I have been using since the beginning of 2014. bitcoin well, a lot of things I learned from bitcoin, especially when I joined this forum. bitcoin really made me change my personality. Well, before the bitcoin know, I'm very lazy to do things related to the business. but, after getting to know bitcoin, I'm always thinking about new business.
At start, I searched ways on how to get bitcoins for free and I found faucets which newbies really do. I spent time maybe a week until I have been redirected here in the forum. This year is a blessing for me because it teach me how to make real money online that I waited for so long.
Talking about the poll, maybe those pioneers just ignore this thread, it proves that newbies in btc are more active in this thread.

I don't really mind your overall conclusion, because there is likely some truth to your overall conclusions, but I doubt that the poll data is a very reliable indicator of such conclusion, because there could be other explanations why old timers may not be participating in this thread or the forum generally... and conversely.

I've just started using and introduced to bitcoin this year I still remember it is several months ago since the first time that I have joined the bitcoin community good thing that I have learned so much even from using a faucet, dealing with trading and gambling for short time and from coming to this forum. I still remember the time when I was eager to get even a small amount from faucet and accumulate 1 btc and until now I haven't achieved it

i started using bitcoins from 2012 before their price was 750$. I have seen bitcoin price rise and fall since. The best fact about bitcoin is its volatility and anonymity. I have suggested many friends to use bitcoins. I hope every government approves bitcoins.
I first knew about bitcoin back in 2009 from the news and since then i wanted to know more about it so i started searching but back then there was not many ways to earn btc so i quit and came back in 2014 when a friend talked about it and he mentioned that it was about 500$ which was very surprising for me because when i quit bitcoin it was about 100$ worth

As for me, I started using Bitcoin before the Bitcoin bubble and when the price was around 70 USD per coin. By "started", I mean I create my first Bitcoin wallet and go around filling in Captcha to get some free Bitcoin. I stopped because the "salary" from faucets is too low to keep my interest. I came back in 2014 during the down-fall of Bitcoin bubble (around 600 USD) and learnt about signature campaign. From there on, I continue as a loyal Bitcoiner despite the price dropping below 200 USD and then come back to 700 USD today rates.

If I were in the time you know bitcoin, maybe I will be a millionaire now because I am willing to take risk and buy those cheap price, it has only proven that bitcoin is a strong asset as after the fall down it rises again.I start in 2013.
I have started using bitcoin way back 2013 but what I meant in using is not literally using it, just creating a wallet then doing faucets. After weeks of claiming bitcoin through faucets, I had enough of it since it was really really low. I quit bitcoin that time. I started using Bitcoin a little over a year ago. If I had known the currency before, I would probably have invested to acquire a large sum. I think that in the early years few people had contact with Bitcoin, this is probably due to the fact that there was not much publicity for the currency at the time.
That's right. People were very skeptic about bitcoin in its early years because they thought it was a scam but then as the years passed and bitcoin's reputation arose, they started to enter its world slowly and cautiously.It reminds me of The Guardian article that I read when I first joined the world of Bitcoin. It was about a Norwegian man who bought $27 worth of bitcoin in 2009 (equalled 5,000 bitcoin at that time) and completely forgot about them, until the widespread media coverage of bitcoin in 2013 jogged his memory then he discovered that his 5,000 bitcoin worth $886,000 (damn lucky!).
