Im pretty sure we will be sitting at 1000+ dollars before 12 months go by. We are only like 5 dollars away from 778 which is the resistance we are battling at right now, once we cross 778 then this will mean we are stronger to go 800+
Well, I guess only a few days left until the year 2016 ended. so, I suppose, the price of bitcoin will completely penetrate the price of $ 1000 in 2017, maybe it will start with the substantial investment for bitcoin. maybe the price will not be stable, but, if the increase occurs slowly, maybe the price will be stable
I am guessing we might cross 1000 USD this January since BTC has been climbing a lot right now.
Btc had been in a seesaw recently, is it that it had found it's new floor? Anway withr regards of the price of BTC reaching $1000 this january, I don't think that it will happen, most probably we can see a strong resistance when BTC price hits 900 USD because people will then be sellin the bitcoin they bought when bitcoin is at sub $800. Maybe in the last week of the first quarter.
I think we would go $1000 by next year, but I suspect that there will be a huge drop once it reaches around that price. However, going down to $200 is impossible this time. Maybe $500 or $600++ ? Just my speculation.
Yes $1000+ will most likely happen anytime next year.
But I don't think we will see massive sell offs. I think it will be the opposite.
The closer we come to the actual ATH the more people will pant for new highs! We are waiting and fighting for this more as 3 years now.
So imo some big excitement and FOMO should expected much more.

I think it will be possible only in the first quater of the next 2017 year. The maximum that we can expect from bitcoin in December of 2016 is 800$ or 800+$ not more.
Right now, it seems like the exchange rates have stabilized at $740 to $750 per coin. The next spike will definitely take Bitcoin over the $1,000 per coin mark. But I can't predict when that is going to occur. Most probably, it is going to happen sometime in the 2017. There is going to be a lot of resistance at the $950-980 levels.
What makes you think so sure about it? What if we correct 20-25% from where we are now (double top formation on the charts for this year), which wouldn't be that unlikely. Do you still think we would reach $1k on the next spike that easily? Looking that the halving pump stalled at $800, I am not that sure at all.i may agree but i only know one thing here, the more times you reach a certain value/point it will make that point stronger, so we reached two times $450 and then it was the new bottom after that we reached $750 two times and now it's the new bottom, guess where we are heading?
Guess where heading at 1000$ point level but we cannot really speculate the right time on when it would be happen, but lets all hope that goodwill let it happen since surely many people for now are watching the movements of bitcoins price and i hope also that we cannot encounter some major problems that can affect the bitcoins price to go down, but for now lets brace ourselves a good surprise is incoming for us to hit up. Of course we won't reach $1000 in 2016 we might reach $800 when we assume that usual bitcoin pumping winter will be a thing this year as well.But 2017 will be a whole different story - we already have game changing news and projects already announced (YOURS, Bitcache/Megaupload 2.0)that reaching $1000 will be a piece of cake.

If the price constantly increase, we might cross the $1000 barrier in 2017 but there is no guarantee of course.
The trend has been over 20% every quarter for the last year so I predict within the next 90 days we will get to at least $900 because adoption is picking up worldwide...

I think that the end of December or starting week of January, 2k17 should come up with some surprises and we might see boom in the price of bitcoins.
Still, I don't want to be over-bullish as the price is already much high and I think stability should remain in the markets rather than getting it pumped.

i dont think it would go up to 1k within this year thou. By looking at current situation that is. However, I do think its a great time to buy more and wait till next year.

I don't see us getting to $1000 until late next year. If we get their sooner, it could be just a short term bubble that will burst. I do think we will eventually get there though.
Lets work it out mate we can go there if all of us work together and continue introducing bitcoin to all of our friends and relatives the more people involved the more chances that it will bring new investment and it will take effect with its value.It will go to $1000 next year for sure....
I mean it is easy to write it will drop or it will rise, but try to support your thesis with some arguments at least.
Otherwise it is worth nothing.
