I am holding Ethereum and Monero as its price will reach to the moon in future
MY fav coin is ELTCOIN
I guess we can't say Bitcoin since that is by far my favorite coin! But in my "vast" amount of different alts, I have to say that I like all of them... otherwise I wouldn't have bought them to hold. But okay, if I were forced to liquidate somehow, and perhaps only keep ONE, then my choice is Waves.
I know, the price looks ridiculous and it has been ridiculous for months now. But every time I open up my Waves, I just am reminded of how quickly it loads, how beautiful it looks, and yet it hasn't even fully developed yet. I know that can be a funny thing to say but when you talk about mass adoption, these things like UI are going to be so important for a platform, with a dex.

I do not have favorite coins, but sometimes I spend more on xlm because he has a small value with a high fluctuating rate, I never hold a coin unless I know the price of the coin will rise high, but spend in xlm has a very high risk compared to other coins, in my opinion ,,

I was interested in MinexCoin until I saw the volume. You have a coin traded on very few exchanges with a market cap of 200m and a volume of 1m? Seems concerning.
I've been holding a few things. I like the ethical standing of Stellar so I nabbed a bunch of that in an effort to help fund the project. I like the idea of a humanitarian effort trying to liberate poorer countries by offering them similar methods of financial transfer. I like Tangle so I've nabbed some IOTA. The one I plan on using the most but am holding for now is Spectrecoin (XSPEC). Privacy coins are kind of my bread and butter. Monero, Dash, are great but they are starting to Moon. Spectrecoin is the one I've been watching closely and recently the dev has started cranking product which has bumped the price a decent amount (still cheap though). They hired a cryptographer as well so the project is heating up. Also the community has a tighter knit than others that I've been involved in.
Now, My favorite coins are Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, IOTA and Litecoin. Both of them are potential coins with the good development in 2017. I believe that they will grow in 2018. Holding them is the best way to get big profit

since were on the altcoin section section therefor i think bitcoin is not counted here? so my next bet is bitcoincash and etherium because these two are far the best coin for me simply because they stand out among the other coins. bitcoincash doesnt have any issues like scalability thats why it is faster and also it is backed by developers and miners. on the other hand etherium also doesnt have any known issues , it is profitable , stable and suitable for longer term of investments , it is also backed by developers ( mostly ico's under smart contracts erc20 tokens ) . so far these were my favorite coins that im currently holding because i believe that they can bring me a lot of profit sooner or later.

The three factors I look at are current price, tech, and growth potential when checking out Alt Coins. Currently I'm into Spectrecoin or Xspec. Xspec is a annon coin that has the capability to work in Tor blocked countries like China and Iran and its tech is solid. It has a nice growing community and some great new developments on the way. I could see this coin tripling in price within the next couple months. On the downside xspec has weak marketing and is relatively unknown at the moment but I'm willing to bet that will all change pretty soon. There are some cryptocurrency or Altcoin that I like best and here I will give you the reason why I hold it.
- Bitcoin. Bitcoin has been proven and famous to be the best cryptocurrency and the price that always rises give us a lot of profit. I have no doubt to invest in Bitcoin.
- Ethereum. Ethereum is the second solution after Bitcoin. If Bitcoin investments have problems, we still have Ethereum. The price of Ethereum is also great.
- Litecoin. Litecoin is equally great and good.
- Waves. Waves have good prospects and may be suitable for short-term investment.

For quite sometime now Ive been hodling stratis for 4 months already I guess. Although my favorite of all time is only Eth, but im giving Strat an exemption.
Strat has been outstanding in terms of price changes. After the correction from few months ago, they still manage to stay in a good shape and surging to new highs afterwards. I can see a good potential in this coin, I have a feeling that this will become one of the best altcoin we ever have. And yeah they are a very active team, I love their passion towards their works.
Bitcoin is the only digital coin i have because i already traded my altcoins to btc lately. I have kept my btc for than a month now and its profit is really astonishing since bitcoin's price is rising. I am also planning to invest in ETH because speculations has it that it can grow to 1000 by next year so i just want to ride with that run.
I'm a really big fan of XMR, NAV and ARK.
