I have the same probelm as well, sometimes when I travel to UK am not able to use most casinos that are working normally in Ukraine therefore at the end of the day I tried using VPN, it was fine for a while but then I stopped and waited to go to Ukraine back since they have banned a lot of individuals from their platform as well and if you are asked to provide an ID, you won't be able to do that at least I can get through that part..
I suggest you to use tunnel bear for small bets only if you are 100% okay with getting your account frozen other than that I think you might have to look at the old gambling options which are not that many. I know it's a sad situation but the laws does not permit and you might not wanna risk it. Still stake.com would be fine, it's good and a responsible platform.

Hi Guys,
I used to use Stake.com Allot, but this a while ago, wonder if there's any good competitors for a UK player using a VPN. Haven't gambled in a while and want to use a new site!
Any new good competitors? I also have a swedish passport so i managed to do one of the KYC's for Stake and it was never an issue.
Thanks!!!

If you are planning on to use a VPN to use a gambling site then be prepares to get your funds frozen on the gambling site.
Make sure you read the terms and conditions of the site before you register on it and find out if the site asks for KYC.
At some point of time if they started asking KYC then you will either have to complete KYC or your funds might be as well be frozen.
Even then if you want to go ahead then gamble with only an amount that you can afford to lose.

I agree with this and believe that it is best not to use any type of software to change your IP address because doing so could result in you being banned and unable to receive your money. Try to find a website that is not blocked by your internet service provider, as most of the online gambling websites that I am aware of are VPN-enabled, and you should avoid breaking the law. Another point to note about KYC is that, provided you have a valid photo ID, you are good to go. I'm not sure why people are using virtual private networks (VPNs) when accessing gambling websites, but doing so will only get you into trouble.

You may not want to discuss or hear about it, but I strongly advise against using a VPN regardless of which gambling site you use. There is a reason that you are banned from a gambling site. You will not be blocked for no reason.

Did OP even mention that he/she was banned from Stake? I think he/she is simply looking for a new gambling site. Perhaps to have a new gambling experience? It's fun to be gambling from one casino to another.

Highly suggest that you don't use a service with a VPN given that it will potentially mean a lot of trouble if they ask for KYC.

Exactly. I won’t support OP to continue using VPN anymore since I have read and witnessed a lot of cases here that have had no conflicts in the beginning but still ended in despair because of using such.

The use of VPN is not illegal. And while it is a case to case basis, gambling casinos do not completely ban VPN use. By using VPN services, gamblers are not automatically violating casino terms and conditions. I guess in most cases it becomes a violation because VPN is being used to avoid being detected that a gambler is playing from a blacklisted or restricted country. The latter is the violation, not the use of VPN.

Wondering why looking for another casino that is BIGGER than stake when most of the advises you can get here is Stake of course because they are the most popular and most trusted UK company in terms of gambling?

and also after almost 6 years of Inactivity here in forum , you woke up just to ask this question?

I think Stake.com, is a casino gambling site that is widely played today, if you have ever explored the site, why don't you continue.

But it doesn't matter if you want to find a new one, that often happens in the world of gambling, bored of the old looking for the sensation of a new gambling site, normal.

So if you want to see crypto casinos in the UK, check out the list below.

I've never had issues in the past, never had accounts blocked. But maybe just because I'm lucky?
Maybe because in the apst , gambling sites in crypto is not that completely knowledgeable about the use of VPN but nowadays? i think they can track the users that is available in VPN.

I don't understand why you wouldn't just sign-up and play on FIAT gambling sites like Dream Vegas, Bet365, Betfair, Matchbook etc since you are ready to submit your KYC at any time.

As some of the posters above mentioned, most crypto gambling sites don't accept UK gamblers and using a VPN to access them is very risky since they could withhold your winnings even if you won them in a fair manner.

I think the best Bitcoin casino that's in the market right now is FreeBitco.in. Granted, it isn't as flashy as most the other casinos, but it has most of the brass tacks features you would find in a website of this magnitude. Sports betting and the hi-lo, premium membership and the Lamborghini lottery, you name it.

Now, I've skimmed through the discussion regarding the VPN quickly in here. The website I linked is not blocked in the UK as far as I know, so you don't have to worry about possibly coming off as a fraudulent user. Casinos are kind of effy when it comes to VPNs in general because the gambling service could be geo-blocked in certain countries as a way to comply with that country's gambling. However, some websites like Stake provide a loophole in their TOS that allows users from anywhere in the world, including that restricted countries, to use a VPN.

Other websites aren't as generous. Some outright would terminate your account and forfeit your balances for the use of a VPN cause of how it may abuse the casino. Online casinos rely on unique VPNs for their games and to prevent abuse. Ultimately, just take a look at the TOS of any given website, its worth it.

Always be mindful about the site's TOS because there were some cases where players had a hard time withdrawing their funds due to banning because of using VPN. Most of the casino sites don't allow it but if your purpose is just to look for entertainment and you aren't risking huge funds, then go ahead and enjoy playing and don't mind using VPN.

You should be careful ever using a VPN when going to gamble - especially with crypto where they can make it even more difficult for you to ever receive a refund. To prevent cheaters or other multi account abuse, there is often a rule buried within the terms and conditions that will allow them to seize any funds of players who use these services. Now, they might let people get away with it for a long time but they always have the option to start enforcing that selectively and it is actually a valid concern they may have as a casino owner. You should aim to use sites which are permitted within your country only, otherwise you could set yourself up for losing a lot of money.

Even if the casino does not include the prohibition of the use of VPN there can easily ban on your account for violation so many casinos who may not feel any wrong in the use of VPN still end up punishing those who access their site by bypassing a restriction.

I will advise against the use of VPN and suggest you search for casinos where people from your region are not prohibited.

as we have several known casinos here that still do not require kyc, i would suggest for the OP to read the ToS first of the site. because nobody will do it for him. because somewhere in between those terms, they will specify their stance towards the use of VPN. so before sending any amount to the casino, make sure that you are clear about the use of VPN. if not stated on their terms, you can inquire it on their chat support and saved it as a snapshot for future use.
i won't play on the chance of having luck about using VPN. because if you are already winning, that's when you will regret about not confirming their terms.
Exactly the point and that is why I always discourage the use of VPN
Casinos and any site that have to do with deposit and withdrawal to avoid my funds being stuck in it will be easy to get a refund when you access a site with your original ip address.

Some casinos may allow the use of VPN because they want to attract new players without restriction but then again if gambling is banned in your region there is no need to risk your funds.

I didn't know any gambling sites that are not strict as stake but my only advice is he must be careful now and make sure to read the terms first before he use a VPN.

Exactly the point, mate. Stake may have allowed OP with the usage of VPN on accessing their site, but other casino’s approval and leniency regarding it is not guaranteed. Therefore, either he finds another casino that will tolerate such, or better yet practice gambling without using VPN. OP may indeed hasn’t been in trouble because of VPN usage, but it doesn’t mean that he won’t be in these coming days.

Most of the new competitors gambling site doesn't accept players from UK and I think using a VPN was not a good idea at all since most of them prohibits from using this for the reason of multi accounts and promotion abuse, I think you should look for a site that won't ask for KYC and allows VPN probably https://www.ltccasino.com/ I see that they prioritize player's anonymity however they don't have promotions and doesn't have sports betting.

I saw in a recent streaming session that Eddie (co-owner) host every Saturday, that Stake are hosting a separate domain that are legal for all UK players to use. It is very restricted and you do not have access to most of the Slot providers and other features from Stake.com, but it is something that you can explore for now.

This was the announcement that was made by Stake.com == https://www.gamblingnews.com/news/stake-com-announces-launch-of-operations-in-the-united-kingdom/ - So you can use Stake.uk.com

Just make sure that it is the correct URL and also take note.... Eddie said it is a work in progress.  Wink

We could just give a list of all the gambling sites we know, but still, @OP needs to try one by one because he doesn't necessarily get the comfort of playing on the sites we recommend.
If KYC isn't a problem for him, he has plenty of gambling sites he can try and I think he could have gotten the list from the other members.
But if he's trying to deposit $100 and win $2000 on Stake, I guess that's fine as long as he doesn't do something that will sound the alarm at Stake.
If that happened, the Stake team would check his account before allowing him to withdraw his winnings.

So let's say I deposit 100 tonight and win 2000 on Stake, will it screw me over when trying to withdraw?
I don't think there's an issue if you try to withdraw that winnings since you've said you're using VPN even if you're from UK, seoinc has said about having a good vpn. IIRC, it's with those issues about stake customer's complain that I've read, the customer is at fault and that's why they can't withdraw. They've broken the rules and that's why they're putting the blame onto the casino even though the real fault is at them. They'll ask you to kyc if they have find some suspicions on your account but if there's none, you can have it without experiencing a problem.
Assuming OP balance is in USD, There's really chance that Stake will check on his account because he manage to grow his initial deposit 20x and withdraw it immediately the day after. And once they check OP account, They will surely notice that he is using VPN because it's easy to check the IP's coming from VPN since they are just using generic IP unless he is using a premium VPN. VPN is not allowed on Stake as per there Terms and Condition while he residing on a country that has a gambling restriction in the site. So this move will definitely very risky if OP insist on playing whilee using it.

Highly likely they might notice you when trying to withdraw. 2000 BTC is a lot and they will have to manually process your withdrawals. So in case they want to KYC you, you probably won't be able to pass the KYC verification. They will know you have violated their terms of service and they can "legally" confiscate all your funds. They will most likely allow you to withdraw your last deposit made but will have to forfeit your profit.
