I have heard of bitcoin around 2015, I was 15, and also doing some other jobs online. I thought it was a fraud by then since it requires me to invest money in. Then I Heard of mining and thought it was too trouble. That is why I suffered a lot from then.

At least I learn something, never put a judgement before doing enough research, and never stops at troubles

Now 20k dollars can come out of people who regret a few years, or just a few months later.

My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.
My biggest regret was selling my bitcoin when it is dropping I did not know that it can recover and surpass its previous ATH, I can not fight my emotions when it is dropping in deep.

I originally was an early adopter and bought 2000 bitcoins at $2 a piece and I sold it at $12 as I didnt see it as a viable payment option as nowhere it could be used. I thought it was a good profit.  Afterwards I also shortly owned 2k bitcoins at 4 and sold it at 8. Again a lofty profit as I thought.

But on the other hand many of my bitcoin owning friends have lost all their coins with the downfall of mtgox where i was also trading on.... if you look with this in perspective I feel okay.

recently i bought 20k for bitcoins at 3k and sold them at 6k. if i would have kept them only longer again..........

Wow you got in even earlier than me, I got it when you sold at $12, and lost all 4 through a chargeback scam on Ebay.
I also didn't see it going anywhere. All these other people saying they wish they knew about it back then are doing it with hindsight.

I guarantee most of them wouldn't have bought many back then. The rumour Bitcoin MIGHT hit $100 one day was seen as a pipe dream.

And yes that's before we even get to the MTGOX crash, whereby most of them would have lost their coins anyway, and EVEN if they survived that most would have sold for $1000 way before it got to $15000.

Now I tend to think that even if I had mined a few (hundred? thousand?) bitcoins back then when it was so easy (because I am not so sure that there was a way to actually buy bitcoins back then, there were no exchanges in those days, but I may be wrong here...)  probably without the investment of money I would have forgotten all about them and would have dumped them all together with old disks and forgotten passwords and never be able to retrieve them again. So many people did that!

Looking from that perspective, maybe it is better I never had bitcoins in those very early days. Knowing, that there are millions of dollars not accessible to me would be sooooo painfull!

Yes, I had a lot of such coins and was not close. Two weeks ago I sold 0.05 BTC and now it has doubled but I do not regret it is necessary to go ahead and forget the setbacks

My biggest regret about bitcoin - I invested 1 bitcoin in HYIP 4 months ago, and he didn't pay! And second - I did not apportion capital between bitcoin and Althingi on the exchange, and all money was kept in altonah! But from their mistakes we learn

In my opinion, I don't regret about Bitcoin, because if I still remember the past, maybe I will cry whole day when I have not bought Bitcoin in 2010 or 2011. So, let buy Bitcoin now and look at the future, forget the past.

My regrets to bitcoin do not respond that bitcoin prices will soar like today, imagine if I immediately buy bitcoin definitely I'm already rich, but the opportunity in front of the eyes lost because I made the decision slowly.

bitcoin has many benefits, i get a lot of money from bitcoin. About bitcoin, I regret not having invested in it when it's price is 800 $. If I bought and accumulated bitcoin at that time, then I had a lot of money.
Bitcoin's price is unpredictable, my biggest regret is I have sold it a few days ago at the price of $11000. I don't know that it's price can reach $16.000. I will save more bitcoin from now, bitcoin price increasing is much higher than many Expert prediction.

my biggest regret is I did not convert my php into bitcoin, today's bitcoins value was too high. I'am just late  Embarrassed

It really is, no one thought the price will be going up this far. It is not that I am regretting I did not convert them but I thought there will be a time that it will be doing some little dumps but it did not. Bitcoin is pumping more and more and I think it is time that it starts to dump since it is not stopping from pumping since last week. I wonder how low it will get when the dump comes

Same as yours. Bitcoin was also introduced to me before but I just ignored it because the value is not that big yet and I never thought that the value will rise that high. If only I have invested earlier then I would've been a millionaire already today. I never thought bitcoin will be like this and I really regret it that I didn't paid attention to it before. Although that's what happened, still I am hoping I can benefit from bitcoin.

Of Course, buying sooner is a great regret, but appliable to all succesfull investments.
About Bitcoin particullary I can say that "still" sucks what actually makes it so great:
The local exchange (I live in the so called third world) I had to pay, took a fee from me of about 0.0009 BTC, kind of high for a descentralized and free use system. However there is a  lesson here: Money can be made from fast moving liquids.
