You must have a good project to stand out, scaming has been reduced greatly unless those that cannot make a little research before investing.

Only those who are greed to didn't pay attentions with researching before investing will fall to this scam projects.
Many of us have greed when we see that the project looks interesting to invest, so we only follow from what other people say without research if that project is really good or not. The market still making the good move as I see that the market still up and down so far, so we might see another increase for many coins this month. Hopefully, this month can be better than the last month, so we can back to make a profit again, and if the market can rise more than now, bitcoin price will have a chance to break the high price.

not many but each of everyone of us has their own kind of greed and that greed wont be same or not all are greedy when it comes to money .

here on forum majority of people here can tell or will tell if the project is a scam or not and so chances of you getting scammed is small if you do follow them and if you dont follow your own greedy self . market now is better than previous months , thats the reason why scam projects are getting lowered

I'm looking for a top, I might be wrong but there's nothing incorrect about looking and considering the alternate views in the midst of an obviously more positive market now in August then we had in march.   Just like in March it paid off well to be an optimist and at least consider the possible reversal and true enough, the panic was incorrect.   That's a broad view but my simple take is 1 hour bars with just the idea of greater volume for the red bar then the green and the obvious latent hopes of speculators that we drift up simply with momentum and gravity aiding us somehow, markets often dont give simple gains.    I think profit taking can occur and its quite reasonable to enter a short at first near term then look to close or hold it depending on how longer term is developing in the bigger picture.

We're not seeing any news at present to go with this rise, just a speculative wave of interest that might take us higher or not.   There seems to be a very good chance of it but I wouldnt rely on it especially as certain until the trend is in place, this is still the scaffolding part where must disassemble the remnants of previous volume trend that represents volume for the market to deal with.
We can't state it as a speculative wave of growth. If the ongoing market changes were based on speculation now this could've fallen low, but the market stands high compared to rest of the markets. Even in this pandemic cryptocurrency is the only thing that is on the growing path. The price too have crossed $11000, making it a perfect growth which is been expected months back itself.

People are much aware about the project where they will invest or not. They are able to identify the real and scam project as well. Obviously people will invest if they find good potential project. Otherwise there is no benefit to invest on every project.
Yeah and it is not as easy as earlier when just any ICO or IEO would come into the market and raise hundreds of thousands of bitcoins from innocent investors by just creating an ANN here in the forum, making a decent website and just randomly picked team. Now investors are way more smarter and they would not invest a single dollar until they verify the team and their experience, their past projects and their current development.

All been said there are still numerous ICOs and airdrops coming into the market though and they find investors somehow by luring them into high profit promises and next level developments.

With respect to bitcoin market, right now we are into stronger bullish rally as per the dream of many people here. I believe we are heading toward $15k levels in short-term and by this year-end we must need to get ready for experiencing a new ATH.

I see a very massive upward set up any moment from this week and bitcoin might test $14,000 again. A break above $10,000 and remain above there throughout this week is needed in other to bring big buyers into the market.

If this rise will continue and new barriers will take place more and more investors will start bringing new money to keep this high.

The lesser amount of projects might have something to do with the pandemic because almost no one wants to start a new project since they cannot do any meetings or gather together to promote or discuss their project publicly.

It also has to do with the amount of scam projects coming up, investors are now hesitant to invest anything in genuine projects as well and the whole altcoin market is completely bullshit now.

I am honestly happy that there are lesser ICOs and hopefully the golden days of altcoins will be back soon with lesser projects being thrown into the market.

A very welcome bitcoin bull season, how long may it last?
Looks like investors are moving their profit made with altcoins to the king bitcoin again. The market looks very optimistic about bitcoin right now. I'm really impressed bitcoin is showing all its potential during a terrible pandemic which is leading world economies down and during a defi hype.
The king of crypto currency universe is definitely going to rule for a long time yet!

If we could have something like last year where the price just skyrockets that would be super sweet, we really need the price to actually go to 14-15k levels so that we could try to not just go up but also hold instead of trying to just go up. At 15k level I am fine with bitcoin staying there for a while, I just hate it when the price goes above 10k and below 10k and it does this like a hundred times in the past 3 years.

I am sick and tired of bitcoin price not being able to go above 10k too much (in time not in price) and goes down under 10k once again after failing to stay. This time around I want it to go around 15k levels (anything over 13k works) and I want it to stay there, at least 6 months, hopefully a year. If it can stay that way for a year that means we will probably not go down under 10k any more this frequently.

We have seen a lot of changes in the crypto market recently, not in terms of pricing but rather in terms of projects as we have seen much lesser new projects this year compared to last two years. Is it because scam projects cannot scam people and they quit or else there are no investor's to start new projects?
You are a typical bounty hunter so i believe that you already knew whats the answer  for this right?

and also there are no reason why new project will pop up since all the legit project is already existing so more or less new projects will be copy paste  project?

Stop looking for new project and  instead support old successful projects.

If this scheme will continue, it absolutely will affect the trust of the investors and so much it reflects the price development. We don't like to see this but too sad to know the fact that scammers, fake project developers, and other ways of scamming will likely not stop. That is why, from time to time we can still see these projects around and hearing people being scammed.
what you dont like to see ? he was talking on the growth on the price and not on the possibility of it going to decrease . growth on the price arent the only one that changed the view of the people but its much more when the price decrease  . also we are talking about btc here not fake and scammed projects but your still right that scam and fake projects wont go away and they are also the reason why investors view on cryptos including on btc is changing .

They are a big burden on crypto industries and not surprise with those people telling that this things rotating here are scams since we literally know that scamming is so rampant on cryptocurrency, maybe this side needs regulation or anything can control so that we can gain a big trust from those investors who looks for good opportunity in bitcoins industry. But this thing will never happen and the spread will slow up due to this guys who always scam new people in the industry.

The price movement will show the same and we have nothing to do with that. What we are talking about is how these new projects will show some potentials out from realistic scamming issues that we usually heard. For numbers of crypto projects created every day, it was to wonder that all of them will succeed, instead, most of them will fail.

If this scheme will continue, it absolutely will affect the trust of the investors and so much it reflects the price development. ~snip~

Or maybe we just stay away from all the news and just rely on our own judgement and long term plans? I mean, why are we always going to be influenced by news, more knowledge, from who? Guys who of course want us to do the things that will help them in the long run. That's the true understanding of free lunches, that no one does it for our benefit.

Staying away from all the news and the offers can be a solution for people who are afraid of not getting the right news. We can stick to our long-term plans, which can help us not worry about the fluctuating price at the market. But we might lose the chance to make a profit from the fluctuating of the market. We need to realize that everything that we will decide have a risk, and if we can deal with the risk, we will have the chance to make a profit from other ways. We can see that no one will help us to get what we want except ourselves.

If there's no investors who will become attracted with those new projects, scam won't happen anymore. The lessons that we learned made us stronger and more wiser this time, and we can't afford to be their victim all over again. We must stand on our own decisions to don't entertain those promises.

News do play a role in the crypto trade business, of course it doesn't always have to be a good role, but it doesn't have to be a bad role neither, it depends on you to decide if it is good or not. What you can consider good or bad would be actually to calculate the news and see if it is a true fact or an opinion piece, there are a lot of confusion between those things.
But almost all the bad news about crypro, for example the case of hacking exchange will cause the price of bitcoin to dump. A quick response from bitcoin holder who have large amount of bitcoin to bad news by selling part or all of their asset will cause panic for day trader and this situation will only worsen market condition. Although bitcoin is not regulated by anyone, it often happen that large investor (whales) will influence the market and that is very often expressed by many trader and forum user.

This market is highly reactive to fuds and shills that why its no surprise that when a certain news do pops out, neither positive or negative it might really give out significant effect.

Lets take for example on what happened on  recent past few hours where btc did able to rise up or reach 10k price. Whats the reason?   no one knows yet there are no news or events

reason for it to rise. This is one of the hardest part on where price can move its own and we know that whales is one of the  possible reason too.
