Well the only logical reason for this fluctuation is that the market conditions are extremely poor and we are in the bearish market.

Well the price has been a bit stable with in $3800 to $3890

it was also stable for a while at 6500

Apparently some ASIC mining rigs were exposed to a power surge in Mongolia. Initiating a hash rate fluctuation over the GPU's.

The market is at work and you are asking what is wrong? May be you should just relax and eat some popcorn and ice cream and watch the market less. Do not stress yourself for the year is just too young to start worrying.

What is going on with bitcoin ? there are many fluctuations in short span of time within a limit of $500? but bitcoin is unable to reach a new landmark and trailing around $4000. what's the reason for these temporary price fluctuations?

First of all: although it's full of unrelated posts and sometimes funny, sometimes not, there's already a (huge) thread about Bitcoin price movements.
I've asked there and I've got an answer. Not a perfect one, however, maybe it helps you more, maybe together with these graphs.
