i don't know if anybody remembers this, but Keybase gave airdrop of XLM, I received 60-80$ I think. That was my first airdrop, secondly comes with NOTcoin, where I received  over 100$ and dogs gave me a 20$ airdrop.

Airdrop are fun, easy to earn money but only if you give it time.

in the last few years I have never participated in any airdrops because I was no longer interested. However, I once got results from a very large airdrop, and that was in 2019, but I forgot the name of the airdrop because it was more than 5 years ago. and the results I got were more than $100 at that time, but now I never participate anymore because recently no one has given big rewards from airdrops.

by getting an airdrop it is an achievement that we receive, and in my opinion it is something that is awaited even though the amount is not as big as we hope, I have also received $ 15 from an airdrop, and now I am also working on the project to fill my time and hopefully get lucky.

The potential crypto market always surprises us. There are serious and hard-working traders who still have to suffer losses when the market fluctuates, but sometimes luck can change the someone life. We have heard of cases where someone became a millionaire from DOGE[1], SHIB[2], PEPE[3]... Recently we know another lucky teenager who became a millionaire thanks to JUP token airdrop.

He has made over $1 million on a Jupiter airdrop, he invested time and resources into the platform and was able to maximize his earnings by using various features:

The teenager shared his strategy in a 12-min video, saying: "I focused on actively using all of Jupiter's tools. It's about being smart with your moves on the platform. I made over $1,000,000 on the $JUP airdrop[4]".

Although Airdrop/RetroActive hunters have been a popular profession over the past year as many projects have launched and there have been many campaigns to attract the community, success like this case is an exception. I think that he will receive many congratulations for working hard and receiving a well-deserved reward, but there will also be many people who are jealous. I hope he will use this great reward effectively for his life in the future.

I think events like this have a positive impact on the crypto market:
  • The luck and becoming a millionaire of an individual are always attractive to everyone: the crypto market will have new investors.
  • New projects will have more motivation to conduct big airdrops to be well promoted as Jupiter.
  • Many Airdrop hunters will participate, helping projects test platforms to detect bugs before they are exploited by hackers.

I have been participating in the crypto market since 2017 and have also received a few airdrops but usually they are only worth a few USD. Maybe I should collect more luck before becoming an Airdrop hunter Smiley

I want to hear your story in the Airdrop sector:
  • Have you ever participated in Airdrop?
  • What is the most valuable Airdrop you have ever received?
  • How did that airdrop help change your position and journey in the crypto market?

What is the most valuable Airdrop you have ever received?[/li][/list]

This year I received around a dozen airdrops. But most were below $20.
    Yet one was $100.
And the biggest one, from the Prom Network, was $250.
I'm not sure whether it fully qualifies as "airdrop" since it was a victory in a small Sprint campaign held by Prom.
But it was run on Zealy for 1 month.
It required to make a lot of twitter reposts and likes.
And a few times it was necessary to install a mobile app and use it.
And all abovementioned are usual prequisites to an airdrop, so I believe it qualifies as such.

The money was really good for the amount of effort I spent.
It took me about 4 hours total to do all the Sprint tasks on Prom Zealy Space.
There were over 100 of tasks but most took around 5 seconds to complete.
The tasks were related to the Prom Ecosystem partners, so I also got to learn about 30 other different projects.
And while doing so I got involved into a few other airdrop possibilities, which i yet have to pursue.

All in all it was fun and I liked the reward.
Prom Network is still running 2 more campaigns, which last five times longer.
And of course I am doing my best there too.

Thanks for the little insides! It seems that it will be worth it, if they won't change their ways in the future.

I received my first airdrop from Deeponion before and after it hit $14 I dumped it right away since I knew that it would just crash and a lot of holders too. Right now, the community is still active and sadly it was delisted from known exchanges like Kucoin and has no trading volume.

That's why if you have joined an airdrop then make sure to sell it right away and don't just hold it for a long time, you will never know when the price will go down and never to rise up again.

I agree with you. Better to have something than having nothing at all. Sometimes it's worth it, of course, but it's a big risk to do so.

Yes, I did participate in some! The most valueble of them, however, was worth around $20ish, it was a memecoin of ALT. But it was fun and something new to go through nevertheless! It did show me ways to work around with different projects, however, it's still up to the project founders and other facts to decide whether there would be a good opportunity or, at worst - lost money and time.

My biggest airdrop campaign is from uniswap . Thought I invested lots of time and some of my funds it was worth it at the end .I came out with almost $500 at the end of the day it was my best airdrop till today.
My biggest airdrop have not really exceeded $50 before, and at that level I was even thankful for receiving such an amount of free money, I took part in just wallet testing and I was awarded that amount as rewards, although I have seen a lot of other airdrop hunter or bounty hunters who made alot of money for m their activities and promotion of some early coins, there is a recent wave here nlin my region and this wave was triggered by the success of a game token that recorded a lot of success there by giving those airdrop participants a lot of profits, I learnt that some got as high as 3k to $5k value from their airdrop rewards, and ever since then, there have been tons of other tap and play to earn project that are thriving on the notcoin recorded success, to build and promote such similar games projects.
But some of them have not achieve any form of success yet and that gives us a lot of concern that this projects may become a total waste of time for both investors and airdrop hunters.

I have received plenty, and sold some very early ($UNI, $OP, $TIA) otherwise they could have been worth a lot more, and this taught me to hold, so I'm holding recently received $ZK. I'm not really sure which one was biggest tbh, I have started maintaining spreadsheet only recently.

To be honest, until now I personally have never received any airdrop, either I don't have expertise in the field of airdrops or I'm unlucky and inconsistent in the field, currently I'm only focusing on the altcoins that I have, especially now that the crypto market, especially altcoins, has starting to get better and just waiting for the increase.

Getting reward from Airdrops does not mean that you will participate in just one and will get a jackpot but you should participate in each and every airdrop and also in those who ask for charges so when time comes and you are eligible for airdrop then you will surely receive reward.

Some people participate in just a single airdrop and if he does not receive a reward from it then he stops to participate in others but I think this is not a good idea and one should not lose hope. Learn about the participation and know about the work for which you will become eligible for getting Airdrops so you will not be disappointed with your luck anymore.
This is where some people are doing on which there are even individuals who do make out that full time engagement with airdrops on which they would really be that joining all possible or launched airdrops and there are
even into those people who do really tend to abuse it and this is why they do make out even hundreds or thousands when it comes to that free money on which of course it would really be that only if they wont really be getting get caught. Airdrops nowadays are really that too serious on combatting when it comes to cheaters on which this is something which it isnt really that shocking to have.
In regarding on the question on the biggest one is something that i cant remember precisely but these are the list:

    1. Arkham $1000+
    2. Notcoin $500+
    3. ZK - $500+
    4. ZRO - $500
    5. TAIKO - $2000+

Some of them are free but majority is really that providing transactions or really needing up some gas to have
interaction on which i could say that it is really that still risky.

I still remember the airdrops that used to come in 2017-18, each of them would give a good amount. One of them was the eBTC airdrop, which gave me almost $2500 just for registering. Holding it for almost 2-3 months resulted in a good profit. But now, even if you participate in 100 airdrops, you only get 2-3, and there's no guarantee for those either. That's why I have stopped participating in airdrops now.

I remember receiving an airdrop from DeepOnion before and after it got listed on Kucoin and other exchanges, I sold 80% of my holding before it crashed the price. That was the biggest airdrop I've ever received and mostly I bought altcoins and BTC at that time.

I think I'm about the receive my largest airdrop in 2024.
    $250

Its the Prom Sprint Campaign on Zealy.
All you have to do is complete around 100 tasks most of which require twitter reposts and likes.
Basically you will have to follow 35 projects of Prom Ecosystem on twitter.
And a couple of times you will have to install their apps and provide screenshot proof of doing so.
Although 100 tasks seems like a lot, i was done with all of them in under 4 hours.
so having $250 for a couple hours of unskilled labour is actually really nice.

The campaign will end in 17 hours.
Come to think of it, thats enough time for anyone new to join from start, do all tasks and kick me off my place and take my money, lol.
There is always a chance that someone will do better then you, because it doesn't matter how early you started.
It only matters how well you perform. Cause there are bonus points for outstanding performance, and this is where you can score more than the leaders.
    The prize pool is $10,000
So the top 200 participants will receive from $30 to $250

Seeing as my previous airdrops of 2024 were $11 and $24, getting $250 will really do wonders for my self esteem.

Right now, I'm using a protocol, but I'm not sure if this platform I'm talking about will do airdrops; the same goes for the other free testnets, though I only check it about three times a week just to see that I'm doing activity on their platform anyway.

In short, I have never had the experience of being a participant in an airdrop, although I am looking for airdrops, so the platforms I have tried are still tentative. I hope they declare airdrops in the future so that I can experience them too, of course.

my biggest airdrop was uniswap but that happened in previous years. for 2024 there are some like JUP, DYM, RDAT, and Arbitrum. yeah that's not so bad because those airdrops are free without using any money.

Biggest airdrop I ever received in the whole time I’ve been in crypto was just by holding Bitcoin, I got airdropped so much free money with the block size wars when there was all the forks. I got Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond & a bunch I can’t even remember their names. It was good times, I wouldn’t mind it happening again.
Definitely one of the old guys, never met those airdrops and most of the times I got airdrops where just through my friend, when he gets informations about new airdrops he just share them with me and I participate in them but at the end I don't even get any dime from the airdrops because I wasn't really away of what I was doing so my friend kept taking all the profits that comes with the airdrops.

So for now I'm just buying bitcoin gradually believing soon I will have a good portfolio with good profit.
