Imo it's always best and the most stable (in crypto terms that is) if your portfolio is built some bigboy coins like BTC/ETC.
Having said that, if you have a decent chunk in them you might as well experiment with other coins and given all the thousands of scams out there Link (and to some extent ADA even if I disagree) are pretty safe choices.
Just avoid switching always when 1 is rather low and the other is rather high.

In a bearish market like this DCA is the best option and its a proven tactic to be rewarded in the long run. Most of the coin's price is below 70% from its ATH which is pretty much an accumulation zone. BTC would be a safer choice than Link and Ada as altcoins are all dependent on the volatility of bitcoin, if your prediction is that the uptrend is coming then bitcoin will recover faster and stronger.

If I were you in that place, I rather buy Bitcoin than buy another batch of link, just keep your Link don't sell yet, and, wait for the perfect timing to sell. if you sell it you will never get recover.
