If one should wait until when the market value of bitcoin reaches the lowest level in a week or month that will be a very difficult task when it come to the issue of investment in bitcoin. Currently, if You buy at any single drop in the market value of bitcoin be rest assured that you will definitely make good profit from your investment because bitcoin has a strong growth potential.

I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise Smiley)

When i will buy, first i`ll just watch the graph if you see the graph ups and down thats not the right time to buy but when graph goes down and stop that is the time i buy when graph goes up even a little i will sell it i dont aim for big profits im ok even if its small.
I think yes that is too much important to study about the market first if you are going to invest your money or trade an altcoin. because there are so many scam altcoin, while other are near to die having no potential to increase in its price. i think you must have good study about altcoin to choose the best one so that it can give you a good profit after some time.

selling and buying altcoins is basically so various because there are two cotegories of buyers and sellers which are the holders and the traders. holders that hold different altcoins some coins may success and other may fail but when the coins success the holders gains real cash, in other hand the traders always trade whenever there is a pop up and a dump, pop sell, and dump buy;

Best case, buy a coin that has never been popular at the low price and when it is starting to rise.
That's more a gambling-like investment style rather than a well thought out move. If a coin isn't 'popular' it either means that it doesn't solve a problem (which the far majority of the coins don't), or it's a gem that at some point will explode in value. In case of the latter, it again comes down to it being a pure gamble.

Low prices on a coin that has been around and had higher prices, maybe not the way to go, have to know why it is bottoming out now.
It depends - it indeed comes down to the exact reason, but if you understand what you're investing in, then finding out what that reason is for the price to have gone down, will not be a problem at all. In most cases these are exactly the opportunities people want to benefit from. At the end of the day, everything you do has a certain risk involved, but knowing what you're investing in helps reducing certain risks a lot.

Best case, buy a coin that has never been popular at the low price and when it is starting to rise.  this makes new coins a favorite.  Low prices on a coin that has been around and had higher prices, maybe not the way to go, have to know why it is bottoming out now.  Either way, you want the bottom of the wave, as it starts to head upward,  pretty straight forward, but that is the basics.

Bitcoin price is really unpredictable that is why it requires mathematical skills and clever strategic decision making when planning to buy bitcoin. For me to be succesful in anything we should be risk taker. Anytime you can buy bitcoin whether at a low or higher price but make sure when you sell it back it should be in higher price even if it means that you will hold it for a while.
Mathematical skills? I dont think so this thing wont really work out on bitcoin trading but for those who do day trade on bitcoin do really have good trading skills regarding on hearing out news together with some mix of technical analysis which would really be a good combinations. This is why some do tend to go for long term than on going short or day trading because it is really a risky thing.

Yes I always aim to buy at the lowest price of bitcoin and that's not a good type of trading if you'll not aiming to buy at the dip because it's inappropriate if you'll buy at the peak and sell at low.

and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict.

Buying at the lowest price isn't really risky since you only have to buy when you think it's on the dip. While in predicting, you'll base everything on what's happening together with the news and adoption.

do you follow expert advice??

Yes, I'm extracting those advice of experts that are helpful but not all the time I'm following them as I want to stand alone.
It is good to listen to the experts but it is not wise to follow them under all situations. All human beings have different story and everyone is living a totally different life from the other. It is better to listen one's own advice, make mistakes and gather experience so that he can also become an expert. We read something, we forget it but when we do something it becomes a part of memory that can never get erased.

If you are asking about in bitcoin, yes it is about time to buy now then hold in a long term. Then its up to you if you like to buy other altcoins  whether short or long term. Actually, every investment that you are going to do here there is always risk, bear that in your mind. Then analyze and observe the tips and advised you receive in this forum, before you make a decision.
In contrary I was not believes that it is the time to buy bitcoin, because if you see the graph of bitcoin it was starting to fall down. Maybe we need to wait for the meantime and we need a proper timing in buying bitcoin. Due to if we can't be careful in buying of bitcoin there's a possibility that instead of earning they will gain losses.

well, i might buy bitcoin when the price will come down again. well, maybe when the price is under $ 4000, it would be a good thing to buy it, because I think it would be easy for bitcoin to go higher. well, but wait for the price below $ 4000, still long enough.

It is better to buy when the price is low or has a drop, cause if you buy now, you will have to wait for a long time to get back your capital. And also, the rule of trading is buy low and sell high (which is not only applicable for traders alone, but for all).
Gaining profit is totally depending on the time investor bought the coin and this thing is counted in the strategy and buy lo sell high is the main thing in bitcoin industry those who are putting keen eyes on the charts they are waiting for the dump so that they can enhance their bitcoin wallet and as the dump come they buy with all the resources so that they can live an epic life in future.

Watch the market and buy on dips, don't buy coin when it has straight downline, don't buy coin when it is in bubble and don't panic when you see coin you have bought is decreasing in value.
Waiting and patience is key to be successful trader.

When I'm in good mood!:-)

Buying is really simple thing if you put it that way really. The true entry point can't be decided in the crypto currencies because they are always fluctuating on major scale. It's hard to enter at right point so you should be creating multi entry points, this means you should just get the coins at multiple points leading you to more odds of getting profits. That's simple because you will always have lower value covered with respect to your trade entry point. Think on it. Its really helpful trick if you don't really get the exact mapping of coins.
