I started using bitcoin around december last year 2015. I can't pretty much remember what day I started using bitcoin but I clearly remember why I am using bitcoin now. I began using bitcoin because I wanted to gain some extra money via internet without the need of doing something illegal. That's when I started to find ways how to earn money online and I found bitcoin, then I started using it knowing that I can get some money using bitcoin.
I've been using Bitcoin since late 2012 - early 2013, but not as much as I do now.
I kinda regret not getting into Bitcoin earlier, but I did make a nice profit during those times.

wow, that is too early and it seems if you save during that time you have a big profit now
For me, I just started early this year of 2016. So far it is great that it gives me opportunity and extra income.Since 20012 I already read article about bitcoin, but still I have no idea how to get it.

I started using bitcoin this year also. It was April 8, 2016, a Facebook user introduced me about bitcoin because he read my comment in a discussion showing interest. I am so happy that he shared this to me, the biggest opportunity I ever had online so far.
i just notice that it is more people are joining using bitcoin starting in 2014 to 2016 because of the trending news about bitcoin that the price is touch into 1k value that many people alread been rich when they are bought a large number of bitcoin for a cheap price and sell after 1k value.
For i am started 2015 using bitcoin but honestly i already knows about bitcoin 2011 but i did not realize that bitcoin will be more expensive right now..

I think it was in 2013 when the price went to above 1000 dollar for a short moment. I read then an article about someone who had a 500 btc from the start, and was now rich. From than on i have been reading a lot of articles about BTC on the web, and started to earn very small BTC Sat; with faucets and so.
I've started using bitcoin that I have had since 2015. I always use my bitcoin for my purposes, and for trading. Well, my goal is to multiply the current bitcoin, so I might be more inclined to use bitcoin fatherly I have for business purposes than just spend it for fun. in addition, it also makes the experience and knowledge I gained
In 2015. I wish it was earlier, like in 2013 before the big boom, but better late than never, right?

No wonder you were confused. 2014 was a confusing year. The price kept going down and many mining companies went bankrupt as a result. Hope you bought a lot of coins, because the price won't go that low again.

I do start using bitcoin 2013 i start faucet that time. Then after a year bitcoin become popular in facebook online investment using bitcoin but many person are greedy they used bitcoin to scam people. Then until now i used bitcoin for trading.

I Started Using Bitcoin in 2014 and started working in it and firstly I tried faucets and collect some bitcoins but then I found that its very time consuming, So I started to find new ways of earning Bitcoins then I came to know about cloud mining and started investing money in it. I also get some profit from mining and then I also started trading and much more things to earn Bitcoins. I started using Bitcoin this year (2016) in april.

I started in 2014, well, I just knew about bitcoin then and researched some of it and did few faucets, never continued doing any, lol. Then in 2016 I saw a craze of bitcoin over the internet, and started continuing my research, and then knew about signature campaigns, and in no time I joined one Today, I consider myself as someone who knows a good deal about bitcoin.

I began using bitcoin early 2015, I just bought a few to test how it works and created my own paper wallet. Then I started sending a few satoshi to some exhanges to trade altcoins. I realized i could earn money trading aside from just buying and holding bitcoins, so i bought more bitcoins and focused on trading.
I started domain name reselling in 2013, and when I was doing some research regarding my business in 2014 I got to know about cryptocurrency (I also made $450+) profit with my bitcoin domain name, and then I started accepting bitcoins, and hence I am here. I have deep faith in this technology and believe that this will change the financial lifestyle of the world.
2013 ? are you sure ? yes you certainly many knowledge about bitcoin and what did you buy with bitcoin?As I said, I started my domain name reselling business in 2013 and I came to know about bitcoin in 2014 (while I was doing some research for my business). I registered on this forum on 24-07-2014 to sell my bitcoin related domain names, I accepted bitcoin in deal but converted it to fiat (to reinvest it).
There are not a many merchants in my country (I am not sure if there is even a single merchant in my town) so I am not able to spend my bitcoins offline and hence I spend some online and keep rest of the bitcoins in cold storage.
As far as knowledge is concerned, I consider myself a newbie and that's what makes me greedy to seek more and more knowledge.

That's good. Hopefully you have been able to hang on to some of those bitcoin and some of the other bitcoin that you may have purchased at well below the current market price.
I think that this thread topic is a little bit confusing.. because, there may be a lot of us who are not really "using" bitcoin too much but instead we may be accumulating it and sometimes trading it in order to attempt to accumulate more of it.
I don't "use" bitcoin too much, even though I started accumulating it in early 2013.
I know i joined the bitcoin very late, Well, i came in bitcoin in 2016, in this way. In the start of the year, i know about the bitcoin, and you know that all was by chance happened, one day, I saw about bitcoin video in YouTube, than i searched about it, and my first step was faucets, but suddenly i know about signature campaign and than i joined it, so till that time i came here and still here, Because signature campaign is a good way to gain information about all crypto currencies.

If I remember good I've started using bitcoin in the 2014's fall. I remember my beginning in the crypto world clicking faucets and purchasing gigahashes on cex.io. Those were the days! lol I've joined bitcointalk on December 1st and I never regretted one moment!
