i think eth will really be a blast now that a series of ICO in its path the market will be big that it might be larger than bitcoin its nice to invest to ETH now that its price is really low hold it for a few years and it would be a nice investment
as we know now that Raiden is making an ICO so things are changed.
they will have token and its own "gas" fee.. so what do you think how far can raiden price go?

Maybe still dominent of blockchain platform , because eth its best altcoin , the price is always upraising , but on this years the price its not stable.
Idk if 5 years later , because we always hard to predict the altcoin price , its based on value of market cap.
But i can trust eth never cant disappeared.
I think ethereum will be a great cryptocurrency in 5 years, it will be more popular in crypto market because its always improving a lot and its value will increase over the years. Ethereum has always new projects and maybe because of this, ethereum would be second to bitcoin.
if any of my recent crowdfunding investments which ethereum has helped the many now in the the business community to get funds, I will certainly buy ETH as an investment, at the moment it is the go to coin.

Eth is a platform for smart contracts like ico etc. But there is a lot of upcoming coins that is able to fight with eth. One main competitor is neo, where it allows faster transaction like 10k/s while eth is 15/s, neo also include more coding language so it is easier for adoption.
as what bitcoin and always ethereum are there next to it after 5 five years that would be more great i dont see that it will surpass the bitcoin but it will always next to bitcoin and no other altcoin can replace on what the eth are now that was for my opinion only but how about if not i think waves have this possibility. But all good i see on eth now.
In my opinion, the future of Ethereum is pretty good over the next five years. It has many advantages to convince people. Its platform is a lot of people's favorite, it uses smart contracts, links between blocks, makes transactions faster. In terms of value, it is also very good, with total market capitalization just behind Bitcoin. Many investors have chosen it, experts also predict that ETH value will increase in the future. Of course, this is just my personal guess, in the future it may be different
If you asking for my opinion Etherium price will be rice up for a 5 years also as a bitcoin price. This is all just a beginning, remember my words.

Bitcoin is like the mother of all cryptocurrencies, almost all of the altcoins out there always use bitcoin as their base price rate and that's why bitcoin is unreplaceable by ETH or many more.and if you realize, bitcoin is the only one cryptocurrency that spendable in so many stores, and known by many people, while ETH, only known by tech savvy.
I think ETH will be bigger than any other altcoin and even bigger than Bitcoin. Because founder and team developer Ethereum always looking for new idea for ETH platform so that can continue use in blockchain community then also will be increase the demand. My price prediction of ETH in 5 years can be $ 4000-$6000.
Nothing to believe about the bigger than bitcoin but in my view there are some reasons to be determined as the main point to the ethereum may worth a lot in the future. The first POS implemented and the second was Byzantium, Plasma and raiden update. All of them will make the price of ethereum, will worth a lot especially for the POS update.

with so many ico based on ethereum network, i think ethereum have a big chance to exist until 5 years more and we know that ethereum have a big community too which is supporting ethereum. on the other side, the ico is trying to reach their goals in the market so we are waiting that if this is true, then maybe ethereum will be solid coins that we should invest right now. but we should remember that if one coins want to still exist in crypto world, the coins must get full support from the dev and the team and the community.
Ethereum has a unique technol and i believe if the situation with ICOs remain as it it will be will grow up to $800 - $1000 but i think will be stable.
In my own opinion Ethereum will still be second to bitcoin after 5 years from now. Bitcoin will have a big increase in price and that will also apply to Ethereum.

I'm pretty sure it won't disappear. 5 years from now it could be competing with bitcoin very closely unlike now.

The potential for a long-term investment in Ethereum is high. As soon as it reaches a mark of $ 1000, an exponential growth of this criptomoneda can take place.
Investors who buy will start selling when their price reaches $ 700 to make quick money, but it seems that Ethereum could have a longevity that would allow it to be the subject of investments over a long period of time. If this great growth is estimated, it would be interesting to buy before it reached $ 750, because further there would increase uncertainty.
For me I think it is a coin that great for hold for long term and has the very potential that could really grow. I know it really has a big price of being an altcoin but there really are some good potential altcoin also out there that does like what is Ethereum is doing just like Monero, Litecoin and Dashcoin they really are some potential coins to invest too. I think Ethereum in that span of 5 years will increase its price but this coins I recommend also will dominate also the world of crypto in that span of years and I love to collect some of it this time.
My expectation on ethereum is big, this coin have very very big potential for future, why? because of the ICO nowadays. Most of ICO now is based from ERC20. Remember what happened January 2017 when price of each ethereum is 10$? Then what will happen after 5 years? For me, the next bitcoins is ethereum.
I think it would still exsist just like bitcoin. Because ethereum are doing great compared to other altcoin and competitive capabilities might bring this coins into a long journey. And it contuously soar the market against others altcoin.
