the percentage for this year and if the same thing will continue to happen in the next 5 years then we can easily see a 6 digit bitcoin price.

Bitcoin will be one of the best and strongest with the price of the next five years from now on the price of $ 11700 this will increase again if my estimate is true $ 20,000 per each at the end of this december.
I think that it is very difficult to say with any certainty, or to even claim to have an idea of what the situation will be like in 5 years. Quantum computing could completely change the whole playing-field.
I would be very aware of anyone who claims to be absolutely certain of the future of Bitcoin - there are so many variables/uncontrollable factors that we may not have even taken into account yet...

Five years from now bitcoin will be known or popular to everybody. Many people will get interested to join or engage in Bitcoin. Lots of businessmen will invest and trust Bitcoin. Digital money will be used. Then, there is also a possibility were in the government may put a tax/vat unto it. They may also control the bitcoin.
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
Personally, I would not be surprised if bitcoin grows to $ 15k by the end of the year. Now there is no reason for a strong drop in bitcoin and the market is on a positive trend. In 5 years we will be very surprised by its cost
Well is the surprise going to be in the positive or negative sense? I think looking at the way the prices keep soaring as a result of its demand and we have more than half the world's population not actively involved in Bitcoin investment yet then I guess in 5 years these guys are going to keep the demand of Bitcoin on a consistent ascendancy and that will also grow its price in an ever increasing upward trend.
Bitcoin will reach the outer space and above , it just grew by more than 4000$ in the last two months , so imagine in five years. BTC will be the top 1 cryptocurrency on the internet. I think people who own bitcoin should invest their money in it, because after 5 years they will know how important it is and everyone will start to care about it.
I'm sure that 5-year bitcoin prices will reach at least $ 75k, 2017 still leaves about 29 days away, but price increases have reached more than 1000 percent, and if every year there is an increase like this then bitcoin will be easy to reach $ 75k.

Maybe bitcoin for the next 5 years is getting better, because now we also know bitcoin prices are increasingly soaring and getting better.

I definitely agree with you, technology reflects cryptocurrencies. Techonology plays a big role in online transactions, that's why it should be improved in order for us to have a smoother-rich experience in using, and investing in Bitcoin, and it also plays a vital role in securing our crytos we invested in. In your question, I might say that (as what I can observe as of now) Bitcoin would pump and would have a value 300% higher than it's value this year. Hodl up!
