It's not prediction it's only statistics for last years. Every bull market bitcoin grow approximently 16x

2011 year : (1$-30$) ,
2013 year: (100$ - 1149$)
2017 year : (1000$ - 20000$)

Last bull market was ended in january and on the statistic bull market continues approximently  one year. Bearish maret on the statistic continues approximently 10 mounth and if look on past periods, next bull market begin in october - december 2018. Therefore based on past years  can to make computation next price bitcoin:
2020 year:  6500$ x 16 = 104 000$ ?

Guys it's only statics as per past years, don't accept this how accurate prediction  future.
The problem with that data is that you have very few points that you can refer in order to try to speculate what it's going to happen with the price in the future, so I do not see a reason to believe that this is in some way meaningful, I think that price is possible but in the next 10 years, it could happen sooner and I will be very happy if that happened, but it is better to be conservative than to be disappointed with the fact that your prediction does not come true and then sell your coins out of panic.

It was merely a competent price of bitcoin if we used to experience it in the future of cryptocurrency, and predictions wise is always an inspiration for everybody who really hope for that value to be achieved. Don't ever sell your coins when you're in panic, instead you must be strong adn determined in order to survice the current situation. Those possibilities is always there to happen, just stay calm and easy.

that's a good question.. I think that won't happen before 2025
That feels pretty realistic especially with how the up and downs go in the Bitcoin market. Quite a few mental barriers along our way up.

I would just loosely say "the next bubble". That could be closer to 2020 (halving season), or it could be 2025 or later. I'd bet on the former though, because I think the extremely limited supply will always drive prices up speculatively before adoption goes exponential.

Either way, timing any market is nearly impossible, let alone a market with less than a decade of price history. Cheesy

Yep, perhaps prior to the next halving we might see another bubble form topping at $100,000 followed by another bearish trend. Because its only logical that after the next halving, those bag holders who accumulated will have to liquidate at some point it time, which means another cycle will follow soon after that. But another question though is that how miners are going to be affected by this halving and what's its correlation on the future price of bitcoin.

That is a good question but I think it will never happen because this price is too high that nobody will buy it. In my country $100000 is very big amount and I can even buy a readymade big house. I will never invest in bitcoin if the price ups more than $30000. In my view there should be a limit for bitcoin so that everyone is able to invest in it to earn some money.

I don't think that year bitcoin will become 100k dollars. Because of the people bitcoin reach again 20k dolars they start selling and the price start decreasing again . But if we can control yourself to hold your bitcoin everything is possible to happen what ever how much price we want we can achieve that.

I do not think that bitcoin ever will ever reach the price of that thousand dollars. If bitcoin will grow significantly in price, each time there will be obstacles to its growth and it will fall in price. Charts are one thing, but real life is different. Especially, in 2020, which is just over a year. In many ways, the cost of bitcoin in 2020 will depend on how well it finishes this year.

It's very hard to achieve this price but yes it may happen in few years and we expect this to happen very soon as well. Investors are eagerly waiting for such moments to occur. If this year trend is like 2017's trend then yes there is a possibility for a big hit.

I doubt bitcoin will be able to reach 100k by 2020, and I think the holders will not be able to patiently hold up to 100k, before the price of 100k is reached then many will sell for profit.

If the market is sensitive to news, it has both good and bad sides. By 2020 all news about bitcoin are good, the market may look like 2017, prices will increase 20 times. We have the right to hope (although i only trust 1% Grin).
there is no guarantee the next year there is no negative news, there could be more negative news than at this time. hey don't be too hopeful, it will make you sorry  Grin

That is an achievable goal, but to me, i do not think it is possible in the nearest time. it will probably be in a decade Sad
That's achievable given by the good position of bitcoin to market we can witness that state of price but as you've said it is nowhere near this year nor the next one it is the unrealistic figure to assured though we can speculate these prices as long as you wish to the content of your heart even with some speculation of $1 million they can do that, the current state of the price and its development is not possible for now.

I dont believe we will see $100 000 Bitcoin by end of 2020. Of course there is a chance but it is a slim chance. More likely we will see over $100k Bitcoin in year 2021 or even 2020. Of course we are talking about maximum price here. not an average or a bottom.

Yeah, halving has always come with some pretty good increase and so far, we have seen that bitcoin tends to increase within the same certain sequence interval over the years since inception. Yes, this is not something we can say one can be sure of yet, but I am sure during this year, we may likely have this come into play.

Nevertheless, we also have to understand that the bull year have always started above the previous ATH or close to the previous ATH, so in that case, I would even be going more bullish in value if we are to make it look more like the market doing a x16 at around $19800. That would be some whooping amount of money.

By 2020, I don't think that it will go base on your analysis though I appreciate OP's analogy on how he come up with that year. But there's one thing that makes me believe that it's possible since this is a speculative market and whether ETF goes live or not, we got halving by 2020.

Although the trend of bitcoin has been given in the past, this year is a very bad year. Many new altcoins and fake ICOs are becoming new pumps, and these altcoins are scattered among bitcoin funds and investors!
There will always be a downtrend year, as you cannot expect that bitcoin would just keep going on.
You think the years in between those bull year mentioned, did not have some huge drop in price as well ? Then, maybe you should reverse on history and go check it out.

As it is, I believe that what we are having now is just some healthy correction and with the potential growth in the future, people should keep seeing it as a chance to get in at a good price rather than seeing it as a bad year. It is not a bad year, it is just a bear year, how bad it is or how good it is, depends on the way you want to take it.

That mean we should expect another bull run from January next year. However,  if ETF is approve then bitcoin heading towards $50,000 to $10,000 will be possible before end of 2019. I have seeing how many of us here has predicted bitcoin's price and your predictions came to pass and I believe that in the next one year we should have a good time in our investments.

I don't expect the ETF to pass until late 2019 or 2020 mid quarter. I think it's going to be harder than most people think, to get the ETF done. They want to kill the last noob standing and they want to hold all the BTC before they pass the ETF and the price goes to jupiter. At this point, there's simply way too many noobs with absolutely no knowledge on the fundamentals holding bitcoin, which must be moved into smarter wallets.

Once this process is done and all the bitcoins have been re-distributed accordingly, the price will go to 6 figures and the talks of world reserve currency will start showing up on mainstream media. By that point the future rothchilds will already be formed as most noobs gave away their bitcoin to them.

The price is tempting, but because of the decentralized nature of bitcoin that makes bitcoin's value unpredictable and the increase in bitcoin depends on market adoption, and I think there is no guarantee that the value of bitcoin will increase as you predict.
Guarantees don't exist, but Bitcoin has proven to do that what no one even could imagine realistically.

If you would have asked me in 2016 when I expect the price to reach the $20,000 mark, I would point at 2020 just before or after the block halving. If you told me it would happen in 2017 I would advise you to seek professional help.

In other words, never underestimate what Bitcoin is capable of with how little circulating supply there actually is. $100,000 is perfectly possible to happen before or just after the block halving in 2020.

$1 to $10 was insane already. $10 to $100 was what people didn't believe in. $100 to $1000 is crazy for something that has no physical form. $1000 to $10,000 can't be described with words. $10,000 to $100,000 is possible.

The only challenge is $100,000 to $1,000,000.

This is impossible, we are in the year 2018 and we are already at the end of 2018 and price is  $6500. so if next year we do not have approval of some ETF we risk the end of the year while the price is less than $10,000 and after 2019 we could end up at $ 20,000, and you're making calculations of $100,000? this is impossible.

Guys it's only statics as per past years, don't accept this how accurate prediction  future.

Oh you can be sure that I do not really believe

the increase in bitcoin depends on market adoption, and I think there is no guarantee that the value of bitcoin will increase as you predict.

That's why I believe it's impossible.

It's correct. This market is very sensitive to news and can be seen as a news-controlled crypto market. All cryptocurrency fluctuates when news hits the market and bitcoins too. We can see that in 2018 there is too much bad news and it causes the prices of bitcoin and altcoin to fall very deep compared to the end of 2017.

Yea like this guy said $100k is possible in the next bull market. Most likely the next bull market will be starting in the next few months and culminate in a peak by end of 2020. I'm not sure if it will actually pass $100k or not at that point but I have high confidence it will reach a bull market peak around $100k (give or take $20k) in 2020. It might take until 2025 for $100k to be the bottom of the market so that the price is stable at $100k+, like how it is $6k now. So very possible we see at least a couple weeks of 6 digit Bitcoin prices in 2020 and then it'll probably be another few years before the price has become stable in the 6 digits to the point in which we don't ever expect to see it below $100k again.
