I repeatedly wrote my opinion here. But it is constantly changing. Now I consider very strong coins: NEO, QTUM and ETH.
Is Ark and Wave good for long HOLD? 
It depends on how you believe those coins and as a matter of fact all of the coins has the chance be good for holding.
Wave is a good alt coin and there are so many people that are holding it, so I advice you to keep on holding with waves.
Ark is also a good but I would say that this is trading, you must sell some and hold some.
PAY : I like core-members transparency on community chat. They are reliable.
STX : They seems to be good at advertising. I was surprised Luis Suárez advertised STX on his twitter!

There are many coin in online Market but all time all coin is not suitable for buy and sell . My Best choice is Bitcoin, ETH, Ltc, Xvg etc. My first choice is Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a Great valuable 2nd is ETH and 3rd is Ltc as a same part of cos so it is my favorite three coin.
Is Ark and Wave good for long HOLD?
I have only two coin as of the moment , but looking forward to invest more in some altcoins , I have ETH now because as we can see in the ranking this coin is next to BTC so its very simple for me to invest in ETH , I also have waves just for me to trade everyday when I have an interest to trade to promising altcoins . I plan to invest also to LTC since my friends tells me that this coins is a good coin .
I like currencies that expect from a fundamental perspective.

As what I will state is obvious and straightforward, so it would be Ethereum, Ripple, and Litecoin.

Ethereum was created by J.P Morgan Chase, Microsoft and Intel that is currently the closest rival to Bitcoin. As what I've read an article ago, The New York Times describes it as “a single shared computer that is run by the network of users and on which resources are parceled out and paid for by Ether.” So basically what it does is that, it binds directly to the Blockchain itself.
Ripple, despite being new it gained a quite intriguing entrance since it doubles up its price just after a 24 - hour period. It created a solution that makes the total cost of settlement lower by enabling banks to transact directly, instantly, and with certainty of settlement. So its pretty handy isn't it?
Litecoin on the other hand is quite different since, the sole purpose of this coin is to increase Bitcoin it self. Its like it is Bitcoin but the lite version of it, it you know what I mean. However its drawback would be creating more orphaned blocks.

For me:
Eth: One of the brilliant platforms out there....I consider it the queen of the crypto world (with BTC the king for sure).....DAPP, Smart contracts....
Waves: an excellent competitor to Ethereum....smart contracts
EOS: I believe this one will be a super one

There are lot of altcoin I love. It's pretty difficult to choose 3. But if choose 3 then I pick BTC ETH NEO. Because all of this coins are most popular, good for exchange, have a good future and most promising coin in crypto Industry ever.
Ethereum is a very succesfull project that I've faved for a long time.
Then Waves and Lisk for their strong teams and steady long term uprising.

Ardor because it is better than Ethereum and growing strong very soon.
Das because it is super low and I got a nice masternode up and running. Also it has a strong community growing all the time.
Deeponion because it is just great with a great idea and amazing community. Watch it take off.

Ethereum is one of the most successful projects I have seen in my entire life.
Litecoin also has a lot of potential to grow.
Waves is regarded as an Ethereum killer and I believe in it.

I have established my heart on ETH and for both altecoin I am still hesitant to think about it ,,, because at this time I still monitor on civic and EGC

Ethereum, Zencash and Civic.
Ethereum for its platform, it will be there for quiet sometime now and will hold a strong market over ICO.

Civic for fluctuations, already earned much by trading it.

I have three favorite coins that I always keep. that is:
1. Ethereum (ETH), ethereum is the most popular coin among trader community so I am very happy to do trading ethereum.
2. Bitcoincash (BCH), bitcoin cash has good prospects for replacing bitcoin alternatives, and I'm sure one day bitcoin cash will match the bitcoin price.
3. Paypercoin (PPC), is my alternative coin to mine, because of the low difficulty level and always bring profit when in mine.

MCO, ZEC, OMG are good altcoin to invest this year as these three markets have been stable for a long time and are supported by many communities. I am sure in the future when the Bitcoin market is legalized, these three altcoins will have good prices

ETH has features of smart contract functionality which I like most. LTC adopted SegWit, the Lightning Network and is nearly identical to Bitcoin. It also has some technical improvements over Bitcoin. When it comes to DOGE there is nothing special with the coin but it is one of those undervalued coins and according to the DOGE community it is scheduled to reach the Moon's surface in 2019 so watch out! Actually, every investors has its own basis and perception on the altcoin when investing and we have different kind of methods and strategies so its up to you how you deal with it. 
ETH is a good choice for me with ETH we can buy many good token. See monaco only need 3 month to x20. Then stratis and game is good for me too
according to the statement you answer I am very amazed and I agree that ETH is a good choice to invest there, you are very lucky if still have Monaco (MCO) because the price is very high now, I regret to sell it at very low price with ETH we can buy many good token. Altcoins are nowadays become investment option than bitcoin. I am planning start GPU mini mining farm and it shows that still altcoin mining with the multiple GPU is profitable to us. I would prefer ETH and Monero now since it has good potential to give a profit mining and trading. For third rank I would like to give for BCH since it is been established in many gambling sites recently.
