Of course I will sell at the time of halving not before that as selling now is not profitable enough but if I hold for next couple of months then I can enjoy good and higher profits.

Be sure and be prepared, because at times of halving if the price goes very high exchange might shut as they get into bulk transaction as more users were planning to sell on halving.
That's true. Or else you will never get the opportunity to exhange it into higher price. So i hope that at the time of halving, you will get the first line to exchange your bitcoin.

will sell my bitcoins after halving, as the price might jump up after halving so expecting to earn some good profits, so will hold till then and sell when it crosses $500.

the problem is not when you sell them, the problem is identifying the new bottom to buy back without remaining behind

this is the hardest part, new peak is more easy to guess than the new bottom

sell whatever you have at the peak of the halving hype because a drop is inevitable after it pumps

Yes there will sure be a dump after its hype and we must be careful with this so that we wont lose profit when we buy bitcoins its better just to sell once and study the chart carefully.

if you want to be a real investor i believe it is actually way better to hold it form a few more years because in my opinion people will pump the prices even more in the future thus allowing to make even more

im selling my bitcoins only if the price starts dropping significantly then i rebuy it at a small price and start making profit once again easily, hopefully i will do that once again during halving

Around this time it is not the best moment to sell it and that is because the value is now not rising and keeps stable so we have  to be patience to wait for a price increase.
To choose a moment to sell your Bitcoins is hard because it can also be higher after you sell your coins and than you will regret that, so it was sold it too early and that is not good.
The selling moment of Bitcoin is important, that is the moment that you can make profit with Bitcoin.

I sell whenever there is a large enough dip that it would likely be profitable. That is how you stay in the green

Yes this is what i also plan to sell my bitcoin so that i can gain profit i will sell it when there is a large price hike that i see in the market.

May be that dream of yours can be achieved at the time of halving, and most of the people are holding now and planning  to sell their bitcoin at halving when price goes higher.

OP's plan sounds extra-lard-dipped retarded.  This is why people lose money: They buy high and sell low.  It's like investing dyslexia.

I'm currently not selling bitcoin, I'm buying slowly.  Think we're due for a spike.

I think I'm selling mine when they go under 400$, which I hope will never happen, but might even happen today the way it's going down now.
On the other side I think I will sell them at around 900$
I think I will sell some of mine bitcoins when the price is around $500-$600. I bought my coins for less then halve so it will be a nice profit. I can still wait longer but I could really use the money.

I don't consider the price on selling. When I was in hard need of cash I sell based on my requirement.
yeah i will sell my bitcoins only if i desperately need money for a living, in my opinion only then would be a good decision to sell part of my coins i own right now

i believe i will not sell any of my bitcoins any time soon right now because i dont need any additional money and i hope that it will allow me to make some good money if i will keep it as an investment

I don't think it is a good idea to have bitcoins just to cash out when you have made enough profits.

There are users who consider bitcoin to be a income for their partial expenses. So cash out is also given priority by more users. Cash out is not a good decision only if one saves every coin for future comfort.

Most user really do bitcoin just as a part time and they cash out most of the time so that they can have extra money to pat things, cash out is still good if you are not into bitcoin with all your money.

Indeed, for the people it will be very nice these and it does not matter of they will lose a bit of profit, if they still will make nice profits.
I think I'm gonna sell my bitcoins when the price is good and I hope it will be after the halving or at the end of this year.
