You are right, Everyone is correct in what they say, but no one has speak the truth. Many forum members are not there to learn more about cryptocurrency; rather, they are there to gain reputation and participate in worthwhile campaigns in order to make money. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as most of us who respond to this comment are forum members, and the majority of things that make some people money are campaigns. This is what I'm saying because no one has discussed the campaign in the forum, which is what attracts newcomers here in the first place.

As a newbie, you must understand about cryptocurrency so that you will have the confidence to write a good post that will help earn merits. I have seen numerous posts in the forum where a newbie complained about how to earn merit and that he had no idea about cryptocurrency. Earning money in forums by taking part in campaigns is not a bad idea, but many people don't understand the process of it.

Basically, this place is a wonderful place to learn about crypto currency and all the rest, and I believe there are many people here who are also learning from bitcointalk.org. There are also many members who don't know their purpose on Bitcointalk. That's why, when you see them, those who are not here to learn, you will know that this person is not serious about learning. With their lies and their inactive status, you will know their purpose here.

Yes, you are right, newcomers do ask about Bitcoin because they don't know what Bitcoin is all about. Any users who come to Bitcoin talk and ask for forum rules, I believe that the user is the type that wants to learn about Bitcoin.
On this forum there are a lot of people and interesting discussions that can keep you busy also. There was a day when I forgot to make my house choice because I was busy discussing a particular thread, so Bitcointalk is an interesting forum and I believe that everyone has a purpose here.

Yes forum befome a mainstream platform for knowledge and hub for ideas regarding bitcoin. But when it comes to investment side, there are other that you could use. Here most discussion aims to expand how bitcoin works. Yes there are some ideas on investment but its just an added value to what you could gain here.

This is the same as when you join a community with a hobby that you like. like a car modification community. so you will join the community and take part in community activities.
You like Bitcoin, and even before you get to know the forum, you trade Bitcoin from your friends and communities on social media. then join the forum to discuss anything related to Bitcoin and other Crypto.
do you like trading? The forum has a place to discuss it. do you like mining? Forums also have a place for that. There are also many crypto communities on social media. but I'm sure quite a lot of them also join this forum.

Mostly sign campaigns and there are some sections which I like commenting on and read people's experiences, also you find solutions to your crypto problems here.

Edit: I like playing contests here too and earning something while doing so, IPL contest was blast!

I feel your purpose to be here is to Create topics like this one. It's useless.

It's great if you are here to learn knowledge about Bitcoin and you will surely be supported by many Bitcoin gurus here. However creating topics like this one is unnecessary, because frankly say, it's useless.

Everyone want's learn about bitcoin and other crypto currency, and one thing that might everyone denies and won't admit, earn money at the same time, while doing this things.

Asking about Bitcoin is a must if you are new here, but with time you'll find this forum offers more than Bitcoin discussion. You can discuss anything that interests you, gain knowledge, get updated with news, gain friends, and share interesting things... And then you'll forget about your purpose or whatever, and just log in because you like it. It'll become a habit and it's fun! So newbies should look for the bigger picture... don't just think about merit, signature, bounty, or whatever aside from discussion. Nowadays it's difficult to engage in a meaningful discussion outside your IRL circle. Enjoy this forum while it lasts!

For sure because this is a forum about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin the main purpose of most of the members here or even me is to gain knowledge about cryptocurrency, to be honest, I just joined here because I just need some help so I really just ask some question about my problem on my cryptocurrency investment and that is why I see this forum on how useful it is. Because I could easily ask it if there is something that I didn't know I mean yes you could just do research about it but there are some that you can't really find on research accurately something like instructions or you are just new to a Bitcoin wallet and then you want some suggestion or can you do something like this on your Bitcoin or something like that on your wallet, members here are going to suggest you because they already have a lot of experience about that. That is just when I find this forum really useful. At the same time, one of the reasons I was really motivated to post on my account was because there are some bounties or signature campaigns available that you could probably earn a decent amount of money, for sure you are kinda familiar with bounties, and not every time you could be lucky and earn on that project since there are a lot of them that is just a big scam. learning and earning at the same time was just great, I mean you dont really need anything here in the forum you dont need to post you could just post if you need some help or you could help them as well if you experience there questions you want to put some suggestions.

Your aim here is to learn about bitcoin, that is exciting to hear from you, but know that everyone you see hear have their own reason of been here. The only things, I think some of people are here is because of bitcoin and earning to survive. Please focus on what brought you to the forum.

My initial goal was of course because there were lots of airdrops and bounties here and many were successful in providing large income. But that happened several years ago and is certainly different from today. As time went by I began to understand what my purpose was in this forum, continuing to develop my skills in everything related to crypto and forums, becoming a manager, translator and investor in several projects. I have done a lot while on the forum which of course provides more value for myself, not just hunting for airdrops and bounties

While a lot of us here are motivated to join the forum in seek of profits, but isn't it more appealing and meaningful if we seek knowledge and skills at first so we will be able to maximize our profits later on.

Personally, my focus here is to become an inclined Bitcoin investor and stabilize my finances through gaining adequate knowledge that will be a great help so I can achieve my goal successfully.

Everyone has a reason for joining here, and understanding why they joined should not influence your perspective on why you are here. It is something private, perhaps he should only be known to them and not shared.

Is this truly important? Most people will give you similar replies, and the majority will be the same as yours. So just concentrate harder on reaching the goals that led you to the forum.

The reason I'm here may not bring any knowledge to you, OP, because it may not matter to a newbie if I'm here to learn bitcoin and international cultures of forum members and how bitcoin is expanding in their country. Whether it's banned or legalized in their country. Learning is the aim of the forum, that is why what you wish to learn in this thread isn't relevant to your stay here. The answers will always revolve around learning. So, the right method to learn here is to read and share what you've read in the forum. It'll help enlarge your horizon on that specific subject, as many views will be contributed, which boost the understanding of any topic about bitcoin. Therefore, creating value to you and other readers in the forum. Some ranked members will also need to refresh their memories on that topic or subject. In a nutshell, knowledgeable threads will fetch you important resources to further read or study bitcoin.

I don't know what you intend learning by knowing the reason why users join Bitcointalk. Obviously this is a discussion forum for Bitcoin and other whatnots, and if you have any interest whatsoever in Bitcoin you would find your way to register here. Quite a lot of people register just to ask questions and seek solution to some Bitcoin related problems that they have, and after that they don't log in again.

Having said that, signature campaigns help to maintain the forum's traffic and keep so many of the users active, thus they earn from their contributions to discussions that take place on the forum, and it is a win-win.

What do you want to achieve with opening this topic, this is a generic topic and all the response that'll be posted here (answering your question) will be an attempt to ass lick meriters for merit because when the answer are those that sounds positive to the forum, people will be moved to merit the users. Apart from to gain knowledge on Bitcoin, interact with like-minded enthusiast and earning, what others respond are you expecting to get and when you do get those respond what do you intend to do with them. I believe I talk for other when I say we careless about the reason why others joined the forum but since we all have found ourselves here we have to work together in making to the forum conducive for productive discussion.


Is this thread of yours doing just that? I guess not and that's why this thread isn't that necessary. This is the beginners and help board, so create useful threads that'll be of help to those browsing through the board. If you find the platform helpful then you owe it to others to also make the platform to be helpful to them by contributing positively to the forum and the best way to do that is to always drop quality threads, replies etc.

I registered in this forum to gain vast knowledge on bitcoin,unkwown to me that they are other benefits attached to the forum and not just learning bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large. I am still learning, and at the same time investing in bitcoin which wasn't part of my agenda when i joined the forum,but if one have the knowlegde of bitcoin without having the experience of owning bitcion,your knowledge isn't complete yet. Earning from the forum is something that i have also benefited from because it was when I registered and was consistent with the forum that i understood that one can earn from signature campaign,I must say it signature campaign has really helped me finacially.

Stating the reason why you’re here after so much time without being asked looks like merit fishing to me. Newbies have been reprimanded a lot for asking questions about how to earn and start bounties, so I think you saying you’re here to learn and acquire knowledge about bitcoin sounds like you’re only trying be politically correct and win favour from the community.

Bitcointalk has its advantages and there is no crypto forum or community that comes close to what’s being achieved here.

TBH, if you were to ask me the same question multiple times, my answer would remain the same Bitcoin, Bitcoin, Bitcoin. I've always had a keen interest in technology, leading me to acquire various technological skills such as UI/UX design and development. However, at a certain point in time, when Satoshi introduced blockchain technology and people started embracing this new phenomenon, I became curious. I felt the need to immerse myself in blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency that pioneered it, which is no other than Bitcoin.

A lot of people will tell you they joined here to gain knowledge and nothing more than that, but it's only a few people who are truly here for the knowledge part; a lot of us are here both for the knowledge and the earning.
 
If I am to be realistic enough, Me joining this forum from the beginning was for me to acquire so much knowledge about bitcoin and other crypto currencies, wallet security, and all of that, learn how to be useful in the community, and be contributing, but those things alone could not have made me as active as I am in the forum today.

But when I gain knowledge to some level where I notice I can also earn from the forum, why then do I have to be given attention to other places looking for green pasture when I can get it here? So going back to your question, I'm here to gain knowledge and experience and also make some cool earnings. It won't be complete if I don't add the earnings aspect, because that will be me lying to myself.
