Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
There are 2 contradictory values, the hype of Telegram games has a positive impact because it has succeeded in bringing new people to the crypto industry. On the other side, these games also have a bad influence because in fact, more of these games trap people into scams which gives a bad image of crypto to normies. I'm sure many of you will agree with what I said, after that it's up to us to help educate people about wise attitudes in viewing a project.

These developers are making fortunes with all you've mentioned. I stopped paying and upgrading my account because this becomes a cash cow for developers. There was one airdrop that just asked for Ton, and you do not need to do anything; they will give you their tokens every hour.
Just do the math: if one airdrop had 1 million and if half of them paid 1 Ton for upgrades, that's easy money for these developers.
Also, have you all noticed that so many of its best features are paid upgrades, so its not about your effort and time anymore; its the amount of money you can invest.
I'm ok with paying with fees for my allocation but not on paying for the so many upgrades just to have more allocation.

Yes, in the beginning it was really cool concept though, until they've incorporated some of this concept like you need to buy some TON, minimum 0.5 to upgrade your account and supposedly you can buy more to harvest more = more CATS or whatever the project is.

So if you love those tap to earn games, then somewhat you are going to fall for this trick. However, I've seen some fatigue as well, as months after months you have to do it and then when the upcoming airdrops comes along, you are going to disappoint as how much you are going to received and maybe in the end you really going to lose some big money with this kind of Telegram games.
Telegram games are becoming like a scam now a days and many people that had been a victim are now retracing their ways because why would an airdrops that is never retroactive be asking for an OG pass because you can get an airdrop from them. Cats airdrop is one of the most useless airdrops I've seen not different from the once that scammed their community and now we are seeing that MemeFi is following the same part which is to extort money from the community and leave them with airdrops that worth nothing. These devs are criminals and they do not have respect for their communities. I think many gamers and miners are now very careful of falling victim again.

At some point, when the hype is still there then it's fruitful for most of the people that spots out these games. But then, because of it being capitalized by hype, it will eventually forgotten and majority of the people will stop farming with those games. They're not actually games at all as the essence of real life games isn't there. It's made to farm for those joiners of airdrops.

And the real world application of it isn't really amazing at all. While the participants are quick to join them, the developers are the real winners here. Let's say if they're making 1 cent per transaction done by all of the joiners and they have 50 million users globally. You do the calculation and it's not just a one time thing that they're making at all. The distribution and valuation of the token that they're releasing to the public isn't a lot compared to how much money they have already made.

Exactly and people should open their eyes. Long time gone into those interest and hype about TG games on which it turned out that it is really that an easy money for its developers now.

You could really be able to expect for this thing to happen on which whenever the hype builds in into a particular trend then those scam devs will really be making use of it at the advantage.
They will really be going along with the waves and trying out to take advantage of the hype. On the moment that they do build up that momentum then they are really that trying out to
milk users via having those kind of purchases and upgrades.

I can consider out that TG games now are already that shit and not really worth of the time. Long time gone after that $NOT and $DOGS hype.

Do you think these games will damage the TON network in the long run and maybe also the crypto reputation? Or do you think people will see through it and stop farming these games?
In crypto everything is trend, currently we are in the telegram mining app game trend, when the trend dies down, we will hardly hear about all those games, and currently, people are already losing interest in all those games because they didn’t get the reward that they were expecting in most of those airdrops. People received little reward from catizen, Hamster Kombat paid dust to people, cats paid dust also, so people are already losing interest. I saw people delete their telegram account after selling their Hamster Kombat coin, they received so little amount, and their expectations were so high, but they get disappointed. So time will come when no one will even be talking about all those games again, another trend will be coming up.

And you can also make daily transactions, I played dogs but very little and it felt legit and you didn't have to deposit money, but these cats, hamsters and others have been really ugly that take your time and money even if it's a small amount. And in the end for what? For nothing? And the reason they continue with new phases is to milk out more and more money right?
People didn’t complain about dogs because they received a reasonable amount of money, and all they used was your telegram age and some basic tasks that you will have to perform. But cats were asking people to pay for daily transactions and requested 1 ton for one particular transaction, but people ended up disappointed after listing the coin.

We have different perspectives about these airdrops, some people keep believing that some of these telegram games will pay huge amounts of money, while people like me don't believe in them anymore because the new projects are suspicious and they come with the intention of milking money from the community.

Ton blockchain owners are allowing all these airdrops under chain blockchain to promote the blockchain. Still, these project owners have started to make TON transactions compulsory so that they can earn a lot from the community since they noticed that some projects that demanded money paid participants that paid to do some TON transaction, and because of this, everyone willing to make money will make sure they look for money to run the transaction to avoid missing out. And they end up paying cents and dust to their participants.

The forum of keyboard warriors & crypto pro's!
What do you think about these Telegram games?
I'm relatively new to this area but have played a couple of them but not that long so can't really have an opinion yet so I'm asking for your opinion.  Smiley
Do you think these games will damage the TON network in the long run and maybe also the crypto reputation? Or do you think people will see through it and stop farming these games?
Because let's be honest, an air-drop and a release could and should happen without having to farm a game for weeks, even months and surely these games are there for the team to make money and not to build a brand?
I think this sentence is so incredibly illogical "Promote TON blockchain" and then you have to send them 0.2, 0.5, 1 TON. Myself have paid some games but not many of them and now everyday you see a new game with the same sentence  "Promote TON blockchain"  Grin

What do you think about this? Is this good or bad for TON and crypto in general?

My personal opinion is that they focus too much on invites into the game so it favors content creators/famous people or other projects that have a task that you need to play a other game, I think that's wrong because not everyone have like 10+ friends that you can demand want to join these games, it should just be enough that you are active time to time, its more or less impossible to invite a lot of people and also spend a lot of time + do daily tx's.

I saw an article on Gem Institue's Telegram channel. I am attaching a picture so you can decide for yourself.
