I buy base on technical,news and speculations in the market. With Technical,when the previous week support is hit I buy. If Important news of the asset am trading is in the media I buy.
I usually buy when the price is low. But you really have to wait and have patience because as of right now the Bitcoin price is too high. This is not the best time to buy. However, given the fact that the price is too high, I have strategy so that I can place my money. I will do the average price of Bitcoin for 2 weeks at least you will have idea what is the lowest point because waiting for the price to go down like 3k or 4k, that is too long or impossible for now.
I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise

I usually buy my favorite altcoin when I see the bitcoin pump because at this point the altcoin will dump. I will buy it at a cheaper price and wait to sell it for a higher price.)in fact, altcoin will definitely go down if the bitcoin is being pumped if the altcoin you trade alt that paired with bitcoin. i.e like eth / btc. ltc / btc, dash / btc etc. But it's different if the altcoin you trade is paired with USD or other local currency. This is proven by some altcoins such as xzc / usd, bch / usd, xrp / usd, which had come up when bitcion was being pumped. So I think this depends on the type of altcoin we are trade.

Buy always, never sell works better for me :-D And that's how it should be, or at least buy them and spend, unless you just invest in bitcoins and try to get profit from them, but then you need to predict price changes really well or else you will sell at really bad time and will lose potential profit.
its the rule of trading buy whenever the rate is low and sale whenever the rate is high. according to my opinion still the rate of bitcoin is low and i am still continuing in buying coins and keep the for a time whenever the rate of bitcoin is too high from present rate then i will start selling.
I don’t think it would be better to buy now. Prices of bitcoins are more than affordability level right now. But that varies from person to person. For some this price is just normal and they will buy and hold for long time and then they will be making great profits. But for some, this price is much more than buying level so better for them to stay quite now, until price gets low.

)it is an easy question and in trading also many who know when the right time to buy is when the price is low but be careful we must also be able to read the market how the potential to rise again

This is the very basic principal that you should go for buying only when the market price is falling down. In my opinion, there is one important factor which plays a very vital role in this kind of thing and that whether you are having this much of budget that you can afford buying of bitcoin or not. If you have enough resources at the time when market price is low, then buy at that time.

Surely anyone who invests would want to buy low and sell high. But sometimes things do not go their way. To limit risks you should carefully study the project you intend to invest, closely monitor all activities of the project to have the best investment.

Who told you that? There are times you will lose money and it will take like months and possibly a year to recover. What of the people that will invest at high rate before a deflation, maybe due to a split, don’t you think they’re losing money if the price doesn’t skyrocket?

Who told you that? There are times you will lose money and it will take like months and possibly a year to recover. What of the people that will invest at high rate before a deflation, maybe due to a split, don’t you think they’re losing money if the price doesn’t skyrocket?
I buy when I have funds and usually if it's a dip. But it's really hard to predict if the coin is already on it's lowest point and I want to buy on that position and it's really hard to tell

How do you know that the price won't be more more low and how do you know if the price will be high after we buy the coins? It is not complete source of information how you can do that. All of people has knew about this basic knowledge 
In my personal experience the time to open position buy or sell the coins depending on the trend of price, if the price is starting going up i started buy the coins and wait until the price being more expensive, it is based on analysis technical. How about you?

The market price of bitcoin hardly matters for me because I know bitcoin is going to give me good amount of profit no matter at which I price I buy bitcoin.
