To be honest, until now I personally have never received any airdrop, either I don't have expertise in the field of airdrops or I'm unlucky and inconsistent in the field, currently I'm only focusing on the altcoins that I have, especially now that the crypto market, especially altcoins, has starting to get better and just waiting for the increase.

The biggest airdrop I have receive in crypto is that of uniswap . Made almost 2k at that time Don't think there is any airdrop that can match that of uniswap although recently many have made alot from Notcoin some make almost 2-5k which is really huge since it was given free to all its miners.

I don't remember what the biggest airdrop was but I think the Uniswap airdrop performed pretty well. The biggest airdrop I've ever received in crypto. I got scammed a lot by doing two or three airdrops but stopped joining because they scammed me and didn't give me any tokens. It's hard to get anything good out of an airdrop these days.

Uniswap was the biggest airdrop ever happened in the crypto. It was happening when ethereum gets hyped a lot. I can remember it very well when i received more than 2k uni token. Jus try to make sure if you are only participating in the airdrop that backed by the big companies or reliable devleopers.

There have been so many fake airdrop these days. You must be even more careful when dealing with various airdrops. I remember that many people said that their wallet got drained after they were participating in the airdrop.

This must be fully anticipated considering that wrongly connected our wallet to the unknown site will be also helping scammer to infect our wallet. I was always avoiding the airdrop before i knew that very well who is a company behind such airdrop.

The airdrop announced by Uniswap was impromptu or you could say that the plan for an airdrop was not known to many people, so there were not as many participants as there are now. We can see that at this time many people are trying to participate in the airdrop. As long as there are more participants, the prizes we get will definitely be divided by the number of participants.

And there is in fact a second campaing running simultaneously.
Its called Validator campaign and runs on Zealy.
But that's topic for another discussion, since it gets even more complex.
If anyone gets interested, i would gladly elaborate.

I hope soon i will be able to report to you with real figures, since the mainnet is expected to launch soon.
Until then i still have time to push my rank on the lederboard a bit higher.

The validator campaign and runs on Zealy seems interesting. There are several points that I don't know yet, whether the payment mechanism is clear. The second is whether connecting our account with the validator is safe and what the claim process is.

I honestly have never tried it.

I want to hear your story in the Airdrop sector:

Well my best airdrop of last year brought me $800 worth of optimism coins. If i hadn't dumped them on the market immediately, it would have been $5k lol.

In 2024 I am focusing solely on Prom Testnet Campaign.
It really takes a long time and needs to be done daily, but I trust the reward will be worth my time.

It really is not that hard to claim tokens from the faucet, make transactions and mint NFTs - basically your standard testnet activity, and since it is done with test $PROM, it can be done infinitely, for as long, as you got the patience.

And the reward pool is 1 million $PROM upon the launch of mainnet, so I am highly enthusiastic about it.

But it would be a little more complex to evaluate the profitability of this airdrop, because the tokens you will receive will not be for external use - meaning you won't be able to sell them or trade them.
But you will be able to use them for community governance, partaking a share (30%) of the network profits.
So instead of a signle chunk of money you are actually getting means to making money each month for years.

Airdrops are not like before again. I was told that those who mined airdrop in those days make enough cool money but today airdrops have nothing to offer. They have no value again. And the is a vet good example today. Notcoin airdrop was the talk of the day and it was trending on in almost all the social media.
And today it was finally launched to douse the tension of those who have mined it and when it was finally launched in the popular exchanges. According to those who mined it, it was a disappointment to them. It was very small amount that came from it.
On the contrary i still feel airdrop are still huge but that depends on when you joined the airdrop. Notcoin was indeed huge cos i have a friend who mined and referred some friends to mine too and he got about $3k from the airdrop. I regret not mining the project tho but this is crypto industry; more opportunities will definately come just as I am higly optimistic about getting some BGB via the ongoing MVP referral campaign on Bitget which looks more realistic and achievable in a short period of time.

more than 100k JUP not long ago.
that's the kind of airdrop i like: just use the dapp because it's good, not because you expect an airdrop. no shitty social tasks to do either. just an organic airdrop

the ENA airdrop was pretty good too though i don't really consider it as an airdrop, it's farming really. i got about 50k ENA.

What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? I dont know maybe 300$ that is the biggest I got probably from the crypto airdrop bounty is around 2K max tho today I also looking good airdrop but never touch like K with triple zero I hope this year I earn more from crypto airdrop. The airdrop is different with you buy some memecoin and turned 1K into million airdrop is a task and you get paid from it.

So I hope atleast there I been airdropped 10K this year haha

the most impressive one for me was the Arbitrum airdrop. the reason is because I didn't expect that I would be eligible for the airdrop and I got almost $1k. Maybe I am eligible for the airdrop because I made several transactions on the Arbitrum network and have an NFT. I felt like I found $1k under the mattress  Grin
The arbitrum airdrop was very rewarding to many people that participated in it and I am very sure that similar airdrops like this would be available soon just like the ones we have been seeing on crypto social media. I have participated in few and they are rewarding for me but I can't really know which one was quite a big opportunity for me to might have participated. Participating in airdrops can be rewarding for us if we know how to go about it.

You should understand the difference between airdrops, which are sometimes paid by the team for social media activities, and a retrospective airdrop, in which early users of the network receive a reward that is not agreed in advance. And it is for retroairdrops that the biggest rewards are paid, which amount to thousands of dollars.
I also understand this, currently most of the biggest airdrops are retro-airdrops because they are really useful for the development of the project by providing liquidity, verifying the stability and security of the network and protocol. Retro-airdrop hunters have really put in a lot of effort, and they deserve rewards worth thousands of USD, even more if they can hold tokens until the market reaches the top of the uptrend.

Since 2017, airdrop has been one of many ways for projects to acquire users and build impressive social media profiles. As airdrop hunters become more sophisticated and can abuse airdrop programs, the conditions for airdrop become more complicated, even requiring hunters to pay transaction fees or add liquidity to DEXs... This makes it no longer effective to abuse airdrop programs, only real hunters will receive the rewards they deserve for their efforts.

I didn't participate in airdrop so I didn't receive big rewards in 2023, but I'm happy with that, and I always congratulate the persistent and lucky airdrop hunters!

You are right but it's also difficult to fish out projects that will pay it's community. Sometimes I decided to stop running airdrops but when I saw my friends receiving rewards, I was moved and this motivated me to start again. Airdrop sometimes involves luck and continuous trails. One day it may be luck to be part of a good project that will pay it's community well.
I can call this FOMO because of Airdrop! Airdrop is really attractive because hunters don't need to invest cash, they just need to try to follow and support the project and have the opportunity to receive thousands of USD, even millions of USD. However, that is only a few and appeared in the media, the majority of hunters are not so lucky, they only earn a few USD or nothing for their efforts.

We can completely minimize the risk in airdrop by finding and supporting really good projects, with potential solutions and large investment funds. Currently, many groups have focused on researching airdrop to share information with the community and they will have Ref, you can also refer to such groups.

I haven't won any good airdrop since i have been in the crypto space. I'm still hoping for good ones as we move toward this coming bull run. Running airdrop may not look easy as it involve performing tasks on difference basis and this may be some.

I have participated in many airdrop and sometimes some of them are just not worth it. We need to be wise and look for hood airdrops to participate in so that we can make profits from ourselves without much stress. There are some project team that do not care about the community wmbut what they care about is to make sure that not everybody will benefit from the project.
Some are just a waste of time that is why we need to be wise and loo for good and reputable project to hold.

Big airdrops are coming to airdrop hunters who never give up. So my advice is to stay enthusiastic about being an airdrop hunter and do all the airdrops.
So what do you mean by losing $100 before claiming? Maybe your wallet is linked to a phishing site which causes all your assets to be sent automatically. participating in airdrops often requires connecting a wallet, my advice is to differentiate between the main wallet and the airdrop wallet.
I think the most important thing when participating in an airdrop is to determine whether the project has real potential. If the project has a good solution, a professional team, and support from many large investment funds, then it is absolutely worth hunters pursuing. Conversely, they are not worth our effort even if the rewards are attractive, because scammers can come up with anything out of thin air, such as rewarding each hunter with 1M tokens worth 1M USD in the future if they follow the project's Twitter account.

As I understand it, he means that when he received the reward, the tokens were already worth 100 USD, but when the project was no longer developed well enough, the price of the tokens decreased or even disappeared from the market. That is one of the risks for hunters: even if they receive the reward, the tokens in their account may no longer have any value. The potential of the project is always the most important thing!

My biggest airdrop reward so far was Uniswap airdrop. When I learnt that people were being rewarded, I did not know I was one of them because I checked my wallet and did not see any Uniswap token. I thought maybe I was not successful. Some time I was doing something that required me to visit Uniswap platform for a swap. As linked my wallet, I noticed a pop-up that I should claim Uniswap tokens. I was being careful because that was the period when scam tokens were being sent to people's wallets. I have to conduct research on how Uniswap airdrop was being received. I was then able to claim 400 UNI tokens worth about $4000 as at the time of claiming the tokens. However, the value went lower with time due to the bear market as I thought the value will appreciate.

I started running airdrops during the beginning of the bear season but I've not receive a good airdrop with massive profit. The last airdrop I received was just $100 before I claim but lose everything before I could sell it out.

Airdrops are not new anymore but maybe their hype are coming to life again. I still think that many are not enthusiastic anymore to perform them because the scheme of most airdrops now have changed. They are harder and not free now.
