What do you think about these Telegram games?
I'm relatively new to this area but have played a couple of them but not that long so can't really have an opinion yet so I'm asking for your opinion.  Smiley

Its an airdrop concept that is so popular now but will soon come to fade because of the way things are being implemented. You work hard day and night and spend funds to upgrade your account and buy stuff to level your account, and you're still going to end up getting a dust of the billions supply of their tokens.

This is a huge change from airdrops on old days where you just needed to send your wallet and you would get your airdrop; now you need to do a lot of tasks; they even ask for KYC and pay for an upgrade before you receive a very small portion.

I agree to that, even spending your own money to upgrade and to make sure that you'll be able to make some decent amount of shares but in terms of supplies those billions that will be available that will hurt the value of your stake and sooner or later those who shows interest will fade and will just wait for their time to sell what they already hold.

You need to understand the clear vision of the game and how the developers will engage the project to more potential investors and holders, if you think that after studying the project still got good potential then continue if not then time for you to explore and find a new one.

They are exhausting, honestly.

You are right, most of their games are targeting the spreading of the news about them and mostly by sharing, clicking, reposting, retweeting, or whatever means just so they can get the attention of the masses.
Then, before you could even claim a part of their airdrop, you will have to work hard every day and it's eating a lot of time for a single person. I've heard news about these Telegram games being banned in different countries because some of their workers are not concentrating at work anymore but just tapping their phones.
I guess they built it so no one gets bored but damn, it's too exhausting and that's just one game for me and I already quit.  Cheesy

None of them could be good in the end, these tokens are terrible and results are going to be very hard to achieve on the long run and telegram apps are quite terrible. We need to just focus on what we are going to profit from all of these, there are a lot of trouble on the long run for these tokens as well.

We need to consider how so far we have seen plenty of problems arise from these and people spent insane amount of money on this and we need to remember how this is going to be even worse. We are going to see this changing for the long term as well. Just realize how we are going to see this trend die down and not going to make any money at all, so we are not going to really be assuming anything further about this at all.

The developers are clever, they create a non sense project, they make money from people who purchase their pre-sale tokens, Youtube ad sense, and partnership, then they will distribute "some profit" to their bounty hunters. At the end bounty hunters enrich the developers and they receive not worthy reward from completing all tasks.

People are still hoping a huge reward like ICO pump in 2017...
unfortunately this is the case, people are promised hope and the reality hits like truck.

the truth about these telegram game is that, without the community they are nothing yet these telegram game just hoarding all the money instead of doing service to community by doing huge allocation distribution toward the community.

in a nutshell, the dev just trying to inflate the metric from overpromising, then cash in when time is right.

only very select few project that actually live up to the expectation.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
There are 2 contradictory values, the hype of Telegram games has a positive impact because it has succeeded in bringing new people to the crypto industry. On the other side, these games also have a bad influence because in fact, more of these games trap people into scams which gives a bad image of crypto to normies. I'm sure many of you will agree with what I said, after that it's up to us to help educate people about wise attitudes in viewing a project.
The whole idea of investing and the collaboration was suddenly how telegram recently make a way for crypto because no one actually saw this coming and the idea have been somthing thay everyone wants to copy and it is going to trend for a while because for those that actually understands bitcoin they know that everything about it is based on trend so this period is now for games on telegram the innovation looks interesting but only few projects will still survive because a lot of people might just bail out of it. That's the issue scammers will always want to take advantage of every trend and they will want to invest even the project that they don't have idea about and that is what lands people in trouble in most times. They may even ask for access to their wallet and from there they might end up been hacked.

I've never come across a single case of this hype where the developer specifically asked for access to the user's wallet, which is a possible problem, but there's a problem that has become a problem, namely the exploitation of trends by irresponsible developers, simply copying the work of other developers, and making it their own, which can then end up scamming their users. As an example is X Empire, it was 100% a concept created by Hamster Kombat, they then developed it and in the next few days their token will be listed on several leading CEXs.

What do you think about these Telegram games?
Do you think these games will damage the TON network in the long run and maybe also the crypto reputation? Or do you think people will see through it and stop farming these games?
These projects have actually helped the Ton network gain momentum and growth and have been widely adopted by developers and have also helped increase the network’s users and activity, but on the other hand, these projects for mini-games on Telegram have causeed great pressure on the Ton networkk, and Telegram games will undoubtedly harm the reputation of the network if scam rates increase within it, and there are millions of people who may take a bad impression of cryptocurrencies if they lose their money and time engaging in these games.

With increased awareness,, they will certainly move away from the Telegram games trend and these so-called free airdrops, which have now become a trap for newcomers in the crypto space. The  Click to Earn games trend, like many other trends, will shine brightly at first, only to lose its luster later on. I believe that with the rise of scammy projects and greedy developers, the ideal solution is to stop wasting time on these games altogether.

My honest opinion on these Telegram games is they started well and end up being cash cows for developers. If you check on these games, there are similarities in features, like if you want to get more, you need to upgrade your account and buy stars, and you also need to watch ads if you are active. These are revenue options for the developers.
The participants are in the race to have more shares while the developers are collecting money.

These games are just a trend which will not last for more than two years, I feel that two years is even large to compare how long the telegram games will be taken serious. Already, so many people have abandoned the game because the rewards are not worth it. The first airdrops was more rewarding compare to these new ones that are coming up now.

We have different perspectives about these airdrops, some people keep believing that some of these telegram games will pay huge amounts of money, while people like me don't believe in them anymore because the new projects are suspicious and they come with the intention of milking money from the community.

Ton blockchain owners are allowing all these airdrops under chain blockchain to promote the blockchain. Still, these project owners have started to make TON transactions compulsory so that they can earn a lot from the community since they noticed that some projects that demanded money paid participants that paid to do some TON transaction, and because of this, everyone willing to make money will make sure they look for money to run the transaction to avoid missing out. And they end up paying cents and dust to their participants.
I never believed in them, but yeah we are on the same team here. I never really assumed these would be good ever, and I do not think they will ever be good. Just because one of them did good once in the past, doesn't mean all of them or any of them will do fine. There aren't any "fun" games out there neither, I mean the idea of telegram app making you play every day is something I can see doing great in the future, as long as there is actually a game which makes sense.

Go take a look at "adventure capitalist", a clicker game which is similar and probably one of the first to do this, and people paid millions on playing it and purchasing that game. Looking at this right now, seeing how these telegram games are made, they are worse than that 10+ year old game. Do something new and entertaining and you can convince some people. I believe the more we do this, the more trouble we are going to be in and we should focus on how to get better results.

These developers are making fortunes with all you've mentioned. I stopped paying and upgrading my account because this becomes a cash cow for developers. There was one airdrop that just asked for Ton, and you do not need to do anything; they will give you their tokens every hour.
Just do the math: if one airdrop had 1 million and if half of them paid 1 Ton for upgrades, that's easy money for these developers.
Also, have you all noticed that so many of its best features are paid upgrades, so its not about your effort and time anymore; its the amount of money you can invest.
I'm ok with paying with fees for my allocation but not on paying for the so many upgrades just to have more allocation.
Yes, it is very innovative and also attracts a lot of attention, but all the hype will sink again later. As long as Pavel Durov telegram funder still supports projects from the telegram game ecosystem, it will continue to have an appeal, provided that telegram game hunters want profit. Like now, there are many mini apps that have launched their tokens on centralized exchanges, including Binance, which is also participating in it. However, based on the benefits, to be honest, it is not comparable to what is being done. The number of Mini Apps carried by telegram is countless, utilizing millions of telegram users and then rewarded with airdrop tokens. In my opinion, it's still just a waste of time, you won't get big results from it.

Expectations will always be high for projects where people need to do simple actions and get rewarded for them.. Because it's so easy to do such tasks, people in them don't stick around and get only dimes from the amounts of profit that you mentioned.

It's part of the business, developers build projects because there is potential money in it when hunters are easy to trick where they have to make deals by paying from 0.1 to 0.5 tons.
Not to mention that YouTube advertising has a huge income from its ads, plus pre-sales the dev will pocket a lot of money.

So it's natural that the detractors are disappointed to get what they don't deserve, because the dev only intends to make as much profit as possible instead of developing the project.

I see the hype around some of these tap-to-earn games but i have no interest at all in any of them, i have never played any. I am not surprised about the hype surrounding them, people are allured to whatever they think they can make money from, funny thing is these airdrops disappoint most of them in the end. Developers would not stop launching these games, it is a quick way for them to make money from people.

Honestly, telegram games are waste of time. Remove the profit potential feature then no one will play these games since the gameplay is so basic and boring. Many people just keep playing it since they are expecting for free money while in reality it’s a complete nonsense since the token rewards is just very small.

I’d rather spend my time focusing on side hustle that gives better earnings or play my games on my game console with better graphics and gameplay instead of playing garbage telegram games.

These mini games of telegram are all half baked games.

Ye that's sick. I didn't think of it before I saw that post Gem Institue.
I'm also ok with paying a fee but as you saying, not for everything possible like daily fee, upgrade and more.
Well said!

I think we have the exactly same perspectives. Smiley

Yes, in the beginning it was really cool concept though, until they've incorporated some of this concept like you need to buy some TON, minimum 0.5 to upgrade your account and supposedly you can buy more to harvest more = more CATS or whatever the project is.

So if you love those tap to earn games, then somewhat you are going to fall for this trick. However, I've seen some fatigue as well, as months after months you have to do it and then when the upcoming airdrops comes along, you are going to disappoint as how much you are going to received and maybe in the end you really going to lose some big money with this kind of Telegram games.
Yeah you're right, it's sad because when it comes something new and good it always brings people with bad intention that trying to take advantage of it and earn some fast money.

Telegram games are becoming like a scam now a days and many people that had been a victim are now retracing their ways because why would an airdrops that is never retroactive be asking for an OG pass because you can get an airdrop from them. Cats airdrop is one of the most useless airdrops I've seen not different from the once that scammed their community and now we are seeing that MemeFi is following the same part which is to extort money from the community and leave them with airdrops that worth nothing. These devs are criminals and they do not have respect for their communities. I think many gamers and miners are now very careful of falling victim again.
I feel the same, its pure scams and they don't care about their tokens future they only care about to milk their community as much as possible and I think it will harm the reputation of TON and Crypto.

It was good back then, nowaday? not so much many of these so called devs are just trying to milk people into giving them money.

moreover most of their airdrop aren't even worth mentioning, I think trend has shifted, and what's left of these telegram games are just some mediocre project which sole purpose is trying to be rich and become cash cow for the developers.

I think this sentence is so incredibly illogical "Promote TON blockchain" and then you have to send them 0.2, 0.5, 1 TON. Myself have paid some games but not many of them and now everyday you see a new game with the same sentence  "Promote TON blockchain"  Grin
And you can also make daily transactions, I played dogs but very little and it felt legit and you didn't have to deposit money, but these cats, hamsters and others have been really ugly that take your time and money even if it's a small amount. And in the end for what? For nothing? And the reason they continue with new phases is to milk out more and more money right?
exactly, they are just trying to milk people in the name of promoting ton blockchain, what they are doing on the other hand, aren't promoting, but instead give bad impression to ton users.

I have seen many similar posts about Telegram airdrops and to be honest, it is just another hype that will soon fade away. Check how the Telegram coins listed through those games are doing in the market and you will see that there is nothing so special about them. Some of them like Harmster Kombat, are already near their death, others will follow because they are practically built on nothing other than they hype. Anyone taking part in those games should just be smart about them and never invest what they cannot afford to lose.
