Its been 3 weeks that I've submitted my KYC information to coinsbit exchange and till date it's still under process
I had the same problem as you. After 2 weeks I first emailed them on support channel. They told me in reply that they are very busy with the processing of KYC documents and will solve mine when my turn comes. Then I wait 1 more week but my problem is not solved. Then I complained to their official telegram. Immediately an admin asks me to DM my details. My kyc was approved within 2 minutes after I sent the details. But there are many scammers in their official telegram group. 2/3 scammers DM me using admin's picture and nearby username to send my details.

After reading all these comments about this exchange I think regular users should avoid this exchange if possible. I know some other exchanges like this: Latoken, P2PB2B, whitebit, Azbit, etc. All of these exchanges are full of scam projects and scam IEO. Withdraw fees of any toke from all these exchanges are insane compared to binance, kucoin, or other reputable exchanges. I am not trusting this type of exchange with my KYC data.

Its been 3 weeks that I've submitted my KYC information to coinsbit exchange and till date it's still under process, a friend of mine had account on the exchange and withdrawal is processed everyday, why would they decide not to approved new users because I'm not the only one complaining.
I've experienced problems with another exchange when it's mandatory KYC, maybe this will work because I did this and it worked, keep their contacts in all the support you can contact social media sent support tickets do this if necessary every day, until they actually become and make your account verified, but don't be strange if your KYC will not be processed at all because this is commonly done by shady exchanges to freeze their user accounts and steal the money in this way.

Coinsbit is a well-known scam. This forum has already had many discussions about this exchange. Many users had problems with this exchanger, I understood that Coinsbit deliberately delays the process of withdrawal of funds from your account, all the time requiring from you various confirmations of identity and origin of funds. This is typical behavior of problem exchanges.

Maybe you have to contact support for assistance or do you have a fund already inside the exchange? Most at times before any trade make sure to read instructions about there operation before being stocked and might be probably your credentials isn't neat and visibly.

Wow, I had good experience with Coinsbit exchange years ago, I sold few altcoins on that platform with ease, I expected the withdrawal to go wrong but it came through successfully, I never got scammed on the exchange, send a message to their email they will approve your KYC in hours.

Each user may have a different experience, but one shouldn't ignore the bad experiences of the people who go to great lengths to remind us of this bad exchange. Moreover, fraud warnings have come so many times that it is believed Coisnbit is the exchange most to avoid. Chances are it will be our next experience, they could have set off the crime alarm if we had bigger funds on that exchange.

You got lucky you were not scammed, while others got scammed or got their funds blocked. Coinsbit situation is like that of HitBTC. Whereas other users may get lucky, not have any issues with the exchange. The unlucky ones who get their funds blocked and demanded KYC get fucked.
To me, I can't trust such an exchange, even when I haven't been a victim yet.
Why people couldn't just make out some research first before dealing with some exchange platforms which arent that known or does have lots of issues? If you do make out some research

then you would find out that this platform does have lots of complaints about locked funds on its users which you would really be fucked up in the end of the line.
OP didnt really even give out any update in regard on the situation whether his KYC been approved or he just ignore this one and move on.

I also have the same problem, and already sent an email to their support. but the answer they gave was only told to wait because of manual checking. but it's been more than 2 weeks the KYC status on my account is still waiting for verification.
A scam or shady exchange doesn't care how aggrieved or inconveniences their users/customers are regarding their service because their purpose is to scam their customers. If it was a genuine exchange, you wouldn't have to wait that long without an explanation

This is coinbit.io right?

Have you tried emailing them with this contact?

[email protected]

Or joining their Telegram group in order to make sure that you are not the one in this case? Maybe you can find the possible answer in support group that they have and someone can help you and give you the solution.

My guess is why the OP is waiting for KYC to be approved because the altcoin he wants to sell only traded there, and if my guess is correct then the OP must wait and continue to make contact until his KYC is approved.
Waiting up to 3 weeks and not yet approve will be very annoying but nothing can be done if only the exchange provides trading on coins that we have even though the OP has to consider all bad reviews about coinsbit.

Coinsbit works a bit different. He can deposit and trade without KYC, but to be able to withdraw he needs to pass KYC. Small projects, that run bounty campaign, like to get listed on Coinsbit (I think because listing is cheap and easy). That might be the only reason to use Coinsbit. Because if he wants to trade some top or popular alts, then he might do it on other exchanges, with a larger volume. In his post history, there are no PoA posts with bounties that require Coinsbit address for reward. That is why I find his selection strange.

Why do you need Coinsbit anyway? There are plenty of exchange to use, both with and without obligatory to pass KYC. I am pretty much sure that the altcoin you want to trade on Coinsbit, can be found on other exchange. In trading "time is money". You have already missed your chances, since you have been waiting 3 weeks for KYC approval.

It is strange that you have waited for 3 weeks before starting to think that there is something wrong with KYC. I think one week is enough to check everything. After several days of waiting, you should have already started to write to their support. You are waiting for 3 weeks for KYC check, imagine how long would your problems be solved if you have any. As you say you are a new user there, then I would recommend you to skip Coinsbit and try other exchange.

Why are you even sending your sensitive documents to the exchange. The exchange is a scam

Here are some scam accusations opened against them
> COINSBIT.IO SCAM EXCHANGE + PONZI SCHEME !!!
> coinsbit.io has taken all my funds without any explanation, looks like SCAM
> Notification: Coinsbit/BTCU project
> BEWARE: Coinsbit Scammers Create Their Own Investbox (Yobit style)

i would like to know how real is your Identity submitted to coinsbit exchange, also have you tried to read their countries restrictions. looking like most of the CEX has are country restriction if actually they do.
for your KYC to be easily approved from any Exchangers these format must be met.
1. Do not crop your ID
2. Do not edit edit your ID
3. Do not allow light reflection though your phone while snapping or taking shots.
and lastly, let  your identity be clear and clean, also submit required credential needed.

Reconsider if you want to use the Coinsbit exchange as your daily trade because this is an exchange that has a problem in this forum you should know their reputation here even sometimes they hold your assets without care it should be considered.

If you want to sell tokens from bounties and Coinsbit is one of them, then you have to wait for the KYC approval and it's been a very long 3 weeks and it hasn't been processed yet, it's a bit strange to hear this news but other exchanges certainly won't be that long.

What coins are you going to trade? The coins that you got from bounties and airdrops? Because, if not then you should pick a better exchange. We have lots of them now. Exchanges like binance, houbi, kucoin. Not only that they are more trusted but they could also process a KYC faster than coinsbit.

You cannot compare your friend with you because your friend might be a long time user of this exchange and we do not know what if their policy of approving a KYC have changed lately. You can try following the advice of @crwth. That should shed you some light faster than complaining here because I do not think coinsbit team are active in this forum.

It would not be surprised to see that. it takes 2 months for my friend to be able approved by this shady exchange site. You may face the same thing like that. No ETA, No response from the support and if your token is trading on another exchange site and then you must go there rather than try to waiting this even longer than you expected before. Can you answer this whether your token is trading in another exchange site or not?
I hope that you think again for twice before try to send your KYC to this shady exchange site. This may put your KYC into the big risk as well.
