Long confirmation times : Please send proper and sufficient fees and dont just make a habit of complaining. People do struck with same amount of fee (that was used a week back ). You need to set fee based present bitcoin value.

Too big blockchain data : You never forced to use bitcoin-qt or core. Choose light weight wallets.

No smart contracts : Derivatives are only for advanced users. Still lot of third party projects available for this.

Today I received some bitcoins and to be honest it got confirmed in 10 minutes, so I don't why people always keep on complaining about delay in confirmation time.

well yeah, to be honest gambling is a really big problem of the people and i think that it is a really bad thing to do because it does not give anything but losses in a longer run

my biggest problem with bitcoins that transaction confirmations take that much time to get confirmed, i really dont like it to be honest and i think that it should be improved in the fututre

I pretty much don't mind the transaction confirmation times as long as it is confirmed under an hour. As for all my transactions, I've only had one tx confirmation that went over an hour (two hours, actually) but all in all, it doesn't seem to pose any problem for me just yet.
However, some, if not most, businesses/merchants/shops are directly affected of this issue.

Yes me too have experienced the disorder. My delivery pending for 4 days and that I will use. It was a little disturbing to me and the tires of people who experience it. If it happens continuously it may make us uncomfortable, and hopefully can be immediately corrected.

There is nothing developers can do really about confirmation time. Reason being once the chain is overwhelmed with transactions, miners choose transactions with higher fees and hence some are left unconfirmed. This might happen even with 100MB block size.

You should not worry about payment confirmation. When the transaction hit the blockchain consider it done. If you deal with large amounts I would however wait for 6 confirmation to avoid double spends.

To at least minimize the transaction confirmation time, one can use a web wallet that pays transaction fee. There fees applied on every transaction is vary per amount. So for a decent amount transaction, it will just take a minutes.

Those people that always got lots of crying activity because of confirmation time, I think only sending or receiving small amount like below 50k satoshis. It's common for faucet users.

Maybe next project will bring the fixed way to a solved this problem, let's wait about LN project. for fee cost, i think it's not a big problem because can give their life, and this fee is standard for now. I sure for a transaction with the low amount it's will became a big fee and better for you not to make a transaction with the low amount if you want to withdrawal better to wait for it until became a medium amount.

I think that the main problem for me personaly is inability to spend bitcoins well online and offline, i hope that someday bitcoin will become more popular than now.

Well for me the problem with the confirmation of each transaction is not even a problem for me. As it only takes few minutes for a transaction to be confirmed.
But it is better if the dev team is going to improve that.

My biggest problem of bitcoin is all about i can't reach 1btc. It is very hard and difficult for me to reach that kind of amount btc. 😞 I try all my strategy to reach that. But it is not working. Anyone else any have suggestions to reach that amount? Because it is very important to me now. I'll take a faucet.
