it takes a long time to restore investor confidence, now investors prefer short-term investing. buy when prices go down and sell when prices rise. to achieve this price requires the trust of investors to invest long term.

bitcoin is too sensitive to news. if there is negative news, the price of bitcoin will immediately drop. years earlier bitcoin rarely received negative news, but this year negative news came in succession.

I doubt that it will happen that fast. WE are sure that it will rise up but it must be too fast to think that by 2020 the price will be more than 100K. Something must happen between 2019 that will cause the big jump. ETF they said will be on 2019 but there ain't any assurance whether where the price is going if its approved. We may even be seeing ETH replacing BTC if things went well for ETH that all those significant tokens are going to be adopted.

You have missed one part out though! If we are really to be looking at statistics, you should not be starting the current bottom as a start of the increase in 2020. For instance, there has been an increase in the start of the bull year even before it starts for that year.

2011 ended at $30 and 2013 began its increase above the 2011 ATH, while 2017 also began its bullishness close to the 2013 ATH. So let's imagine in that scenario, that we are starting the bull year for bitcoin at around $18,000 to $19800 as the case may be, and then we can do our maths with that, which from my end, we should be looking at around $288,000 to $300000. Just saying!

Although the trend of bitcoin has been given in the past, this year is a very bad year. Many new altcoins and fake ICOs are becoming new pumps, and these altcoins are scattered among bitcoin funds and investors!

that's a good question.. I think that won't happen before 2025
That feels pretty realistic especially with how the up and downs go in the Bitcoin market. Quite a few mental barriers along our way up.

I would just loosely say "the next bubble". That could be closer to 2020 (halving season), or it could be 2025 or later. I'd bet on the former though, because I think the extremely limited supply will always drive prices up speculatively before adoption goes exponential.

Either way, timing any market is nearly impossible, let alone a market with less than a decade of price history. Cheesy

Yep, perhaps prior to the next halving we might see another bubble form topping at $100,000 followed by another bearish trend. Because its only logical that after the next halving, those bag holders who accumulated will have to liquidate at some point it time, which means another cycle will follow soon after that. But another question though is that how miners are going to be affected by this halving and what's its correlation on the future price of bitcoin.

It's not prediction it's only statistics for last years. Every bull market bitcoin grow approximently 16x

2011 year : (1$-30$)
2013 year: (100$ - 1149$)
2017 year : (1000$ - 20000$)

Last bull market was ended in january and on the statistic bull market continues approximently  one year. Bearish maret on the statistic continues approximently 10 mounth and if look on past periods, next bull market begin in october - december 2018. Therefore based on past years  can to make computation next price bitcoin:
2020 year6500$ x 16 = 104 000$ ?

Guys it's only statics as per past years, don't accept this how accurate prediction  future.
That mean we should expect another bull run from January next year. However,  if ETF is approve then bitcoin heading towards $50,000 to $10,000 will be possible before end of 2019. I have seeing how many of us here has predicted bitcoin's price and your predictions came to pass and I believe that in the next one year we should have a good time in our investments.

the thing about adoption is that it is unpredictable and when it happens, it happens fast. like last year. nobody could predict such an adoption growth in such a short period of time although we always know it is possible. and as we go forward and bitcoin grows more and gains more popularity, it becomes easier for it to be adopted hence the adoption will be bigger and faster. so we end up with a much shorter and bigger rallies and resulting bubbles.
with that said i think 2020 is a good guess for the next big bubble at $100k but that is not the next bull market. the bull market will start pretty soon. the $100k will be the final bull market of this round ending with the next big bubble.

This statistics are totally wrong because we must calculate the maximum supply of Bitcoin then only we will predict the future possibilities of Bitcoin. Already more than 70 percentage of the Bitcoin was mined. so we will predict demand and supply of Bitcoin but this period is really hard says how to survive in the future journey so better we should wait and see the future result is good for everyone.

hmm, this is really great, but for bitcoin to hit such price, it will take much longer time than I ever think..
it may take up to 5 more years before bitcoin will hit 100,000$. from the way the market is dropping and going up it is really affecting the growth

I believe that experience has clearly shown us that it is useless to speculate with the future price of bitcoin based only on the historical performance of the market, even more so if we take into account that the conditions of development, popularity and market penetration at present are substantially different those that prevailed five, three or one year ago. Nowadays no one is surprised by the potential of cryptocurrencies, and I believe that all serious investors have enough information about what bitcoin means, and the effects of the FOMO have already been overcome.

Therefore, it is highly probable that from the painful awakening that has meant this year for the crypto market, maybe we could expect an upward trend in the medium term but in a much slower way than we had observed in the previous years, for I doubt very much that at any given time the price of bitcoin will come to be quoted far beyond $50K in about five years.

First of all I want to say that the infographics that you have attached, it is really very useful. Thank you, sir. Absolutely no one doubts that bitcoin will grow in the future. That's understandable. What kind of price will bitcoin tell me is extremely difficult and no one knows for sure. Therefore, these are only our own assumptions.
It's like Forex or binary options. You can't know 100%. You risk and your risk is justified.Sometimes you're wrong.

That is an achievable goal, but to me, i do not think it is possible in the nearest time. it will probably be in a decade Sad

Early to mid 2021

I'm sure that the growth of bitcoin by 2021 will force the community to re-believe in crypto-currencies. In Japan, it is already possible to pay for goods and services with bitcoin. In a couple of years, I hope Europe will legalize crypto-currencies

This is your own personal analysis and assumptions judging from past bitcoin price movement, but the point I will disagree with is where you predicted $104000 price in 2020 because since the price of bitcoin is highly volatile it will be a false to state an exact amount bitcoin will be in the future.

You are now giving an analogy of past years. Perhaps this price will be by 2020.
I once met a forum thread in which the author spoke. That in 2014, bitcoin after the fall took 54 weeks that the rate began to align and went up. As of 2018, only 33 weeks have passed since the fall at the beginning of the year. Therefore, in the near future it will be possible to increase bitcoin to those marks that you say. But these are just dreams and guesses.

It all sounds good and statistics can work in certain situations and for some
calculations but there is a factor which cannot be calculated, human emotions!

I believe there will be further adoption in time but anything can happen.
