i dunno m8 but we are all in same situation i wish i would exit from altcoins long time ago but i couldnt dare it and they kept dropping. there is no way except waiting to cover our losses. now every altcoins are in their deepest point so selling is meaningless.

we all have the same problem man, the drops of the market recently have made investors suffered so much losses and loosing trust on cryptocurrencies, even many people have stop investing in cryptos, i have always known that there will be a recovery in the future but surely this will be a very long time from now. We have no choice but hoping for good news will bring the price of the market go higher in the future.

I wouldn't be depressed, if you started out in crypto with such a good portfolio it means your research skills are good and you will make money in this space, this is possibly the best beginner portfolio I've seen on the forum, a few of those coins I wouldn't buy but 80% of them are very solid projects and some aren't getting much hype and have huge potential, so you've got some skill there.
Buying at an ATH is where you went wrong, only experience will help you understand peaks, corrections and good buy prices better, consider this a big part of that learning curve, what goes up must come down.
The people saying you've got a shit portfolio just ignore them, if you bought that portfolio today you would be doing very well come the year end, you'll recover your money and make even more on top this year, as for when we have to wait for the market to turn bullish again, but it's fair to assume it'll happen this year, probably mid year is my guess for the market turning, always better to invest after tax time

Holding than many alts all the way down from the heights of Jan 8th must be hard to stomach but now you are down here it can't get much worse so ride it out. This is the reason they say don't invest what you can't afford to loose because in times like this when you see your savings dwindle away you are more likely to pull out and miss out of the fruits of your wait.

First of all, if you need that money in such a short time frame, why did you invested? Investments are supposed to be done for the long term, not just a few months, this was your first mistake, your second mistake was investing when the prices were sky high, it is obvious you are going to lose money by doing that, you will have to hold until that day and if you are still losing money you will have to take a decision of what it is more important to you, to earn money or to visit your grandfather. Once I had round of fail decisions in trading crypto and reduced my balance from 1000 to 400 in a week. Felt very depressed then. My mistake was selling already failed coins in hope to recover and not to miss profits with other coins. So my advice is to hold until it recovers. I think some of your holdings may recover pretty soon. Just be patient.

I see you invest TOO MUCH coins. Just research and invest on 2 ~ 3 crypto bro. Stay away from trash coin and pumb&dump coin, because when it collapsed, it'll never recuperate. But you buy good coin, it can increase or decrease, but overall is always uptrend. Change your invest method pls

I don't think your altcoins are shitty. But despite a few they are all really, really new and will perhaps need more than some months to gain in price enough to convince you. Still, you should just hold them until your losses recover and then you may review the gains and rebalance your portfolio based on that.

June and july is still a few months away and january has always been bearish for i can remember. Just keep your coins. Not all them will go up at the same time so you have to also monitor the movement of every single one of them. Patience is they and january is almost over so stay positive

nobody knows. i lost about 50% of my investment around august 2017. and they are still not yet recovered. if i didnt sell them i would be lost much more. Sometime we should check our portfolio and and sell some of them in loss.

and i not say it to brag or boast i say it so people learn. you do not get rich buying the bubble. eth is all just hot air ....do it like the early bitcoin and eth investors and buy into cheap projects where you cannot know yet if its a success.... where you cannot know yet what it will be...
if you are the tenth million person to invest in eth how do you ever expect to see a profit? all those millions of people got it cheaper than you and will cash out before you bringing the price down.....
and eth does not only have the biggest risk.. there also is no upside.... no eth wont be valued as much as apple. you can already see it in last 6 months, eth has it very hard now to grow because so many people are cashing out their eth they got for cents or maybe $10.
i make my money investing EARLY in neo, raiblocks, verge, tron...... do i suggest buying them now? well maybe neo and raiblocks.... but of course they are now quite high. still not a bad choice and better than eth for sure. but if you want same profits as i u need the really cheap projects like spacechain, metaverse, opus, oyster pearl, zoin... or something that has a real business/value as waltonchain.
