There are many reasons why people stop to use bitcoin or avoid to use it. First, bitcoin network isn't fast and stable enough to handle worldwide transaction as we can see from confirmation time today, many companies won't accept transaction without confirmation, so credit card is faster today. Second, currently bitcoin has very fluctuate value. Many companies and businessmen don't want to accept bitcoin to avoid loss. The last thing is negative report of bitcoin, from its anonymity which is abused by criminals till scam problem. Those negative reports will make people stop to use bitcoin. But if they are smart enough to avoid those things, they won't stop using bitcoin

Bit coin does less then 300,000 transactions per day and we have volume crowding issues.
So 300,000 and how many people 7,000,000,000 . simple math bitcoin can't handle the volume.
so world wide acceptance will not happen until a proper amount of transactions are possible.

I think the things that stops people from using bitcoin is because of the HYIPs that scammed them. So they think that the bitcoin is not a good way to get another source of income. But they didn't know that there are many opportunity to make money with bitcoin like trading.
1. It should be called Internet Money. When referred to as so it makes it easier to understand its purpose.
2. It's usually not tangible. Prepaid BTC cards will help spread awareness because it's how most people are accustomed to shopping.

Most people have never heard of Bitcoin, and those who have think it offers no large advantages over cash. People like to stick to what they know.
In the development countries, this situation will happen because the limited connection and facilities but different on developed countries maybe a lot of people knows about bitcoin.

I think there were a reason for them to stop using bitcoin. They might get scammed or losed their money when they used bitcoin currency
I also think they are scared to invest because it stays a investment and it can still collapse these days due to the instability.

There is something that stops people from using bitcoin. Why people doesn't use bitcoin if there is nothing stops them.
Like they are lack of information about bitcoin, they are thinking bad about bitcoin. They don't believe that bitcoin is a digital currency.

That's true, that's a big factor why people are discourage in using bitcoin. And media really manipulates the mind of the people easily.
As they brain wash the mind of the people that can hear and read their black propaganda to things that will against to the business of bitcoin.

thats a really bad thing in my opinion, to be honest the people are stuffed with the ideas that bitcoin is a bad thing thus they dont like using it usually and i hope that this will not go on in the futurei guess people themselves only stopping from using bitcoins also some governments ban bitcoins thus it might be the idea that does not allow them to get into bitcoins and use it

Perhaps the reason for that may represent a whole is that bitcoin is not able to provide benefits. I'm sure if bitcoin could not develop and the slump will be a lot of people who stop using bitcoin.Because as far as my concern, bitcoin has been providing us the benefit of transparent, hasty (not always true), secure transaction through the times.
First is the availability of local store to spend Bitcoin. Country related regulations. And the need of internet to be able to connect to the bitcoin network. Further more, the volatility of Bitcoin value, today Bitcoin is at $700 range and tomorrow might be at $200 range. A bit complicated for non tech people.

No, convenience and ease of its use do not stop people from its usage, but these features enhance the interest of people in using bitcoin, people do not hate and run away from the convenience but they like to adopt a way which will be easy and convenient for them.

Bitcoin are not tied to any country so there's no reason they would stop using bitcoin if they already know about usefulness of bitcoin.
I will say value fluctuation is the main reason for stopping this. Currently its pretty good. Also i heard from thi forum that many people are losing their BTC by hackers. They have stop this and secure this.
I prefer the dollar because it has almost universal acceptance, and it doesn't have its price crash once per year. Plus I can't find a wallet or hard drive that I can trust as much as my bank, which has been in business for 100+ years, is regulated and audited, provides government-funded depositor insurance, lets me do chargebacks, and provides reimbursement for any deposit lost due to hacking or bank card fraud or check fraud.
