Nothing lasts forever
BTC is not so stable as you mention here. The price has been fluctuating from $7500 to $8000. Though this movement is continuous from past few days I wouldn't call it to be stable.
BTC has just started gaining momentum and had faced a minor correction now. It surely needs time before it could start the next rally.
From bitcoin's history we could make out that it has faced a correction every time when a bull run has occurred . The altcoin's are pumping because the traders are moving from and into it simultaneously.
While some traders are selling btc to buy back alts at less price some are moving money from fiat to btc and btc to altcoins.
May be this is the reason why BTC is fluctuating between $7500 - $8000 and the alts are pumping.

To me I don't see the price of BTC as being stable alts I have in my bag such as PTOY, SRN, HMQ and GO hasn't made any significant move in price for days now. If Alts are to pump, Btc rally needs to stabilize as has always been the process.

In the past few days, btc has been hovering around 7800 usd, and all the altcoins have begun to rise. What is the reason for this?
Investors diverting their assets making some movements that will allow their investment to grow by playing with respective Alts that they've seeing potentials, a good way to make your Bitcoin grow is by reinvesting it to alts and move it back when Bitcoin start to mooning again.

Such things happen for a shorter time. Bitcoin always leads on change on every bull and bear market and as its price gets stable, rapid change starts in altcoins. One of the reasons for it might be the bitcoin acting as the main currency pair. When bitcoin is increasing, people don't buy alts with bitcoin but while it gets stable, they start buying altcoins and vice versa.

In the past few days, btc has been hovering around 7800 usd, and all the altcoins have begun to rise. What is the reason for this?

Bitcoin value fluctuating in the marketplace and seems grabbing good value in coming days.

I wish bitcoin should not be stable at all.
This coin always needs to grow in the market and we need to have the market volume and demand should play big role to increase the price and we all need to grow the value.

As BTC began to consolidate, this means that some traders take profits. Perhaps part of the profit goes to altcoins, which creates a rise in prices. This is hardly new money, because there is not so much hype for attracting new money.

In the past few days, btc has been hovering around 7800 usd, and all the altcoins have begun to rise. What is the reason for this?

I guess there is no exact reason why bitcoin price has up and down many times, and it's happening in every day. The altcoin will follow wherever bitcoin moves and many of them still increase even if bitcoin price is down. But some of the altcoins will following bitcoin to get down and waiting for the next moment to increase again. And now, bitcoin price has increased again and the altcoin following to increase too, and we see the market will make another green candle again.

The definitions of stable have been updated?

Bitcoin has just swung over 100% in a couple of months.

That's not being stable at all.

It was predictable that after BTC other altcoins would pump.

I think BAT for instance is ripe for a major pump soon.

In the past few days, btc has been hovering around 7800 usd, and all the altcoins have begun to rise. What is the reason for this?
This is the psychology of traders and holders. Bitcoin is the core crypto in the crypto world so when the price of pair BTC/USD rise, they will change altcoins to BTC with the hope their balance increase, and when BTC stable, people will buy back what they sold.
Not sure if our opinion was true if you are seeing the price of bitcoin was stable and that's indicating of those bitcoin holders are using new money rather than dump their bitcoin to move to the altcoin.
you should identify what should be the impact from the jump that created by bitcoin traders to altcoin. If there was no impact and they have been putting fresh money to pump altcoin.

Well bitcoin not was so stable, but i think the altcoin grow because people start buy some altcoins and i think they bring new money and not convert their bitcoin for altcoins, but i think we are still far from a bull run.
