Constantly new altcoins are coming in the market, making it very difficult to choose the best altcoin from there. The altcoin market is always volatile so people get confused to make the right altcoin investment. But among the altcoins, Eth and BNB are among the top altcoins, they are very trusted coins and have survived for many years. But also XRP is considered as top name. Ethereum and BNB coins are very stable and I personally prefer these coins among the altcoins.I invest more in BNB coins due to Ethereum's gass fees getting higher.

The most recommended altcoins to accumulate should be the top altcoins which have strong fundamentals. ETH, BNB, ADA, SOL, MATIC, DOT, XLM, HBAR are the examples of altcoins that have strong fundamentals and have big market caps. I avoid to invest in meme coins because they only rely on the hype, their future is totally very difficult to predict. However, it is your choice whether you want to invest in hyped altcoins or fundamental altcoins. Which altcoins better to invest, must depend on your own research. Everyone sometimes has their own target in investment, this also determines which coins to buy. If it is for a short term goal, hyped altcoins are also okay as long as you understand how to invest or trade on them.

The only risk in altcoin is price dump and that can only happen when you purchase the coin at its high price but for Pawswap, its price is low and its risk will be minimal with the tendency for the price to increase when there is a push on the market.
The risk of its price dumping is always there even if it's priced very low, so it is never recommended to invest in newly launched projects only because they haven't got much value so far, especially if you are planning to hold it for some time, at least a year or so since that is when the bull market might come.

My favorite alt-coins is Shiba Inu coin and is burning down everyday by day as transaction going and is very good to hold or accumulate more in the wallet that we give profits in the near future.

We saw how huge the 'wave' was recently when the news regarding the lawsuit have spread in an instant which I think is a good sign gigen that many investors are looking up into it. Just wait until it totally win the lawsuit and for sure its market price would be multiplied. Also its market price is not falling too deep. The problem only is its market price often follow Bitcoin's unlike with other altcoins which are having their own market price movement. Also, it is an established token in this industry which makes it safe from rugpulls, or sudden price dump so atleast it would be less risky. But if it is overall choice then that would be Ethereum and Bitcoin especially for long term holding or investment.

There are a lot of people who are asking the same question, even though I believe that the top names are the ones to go, these days XRP is considered top name and I wouldn't even considering getting it, not even like 10 of them, it would be impossible for me to invest in that.
So, I would say that the ones with least problem and best results so far, I like ETH for that matter and I like BNB because even though it was attacked, it won, and it is doing fine and the centralized owner is Binance, a company we all love and trust (considering how much money people put in it that shows trust) that's why I think those two are the biggest, litecoin is great too. But always pick your own and not really listen what others say.

You should understand that there are many altcoins created every day and most of them have no future value. Some investors choose to avoid investing in altcoins for that reason.
So if you are in need of a potential and development team, then come to ETH, although it is not new, it certainly holds a lot of faith because they are the pioneers of altcoins and their position is very difficult to lose. defeated by another coin.

For now, I have a long list of coins that I am planning to buy. Maybe I cannot accumulate all of them but at least I already have my own preferred altcoins to invest.

Indeed, we need to be extra careful in choosing which project to invest in. As you mentioned about FTX and LUNA, it means that even the top coins are not even guaranteed safe although they are way better than those low-valued projects in terms of risk. So this is where diversification plays an important role in investing. We will never put all our eggs in one basket.
I just realized that Syscoin is not in the top 100 anymore. It's an old coin that was created like 10 years ago. Developers are still at work, decent community and their volume remains decent as well. It is also listed on top exchanges. The main reason why I also pick this coin though is because it always breaks its previous ATH per 4-year cycle which is based on the bitcoin halving. ATH is at $1.30 which is more than x10 based on the current price. And I am expecting another ATH in 2025 or early 2026.

Altcoins are a good way to earn money, which is why they appear on the market so often. While an altcoin is new, you can speculate on it quite well, then the developers' attention is switched to something else, and so on, in a circle. This is a whole business and if altcoins are constantly being born, it means that it is profitable for someone, especially if the market is full of investors who are chasing new altcoins. As long as there is demand, there will be supply.

There are projects that depend on capital but have potential to become an ecosystem in the future that can be called a lot of shit for now. I agree with the advice given between Layer 2 projects, even projects may be the right projects. Ecosystems such as Arb, OP may give good results in the next bull. In addition, if you want to reduce the risk a little bit, you should invest in bitcoin and Ethereum.

Ethereum and BNB are coins that can be used as investments besides Bitcoin (which is a must have as the main investment). But it all depends on your analysis, and don't just follow what people suggest. @OP must be able to find the coin from the analysis results because not all coins suggested by us can provide maximum profit for @OP because we have our own targets.

If you're interested in altcoins, Ethereum (ETH) might be a safer choice compared to others like BNB, which appears to be particularly risky now.
Not only Ethereum (ETH), we have a lot of L1 projects that we can see on the CMC list, and referring to the @OP real goal of wanting to have a good altcoin before the big pump time comes, I think L1 projects with small MC are the solution.

No single answer will do justice to what you seek as everyone will want to shill whatever they're hodling. If you care for your investment you shouldn't leave the decision to random internet people to make for you. Except you've something in mind already and you want to guage how others assess it to find out if it's worth it or not. Still DYOR, even when options are dropped here for you. Research launchpad tokens, especially those from the Bluezilia conglomerate. Exchange tokens won't be a bad place also to look. Make sure whatever tokens you consider have a use and utility.

Ethereum, Binance Coin, Polygon MATIC, Cosmos, Cardano, Litecoin, Ripple, PolkaDot, Solana, TRON, Arbitrum, Uniswap, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Avalanche, ChainLink, Quant, Aptos, and many more.There are so many altcoins out there to the point that you might get overwhelmed. Why not just focus on Bitcoin? Why focus more on altcoins? Do you have Bitcoins now that's why you are opting now to invest into altcoins? Well, I guess if you want to invest into altcoins, just focus on the top 10 altcoins in terms of market cap (exclude stable coins). I know that altcoins can give you higher profit than it is with Bitcoin, but it's more risky.
Overall, it all depends on the risk tolerance. If you are aggressive investor, and you can take the risk then focus on the bottom coins that has a slightly lower market cap. Now if you are a semi-conservative investor, you might pick those at the top 11-20 coins. If you are a conservative investor like me, I guess just focusing on the top 10 would be the best choice. The decision is in your hands. I guess you will really buy altcoins, and please don't buy low market cap coins if you are a newbie.

nowadays accumulating ethereum is definitely a good thing but honestly investing in newer coin that already reached high rank and plummeted in term of value in this few weeks are also equally good investment.
we haven't yet hit the bullrun, even the bullish season hasn't really seen and probably will come in the next year instead, maybe at the end of the year at best scenario, if you accumulate right now, regardless of the price, it will increase.
its just matter of whether you have the patience to hold or not really.

Choose old coins if you are afraid of taking risks with these new altcoins. In fact, we have a lot of potential altcoins like ETH, BNB, Sol, etc...only for you is to choose what coin/s you think is good. And talking about complete control over our funds - make use of your personal wallet, not the exchange wallet and never consider them as storage wallet. I use MyEtherwallet for many years and it was still okay. Well, all I can see is we need to do research and be careful of our decisions as this is the only help to avoid scammers.
